I have been bringing my Labrador to Dioji for daycare and boarding in Agoura since she was a puppy. She absolutely loves it there! All the staff are super friendly and all seem to love the dogs. Bailey feels truly loved there which makes us very happy, and comforting to know while you’re away. It’s just like finding a good school for your child, I couldn’t be happier with our experience. They are well organized, highly staffed and communicate very well. They also will give ‘report cards’, send pictures and give updates on your dog.Thank you!

My boyfriend and I were looking to socialize our 6 month old Irish doodle in a safe and loving environment so when we found Dioji, it was just what we were looking for. We live in a condo and our pup’s got a lot of energy, but whenever we leave her even for a half day, she comes back happy and tired. I know she loves it there cause whenever we pull into their lot, she can’t run in fast enough. The staff are super friendly and always greet her by name with a warm welcome. It feels good to know they actually get to know the dogs that come in. Highly recommend!

My dog Stu loves Dioji. I say the word "CAMP?" and he gets excited. Stu has been going for about a year. The staff is so friendly. He gets all of his energy out so by the time he gets home he is wiped out! (which is good for me)! I totally recommend Dioji if you are looking for a daycare!

I’ve been taking my pups to this Dioji location since 2018 and they love it! We don’t have a pool so my lab used to enjoy swimming here and my chihuahua mix always enjoys playing in the kiddie pool. Now that we have a new rescue lab mix she has been enjoying coming here too! The staff always remembers your dogs and you can tell they really enjoy spending time with them.

This is a hard review to write because it is mixed AND I think it is location specific to Agoura and not the company as a whole because we have a VERY different experience at the Oxnard location (which I would give 5 stars).Our dog loves coming here and gets so excited to come here when we are telling him we are coming. He loves the pool and loves to play with other dogs. But, after being here a year I complained about a very rude staff member and shortly afterwards, we started getting notices that he plays too hard or has behavioral issues. When asked to explain the issues so we can correct them, the staff has never been able to describe to us what his behavior is, other than he has a high play drive. I asked to see video footage, they said they don’t have camera in the play yard (which is actually a concern now that I know). The Oxnard location never has a problem with him. We started noticing that when we got these notifications that it was the same girl bringing up that there are issues. we have had him around many other dogs and NEVER witnessed anything aggressive or bad about the way he interacted with other dogs.We decided to use Oxnard as much as we could because we were worried about him being expelled. We liked Oxnard better anyways because the facility is MUCH cleaner, the staff was much nicer, they are soooo much better at sending updates and report cards, and they miraculously never had any concern with our dog like Agoura has. Even when we asked Oxnard specifically about any concerns, they have none.The problem is that Agoura is closer and on the way to the airport. We needed to take a trip for the weekend and could not get to the Oxnard location and then to the airport in time so we had to choose Agoura. I told my husband I was worried about keeping him there on the overnight because I felt like he was going to get kicked out. Sure enough, the third day I got a call from them telling me he was no longer welcome there. I am bummed because he loves it.I was told by my dog walker/trainer that he has several other clients who voiced the same concern with their experience before they were terminated from being able to come. He felt it was a blessing in disguise that we needed to change because he said that “the Agoura location just doesn’t like dogs”, wants dogs with lower play drives and “my clients who do go there always end up with sick dogs. I just don’t recommend them.” We were even told by someone who used to work at multiple dioji locations that Agoura had a problem and encouraged me to try not to take him there if we could avoid it. I should have listened.My advice to everyone is go to Oxnard, better everything! But if Oxnard is too far, avoid it all together!

Our dog loves to go to Dioji. He is always so excited to go play and has no problems staying overnight. I love the report card and pictures that I receive while he is there.

Our Bailey can't get enough of this place! We've done the daycare and boarded her for a night here and it has always gone great. Every time we pull up to the parking lot our Bailey is already getting overly excited to get in (sorry Dioji staff lol). Staff is friendly, accommodating, and always professional. I know she's in good hands when I drop her off here and Bailey will be back very soon!

We LOVE Dioji. It’s one of the few places in the area that allows 7am drop off for daycare. They also have a fantastic pool which our dog, Bogle, is absolutely obsessed with. He’s always very tired from a long day of fun. I’m also so impressed with the staff. He used to go once a week but we hadn’t been in several months and they knew him by name right when we walked in the door. 5 stars all around!

Dioji AH is the BEST. Our pup is soooo happy here and can’t wait to come and we’re pretty sure is pretty sad the days he doesn’t get to. The staff are professional and friendly and supporting and just LOVE OUR DOG. Coming here has been so helpful for his socialization and we don’t think twice about boarding him. You and your pups will love it here.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dioji in Agoura. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They take great care of my boy, Finn. They keep me informed of his daily routine. I look forward to his daily report cards. I highly recommend Dioji for daycare or boarding needs.

Trust w/Dioji lost forever.Took 3.5 year old spayed dog who hasn’t ever as much bared her teeth at anyone: at vets, daycare, boarding or anywhere “tried to bite our staff and can’t be admitted”.(Looked extremely busy, likely overbooked and spouting lies as an excuse to fess up. Can’t ever trust them.)

My dog Duke loves Dioji. I usually drop him off in Agoura on my way to work in Santa Barbara Duke gets so excited as we approach Chesbrough a while back; I took Duke to SB with me because there's a Dioji in Santa Barbara. When we drove by Chesbrough, Duke became sad. Then I dropped him off at Dioji. He was super happy again. Now he is kind of ok with going past Chesbrough. He does give you the evil eye like he is saying, better drop me off at Dioji SB I'm going to trick him again and take him to Dioji in Goleta

This is a place where dogs can be dogs. No cages except for illness. They have a caring staff and sleep over atmosphere for the overnight stays. There is also a pool for those who like to swim.

The staff at Dioji is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about them. My dog is very anxious so I spent time looking at different facilities and after speaking to the staff here I know he’s in good hands!

Very happy to have found Dioji! We brought our beloved boy in for a short doggy daycare session to hopefully leave him somewhere safe.The kind staff and the facilities here are simply amazing. I thought this might be just a one-time thing, but I have a feeling that our boy is going to be spending time here whenever we need to do something that he can't participate in.Another super bonus is that it's right off, and right back on to the 101 in either direction at Agora Hills.The facility is great, with a pool and lots of shade and supervision. Let's face it though, the facility can be amazing, but what really makes it is the staff, and this staff seems top notch! We loved 'em!

From the outset let the staff know my dog was anxious about our relocating. The staff seemed accomodating - after the 3rd short day was told he was exhibiting potentially dangerous behavioraal issues - including barking at the gate to get out. What I noted was there was no limit the the dogs that are brought in per day - there's constant barking and I'm guessing not much attention from staff who seem to be walking around patroling. Have since found a daycare that he's comfortable with. I honestly don't understsand the rave reviews -

Went to Dioji and picked up Golden retriever for my kids. Staff friendly and concerned about health of Luna (the canine customer). My kids are repeat customers and Luna seems to enjoy her stay at Dioji.

Our dog loves going here! I know that she is in good hands whenever I drop her off at boarding. We have never had an issue. Once my dog wasn't feeling well and they even called to let me know. They will provide report cards for overnight guests. I would recommend 10/10

My dog has a blast here. The best part is not having to make a reservation in advance because as a working dog mom THINGS COME UP! It is such a relief to know that I can take my dog for day care without having to stress about calling and figuring that out.I love that they have a little pool for the small dogs. My baby always utilizes that!4 stars because I only received photos and report cards for the first few visits and I would really like to get more photos of her.*UPDATED TO 5 STARS* because Dioji resolved me wanting more photos immediately :) Just ask for pics and you shall receive!!Also extra points to the wonderful staff for always being so kind to me.

Best doggie day care in Agoura Hills! All staffs are wonderful & great with dogs. My sheltie Riley has been going there since he was 4 month old and just loves it. I love the fact that when I board him for overnights that he gets to sleep with the staff & other dogs in an open space, not in an kennel which makes me feel at ease to leave him there overnight.

Sad to say but an utter letdown. My family and I have used Dioji for 5-6 years and seen the service quality go down hill. My dogs recently boarded for 8 days and both picked up fleas, and one contracted an ongoing eye infection, along with visible scratches on his legs. I spent over $1700 on that visit and an additional $300 on medical bills. Dioji had refused to compensate me in any form beyond 3 day-cations, not even full days… I advise you do not take your dogs here, save yourself the extra bills and stress. I expected a lot more as a long time customer.

I love Dioji and so does my dog Baby! It’s like summer camp for her ! She makes friend and has so much fun! Plus they send me report cards every day and I get to see how much fun she is having 😍I always feel comfortable leaving her at Dioji….her home away from home 💗

Don't go to this place. As a tourist coming in from out of town, they would not accept my reservation until they met my 2 dogs for 2 hours after which they would advise me if they would take them or not - not a great business model for those traveling in and need to plan ahead. I can only surmise that they are not ready for any type of difficult situations since they can't even manage to deal with this type of circumstance.

My dog still hasn't recovered from this place. He keeps sleeping like he went through war. He got bit on the cheek and his paws are burned from their turf. They keep the dogs outside way to long especially in the heat. It should be illegal how many dogs they accept at once. Way to many dogs. All the staff does is oversee the dogs walking back and forth. They don't engage nor show love or play with them. Their quick to tell you all the negative things about your dog. I wanted him at a place without crates and didn't know they crated him alot. I don't recommend this place if your dog comes from a tentative loving family. Horrible!

This place rocks! Only been to the one in Agoura. Pricing? Seems fair - not too expensive, not too cheap. Never heard of dog fights, or any problems..... safe place for my Zoey!
