Family Dollar is good I needed to get Gas-X and antibiotic for one of my neighbors so I called and the lady that I talked to she said that they had it and I went and got it and the lady that was said cook for the check out she said that I was the one that she talked to on the phone and she was very helpful

Too many empty shelves, random items (not purchased by that customer) added to their list of purchases), dead mice left under BREAD shelves, PRICES ARE HIGHER THAN THE TAGS/LABELS SAY (food is secretly overpriced), 3 registers & only 1 cashier left to do all the work, inventory conducted during store's business hrs. (while customers are trying to shop/pay for their items in a timely manner) middle of isles (access to many items) obstructed by stacks of large boxes, innocent shoppers (regulars) falsely accused of shoplifting (the accusing cashier refuses to review surveillance feed despight claims of it containing the "proof" of the said accusations).

Great choices on inventory. This store packed full of great stuff. Some things are a bit pricy. The staff are always helpful abd kind, greeting with a hi and welcome.

This store is very close to my house so I find it extremely convenient I find the manager and the cashier's nice helpful Today I wanted to get some black out curtains and I got them I even found cute style

The manager Jenni or (Jenny) is very rude and does not have good customer service skills. I’m not sure how or why she is a manager at this store. I went there because I bought three iPhone chargers yesterday and the cashier told me that they came with a charging block for the wall but when my son and nephew opened theirs there was no charging block for the wall with the iPhone cords. Fast forward, I returned to the Family Dollar this morning in hopes of being made whole and getting 3 charging blocks for free because as I stated before the cashier on the previous day told me they came with one and they didn’t. The manager Jenny or (Jenni) came to the counter with an attitude and told me that she was off yesterday and did not know who it was that sold me the cords and told me that. She said she can’t give me three charging blocks for free and did not even attempt to rectify the situation she just had an attitude as if I was lying about it. She has no business in customer service if you have an attitude with your customers because your employee made a mistake. I’m wondering what kind of training has she gotten if any or if they just gave her this job because they had no one else to fill the position.On the other hand the cashier Ray was so pleasant and a breath of fresh air. Now he knows and understands great customer service. He was very polite and helpful and made sure he assisted us in anyway he could today. He needs a raise and be made employee of the month (Thank you so much Ray!!!!) and Jenni or (Jenny) needs extensive customer service training and needs to understand how to treat customers instead of throwing her weight around but is not a problem solver to any degree. I think problem solving is apart of her managerial responsibilities. But anyway. Family Dollar corporation please require the manager to take some more training as she to understand the true meaning of customer service, how it works and how she is supposed to treat and speak to customers.

Love the store and it's location. They won't hire me even though I applied 3xs lol. Not enough people working the registers when store is crowded. Update 4-30-2022, still not enough workers. Didn't see anyone other than one guy at register and the female manager. Their door glass is always boarded up. They need security because the store is in a perfect spot for shoppers. All else is fine except there are not enough workers.

Although I live in the neighborhood of this FD, I rarely visit, usually because not enough cashiers and the line is always long. Never can you run in get a couple of things and out. Now for the last 5-6months no change. If your total is $5.40 and you only have $6.00 they'll keep your .60 change (Not Mines). Have the NERVES to tell the cashier's to say that the Banks are getting rid of coins so that's why they don't have any (Really) A Million dollar company. I truly believe poor management. Someone needs to check into this cause believe me Problems are coming, you just can't take ppls hard earned Money 🤬🤬😡

Lots of cool items, great prices, excellent staff. Located in the hood, but its all good. You can watch people buy a sack, or steal bikes from the rack, all while shopping around for your kids favorite snacks😃

I really like coming to this Family Dollar. The staff is friendly and respectful. I would have given them 5 stars but there are never any baskets or bags. Other than that Im happy with the over all customer service and condition of the store.

Good stuff, fair prices.. but this store is always holding big lines. Not enough cashiers... store is always full of merchandise boxes blocking aisles, no shopping carts or baskets available. Need exact change to pay, shelfs are empty (not well stocked) Starting to get frustrated at this location.

I love this store. The people who work there have become family and really about there customers. I would like to thank Melinda for doing such a good job and having what I need every week. Shes kind, caring and goes the extra mile. Other stores could use a little of her in them. Thanks a million you guys rock!

The store is pretty well stocked most of the time the only problem is there's always pallets down the aisles and you can't get down the aisles to shop it's very annoying and it makes the store look very Junkie the staff is very kind the store just needs a few tweaks.

This family dollar was not a good one. The store has small isles no baskets or carts. On top of it a lady that worked there was rude. Kept saying keep your children with you my child was next to me. Either way I felt her watching me not cool! She just had major attitude. I will not shop there again.

Great place, and the stuff there was pretty inexpensive. One thing to note, is some of the shopping carts have busted wheels. I overheard the employees talking about doing something about them, though.Also the jelly beans they have there are quite good.

I would love the store, however it is so difficult yo maneuver around the store with a wheelchair. Everything is in the isles and blocking everything that it is nearly impossible to get through. Definitely not handicapped equipped. They have good sales and coupons on the app.

Always a line at register and one employee is helpful. Another will not bring out container of small batteries probably so she won't mess up her outrageous finger nails. Then chats with her friend while everyone else waits.

As a store they serve their purpose, because of the location popular and cheap items tend to run out of stock quickly between shipments. Lines during late afternoon into the evenings are atrociously long but management does the best they can considering the pool of local employees they have to choose from.

This store is always a mess!!! The employee's are rude.. how do they expect you to shop there when they have no baskets!! So if ur going in there to buy more than what you can hold make sure you bring another person with you.. oh yeah don't forget to bring your own bags as well because they never have bags either... Someone really needs to get this store together...

While purchasing some clothing items at the Adelanto store on Bartlett Rd., I asked the sales clerk if I could return anything that does not fit and was told that I could as long as the tags were still attached and I kept my receipt. I purchased several items. Only one item did not fit properly, but when I attempted to return it the next day, the clerk, Alexandra, was not there. I spoke to Alix, who said she was the asst mgr and was told that sale items are not returnable. I explained that the store clerk specifically told me the day before that all my purchases were returnable. Alix spoke to her manager, I did not catch her name, and she also denied my return even though I followed the clerk's instructions. No signs were posted in the store that explained any special return policy...or a deviation from their corporate policy.Later, I phoned Family Dollar corporate office and a recording while you wait on hold explains that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and directs the customer to the website for a complete description of the policy.I took this information back to Family Dollar store in Adelanto, and even provided the corporate phone number and let Alix see the satisfaction guarantee on their website using my phone, but she said her manager would not allow her to accept the return of sale items. She said i needed to discuss it with her store manager.I live more than 20 minutes away from this store. The shirt i purchased was marked $10, but sold for $6. Nothing on the shirt nor any sign near the clothing racks indicated it was on sale...only after i purchased it did I discover it was marked down.I phoned Family Dollar and emailed them about this. It has been three weeks and have not received a response. It was only $6, but if the store manager will not honor corporate policy, and will not empower her asst mgr to follow what is clearly corporate policy or stand by what their employees tell customers...I am leery of spending my money there.I do not recommend shopping at this particular Family Dollar store.

They always have boxes 8n the isles it's not wheel chair friendly at all they looking for a law suite that's 5he best way to get them boxes are always falling when 8 go in the store with my wheel chair but the staff is nice at times and polite

As of today date this store is one of the worst stores in Adelanto. I can say the only reason I go to the store it's a few feet or yards closer. The store is a hazard to navigate through, because the employees stack stuff in the middle of the Isles, the shopping carts don't work and I said carts you'll be lucky to find one or two probably that won't turn right or left when you trying to go straight. They have the worst customer service. And another lost art form is bagging items. I am a stickler when it comes to my bread putting in the same bag with hard items and sometimes if you're not careful they will put food items in the same bag as chemical items you know like bleach Pine-Sol washing detergent Etc. I believe the corporation and it's just my opinion they put the store in a ghetto neighborhood and once they find out it's a ghetto neighborhood they start putting people in their wood ghetto attitudes. don't get me wrong all the employees they are not bad but the majority are and I feel a lawsuit is coming because of the way they arrange their stores. As I stated earlier it's a hazard to just walk through there someone or some child is going to get hurt in that store. And you heard it from me first. I'm walking the extra yards to Dollar General in Adelanto

You want people who work in retail to talk down to you then this is the store for you. Also the customers that shop here are super ghetto. Police station next door yet theft is high. Don’t get robbed or stabbed and go to Walmart.

Had a propane exchange, Manager Melinda wouldn't take it because it had rust on my used tank. Poor customer service for being a manager. For everyone's safety the tank should be exchanged and not try to refill.My tank went empty while BBQing so decided to go to my local "family dollar" and what a disappointment. You don't mess with my meat, Melinda.Anyways, went to Wal-Mart and exchanged it for half the price and less hassle.
