Only lumber place in town so if it’s an aEmergency by all means if it’s sone they have to order go to joneboro or Memphis. Orders get lost or not placed or don’t come in on time. Prices r higher since the tornado. Pretty much consistent with any other business owned by the Caldwell family.

This place is a true "Home Town Store." each employee knows you and talks to you as if we are at a social gathering. They are about good business and helping the customer with their needs. If they do not have what you are looking for, they are more than willing to tell you of other local stores that may have what your looking for, Like Grams hardware. The price are as good in Caldwell Lumber as it is in any lumber yard and it's close to home. Service with a smile, a joke, or just straight forward they are true to a Home shopping Experience.

Went to Caldwell lumber to get paint. They have a variety of colors and paint is good. A little pricey but it covers in 1 coat. Other places take 2-3 coats to their one coat paint. We got a bright teal color that's gonna be perfect for the little ladies room we are redoing for her. She doesn't know we are doing it either. Trimming it with white. Gonna look so awesome. Thankyou Caldwell lumber for ur products and services. It all makes it so much easier to complete. Quick and great customer services for sure.

I love going to Caldwell. While they do not have as much as Lowes or Home Depot they much better than in the past. I think everyone in Cross County should stop in as see the improvements that have been made.

They have ice.... But they aren't near as friendly or helpfull as most Hometown Ace's that I visit throughout the country. I needed some small wire, just to wrap around another large wire, they couldn't wait to send me off somewheres else. They get 2 stars because they are an Ace, other wise it would have been a 1 🌟.
