I used to love coming here when I was younger, so I came a few days ago with my bf. Employees were really unwelcoming and rude.. I had asked if they still sold puppies and kittens and the guy just shrugged.. like, you don't know? Please, hire better employees. Overall I love their setups and their reptiles

I bought my new puppy from here and their service is amazing! All about the customer and the owner is so nice, the employees are very helpful and friendly. I will definitely bring my puppy to get groomed here.

Service has gone downhill. My bf had called to make appointment for Monday like they had asked and when he arrived Leslie mentioned that she didn't like my review and showed him my Yelp review.Would've appreciated if they had the courtesy to tell us then and there that they're not able to provide service anymore instead of allowing him to make an appointment and then refusing service once he arrives. Apparently they don't respect people's time.It's absolutely her right to refuse service but why waste his time. He had to take PTO on a weekday and drove from LA to be turned away.Instead of trying to remediate the situation and earn a better review she rather cut ties. I understand that she can't get any scratches due to her current condition so I'm not blaming her in any way just that the situation was handled poorly.

I went there and try to buy a hamster. Staff there were friendly and helpful. And the price of their hamster was very cheap and reasonable! Got a super small baby hamster from them! I love this little one so much!

Their groomers are pretty good but their customer service is pretty rude. Oddly they have a no picture policy so you cannot take pics of your own dog. However, I saw their groomers taking pictures of a cat they were grooming! They don't even want you watching and instead of asking you to move, they rudely lectured us. For a pet store, they are not understanding dog people!

My first impression was GREAT. The store attendant who assisted me was super knowledgeable and truthful. He answered my questions very well and patiently although I told him I was not gonna buy right away. He treated me exactly how always treat my customers. Great job. Perhaps, more choices of fish would be a good improvement. Also, details about the animals too.

*updatePrices are a bit high, but they sell great quality stuff. Unfortunately they don't price match, as I've found stuff on chewy for a lot cheaper.All in all, their products are great. FamilyOwned business, with incredible customer service. Leslie is amazing, and the best groomer I’ve ever had.This is my go to pet store for everything.

Best price on live crickets, and great prices on other items as well. The people who work here are nice. My kids and I like chatting with the Amazon grey parrot who is the store pet. We also love to see the various small animals for sale. They offer boarding services as well.

Great place to find pet food that other pet stores don't carry. Service is excellent. I called to check if they had a certain food, Rene answered right away & helped me. Other pet stores took forever. Rene is a very attentive sales associate. He not only helped me find what I was there to buy, he took the time to order me what they didn't have in stock. They have a Doggie Day Care which is very clean. The animals for sale are kept in very clean cases which are cleaned daily. If your looking for dogs, bunnies, fish, or reptiles I highly recommend this pet store. (Fish selection is small, but what they have is nice & well priced.)

I recently adopted a 3 month Tabby Female kitty, that I have named Precious . My experience with Santana she was so helpful, and honest with regard to knowing the personalities of the kitties I was looking at. She helped me pick out a great fun loving kitty that is filled with love and lots of energy. Along with Santana I received outstanding customer service from Rene. You can tell that both Santana and Rene have strong knowledge of the animals in their store and highlighted the positive and some setbacks regarding the few kitties I was looking at. Took great care of our dog. Our dog has been dealing with fleas quite a bit this summer as his usual medication doesn't seem to be working. After they finished grooming him with a cut and bath, they gave him a bandana. Then gave us some suggestions for a new brand of medication. They were very patient with us and worked hard. All in all, great service and great work. Will definitely be looking to come back.

Lesli was attentive, be prepare to leave your dog there for 3 hours. Its good that they call you when your dog is ready. The price for small-med size dog is fare $60-$80 for full grooming. Its my second time, will take my dog back there next time.

They have lots of stuff for pets. My cat was sneezing and congested, did not want 2 pay over $ 200 @ vet so I searched online and purchased Home Pet The Natural Choice Feline Nose Relief for about $16. It worked!! The girl who works there ( Amy) was so nice, helpful and very knowledgeable of products sold there. She said I could return product if if it didn't work. Great place to go for all your pet needs.

I called them to take in my shi tzu for haircut. The guy that answered told me they where booked, then called me back and said if I could arrive within the hour they would take my dog. I got there within 50 minutes and the guy along with the groomer said they couldn't take my dog. Extremely disappointed. Wasted my time.

I brought my standard poodle in for a wash and cut. She came out looking great, the staff were nice and I got an appointment fast. My only issue was having to walk past all the dogs for sale...they of course got excited and started barking when my dog walked by. Other than that, great place!

this place is amazing, they were able to groom our doggie, she's aggressive especially when it comes to getting her hair cut, poor baby her name is Happy & we rescued her off the streets o Pasadena we've had her for about 1year and a half. Almost Everywhere has blacklisted her & nobody will attempt to cut her hair. but Leslie the groomer IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I'll never loòk for another groomer Leslie is the one! to anyone who needs a good groomer i totally recommend Leslie the whole pet store employees are remarkable very nice people

Above and beyond my expectations.I had my 70lb shepard/retriver/lab mix groomed here and they got her to stop shedding for almost two months. They use good quality products and are very considerate to the pets.The new owners are smart, organized, and loving. All their pets are healthy and get lots of attention. The prices are very competitive considering they are not a corporation.

Didn't know this place until my daughter told me. Bought blue worms and other small worms for my bearded dragon. They even have pinkies! And it's alot closer to my home instead of going to Norwalk for feeding my reptiles.

I know this store since it was taken over by the new owner. He has been completely professional and making changes the best he can.People who purchase rescue dogs or cats are just taking a big risk. They should know that. Do your homework and if you have an animal loving heart and understand the possibility that a rescue could come with genetic defects, parasites and other unknowns, then rescue. If you want a pet that has parents and grandparent screened for defects and are bred for health, confirmation and temperament, then find a reputable breeder. If the pet doesn’t work out, the breeder will always take it back and assure the pet gets the best home.When I read a dog was purchased with Parvo and returned, then that wasn’t Parvo. Unfortunately, if a dog had Parvo especially a puppy, his chances of survival are slim unless he’s hospitalized. No knowledgeable pet store owner would take in an animal back knowing it has Parvo. That disease stays in the environment for Up to 6 months and is extremely contagious. The owner should have brought the vet report that could have evaluated approximately when the illness was as contacted. Probably not from the store.If you think you want a toy breed as a rescue, you may never know how big the pup will get nor will you know what type of health problems it will have.So please people, this store is doing what it can to survive. These dogs and cats are better off here than in an animal shelter.I have never experienced anyone in the store being unprofessional or have I seen animals not being cared for. Yes they are in cages, but it is only temporary.Please just do your homes work. If you don’t get a rescue here, go to a rescue organizations website.Take care and stay safe.

Shop small! They have a great variety in fog and cat food as well as reptile supply. They get fresh worm on Wednesday so keep a look out!

The store has been around for ages, but ownership changed hands about 2 yrs ago. They remodeled, focused their products, and added services such as doggie daycare and grooming. There are less pets for sale and more premium food products now. If you're looking for live pets, they sell fish, birds, snakes, spiders, lizards, and I think guinea pigs too. On occasion, I've seen featured pets for adoption. It's also one of the few pet stores around that sell live and frozen feeders such as crickets, superworms, hormworms, and more. It's where I buy supplies for my bearded dragon, and where he boards when I head out of town. The staff is super-friendly, and manager Renee is super knowledgeable on a wide range of pet topics. When the pandemic restrictions shut down my normal dog groomer, Pet Emporium remained open and did a decent job of grooming my Pomeranian.

They allow the store dog, which bites to be off leash going around to all dogs. They don't control the dog, and did attempt to bite my dog.They have lost a customer. Used to be a great place, and looked forward to supporting a small local.business.

Not sure why your website states open till 5pm and yet pet store is closed by 3pm, I've come by on a Sunday as well and pet store is closed before 3pm. Other than the inconvenience of driving to your establishment just to be closed before 5pm, the two younger gents are very nice and attentive.

I LOVE this place. I’ve never seen a dead animal here. All of the animals are well taken care of by the cool staff. I highly recommend coming here for any pet needs.Also, I appreciate the variety of different types of species!

Best pet shop in the San Gabriel valley . RJ is very knowledgeable about all reptiles, fish, dogs and cats. He knows what types of foods are best for each animal and he has given insight to help people nurse sick animals back to health . Overall the store has what you would need and would be able to order of it wasn't available.
