I came to this store a couple times recently because I was looking for a pet carrier. My dog is a bit tall for her size. Although I was unable to find what I was looking for, the staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier who helped me was wearing really cool makeup. I thought it was cute ☺️

Great friendly boutique pet store without the boutique prices. You can find the healthiest tastiest treats n dog food here. My dogs coats and skin are amazing. They are 12 and everyone comments "what cute puppies". staff is always friendly kind n knowledgable.I buy the Merrick but all thee brands seem elevated from your standard.

Very friendly, helpful staff, nothing against them. I used the pet wash station, it’s $22 now! The shampoo is very watered down that it doesn’t have a smell to it, just bring your own if you do a wash. The water pressure is horrible also. Are they trying to save on the water bill?! The inflation needs to stop! It’s the same set up, products, combs and brushes since I had my dog so, and he’s 10 so why the price gouging?!

Walked in with my husband and little doggie. Three employees sitting down on their phones at the register area.No one said hello or welcome in? They all seemed bored Completely turned a blind eye to us. A soapy wet mess on the floor with no Wet Floor signs in the area where we were shopping.We were shopping for Science Diet hypo allergenic biscuits. We did not find. We walked out of the store. Very disappointed. I opened the South Shore Petco In the early 90s. I openend the Petco stores in New york 56th and Lexington and Union Square, the midwest and all the Bay area stores, San Rafael, Alameda, Hayward, Walnut Creek, Concord and many more.I also assisted in the launch the PETCO CLUB CARD back in the day. What went wrong? We still shop the South Shore store but disappointed.

You are missing a lot of trendy products. I wanted compostable/degradable poop bags. There where none. Had to buy regular ones but probably I won't go to Petco next time for poop bags

The store is a bit crammed but still great and the staff is very friendly. I liked that the diy bath stations were clean and you aren't subject to a time limit. However, I strongly recommend to bring your own shampoo if using the baths. My dog had a severe allergic reaction to whatever it is they provide. Unfortunately, the labels did not say anything beyond "shampoo" and "conditioner", so I have no idea what I put on my dog that day in order to avoid it in the future. Lesson learned.

This location has the best self dog wash setup I have been able to find in the east bay. The showers have good pressure, the high velocity dryers are great for my husky and the staff are always nice and helpful. It’s worth every penny of $15 to walk in, wash my dog in someone else’s tub, and walk out leaving a complete mess for someone else to clean up.Pro tip:The shower hose from the middle tub is long enough to reach either tub to the side allowing for double rinse action.Pro Pro tip:After you dry your dog, use the high velocity dryer on yourself to blow off any excess fur and wetness.

I shop here almost weekly for my new doggo. Prices are great, and the selection of dog products is decent for a purposefully small store. I order online, and pick up items in store, which tends to be less expensive. Conveniently located in Alameda Landing. I haven't been disappointed buy any of the products here, and staff is helpful!

I went in to get a specific item, which I had seen on sale on the website - a silicone tray that goes under the pet food dishes for ease of clean up. I was greeted by a friendly sales person who immediately showed me where the item I wanted was. They also matched the price on the website (it was on sale)

This place is great! Super friendly, knowledgeable staff who have been super kind and generous with their time and attention to my frightened rescue dog. I love that I can try things to find out what he likes, and bring it back if he doesn't. VERY helpful, since I bought the wrong sizes of many things, and he's picky about treats.

This was my first visit to this store. Kitten is the manager of this store and she is amazing! I was shopping for someone else and I was unfamiliar with the layout of the store. I showed my list to Kitten and she helped me find everything in about 10 minutes! Kitten is friendly and efficient. The store is very well organized and well stocked. Kitten, thank you for helping me and making my first shopping experience at Unleashed a very pleasant one.

Absolutely everyone that works here is friendly and knowledgeable and treats are dog so well. Jen's training classes are amazing and our dog is always so excited to see her. Wasn't planning to do our classes at a pet store, but after meeting Jen on a store visit, we knew she'd be the best.

I had a horrendous return incident of a bed I ordered on the Petco site, which the Petco store was unable to help me with for whatever reason. So instead I went over to Unleashed, where Andrea helped me for at LEAST an hour, trying to figure out how to return it and what the issue was. She sat on the phone for over 20 minutes trying to get a hold of costumer service for me, and, since it was taking so long, let me leave my name and number so she could contact me once she got a hold of them. She was so nice, patient, and so so helpful and supportive. I’ve never had quite the same experience anywhere else, and Unleashed is the only pet store I want to shop at now.

The staff was VERY Friendly. I have to say that the shampoo and conditioner was VERY Watered Down. Very Disappointed, NO Suds AT ALL. No floor mats so it's very slippery. They provide combs but was filled with someone else's dog hair. Next time I'll bring my own shampoo and brush. If there is a next time.

This was the best experience I've ever had at a pet supply store. I just adopted my dog about a week ago and she isn't loving the food I already got for her, so i came in to get some wet food to make it more enticing. Asia greeted me immediately and asked me if i needed help, so i told her what i was looking for, she asked what kind of dog i had, mentioned pitties are picky eaters, gassy, sensitive, and often have skin issues, which was everything i was dealing with! She gave me a handful of excellent recommendations, showed me their raw food options, wet food for sensitive tummies, all food had minimal ingredients, no BS fillers, chemicals, dyes, or preservatives, and all for a fair price. Her knowledge was extensive and so helpful. She got me signed up with them so i could utilize all their coupons and best deals. I will be returning to this store, and this store only. Thank you Asia!

Great for picking up supplies quickly. Our Petco in Emeryville closed, and this place is smaller but faster. Also, there is no live animals here unlike original Petco stores, so it does not stink. Basically a cleaner and quicker way of shopping supplies from Petco.

Staff is always helpful, available to offer advice on cat food, etc. The store is always clean and well stocked. Staff is also friendly and attentive. I will continue to shop at Unleashed for my two black cats.

Good place to get a dog wash. I'm not so sure about buying stuff there, though. The prices seem high, but, then again, they're high at most other brick and mortar pet stores, too. Staff are very friendly, though I did run into an issue once where the store was closed at a time when it wasn't supposed to be (short staffed)

Good size pet supply store in a shopping center.Staff seem both helpful and knowledgeable.Prices are fair.. Not excessive nor bargaon priced.Their selection of pet foods and pet toys is extensive, especially in regards to dogs and csts.

I saw less then what the Original Petco store carryed: the quality of food-100% natural eatables was absent, toys to phoney in nature, the lighting was dark (alarming); self cleaning basin-oversized udoodle in it. Nothing was usable or workable. Sorry, if i wrong but it had a boring mood and the employees looked at you as you were a suspect. Where is the love?
