This was my first visit to Big Star. I was referred to shop here by an associate that lives in West Memphis. I was not disappointed. As the prices continue to rise on groceries, it feel like a got a great deal on meats compared to Memphis and Southaven. I will visit again

If you need a good ribeye and want it cut 1.75" or 2" thick ,this is the place to go. Customer service is awesome. Kroger told me they don't slice ribeyes,this guy asked me how many,in and out with 10 sliced and wrapped in 10 minutes or less

The store gets a 4...but they Deli//Hot food bar gets an F....on Friday 2.26.21...the hubby bought fish...not sure what kind😬 it was AWFUL...OLD and smashed into the To go box along with onion rings...broken trash...no whole rings and baked beans...still hungry...please !Un-eatableNicely stocked... helpful cashier!

Go here to buy meat. It's way less expensive then at Walmart or Kroger to. Some other items are less expensive but meat most importantly is. I've never had a complaint when I buy it from here either.

Ladies in the deli make amazing food..desserts..breakfast..everyone is really nice and helpful.Beautiful birthday cakes..tastes like a expensive bakeryCheckout ladies are always helpful and nice.. ask for a bag of crushed ice..its better than sonic.

Walmart and Kroger better watch out. Every buggy you get in Big Star works properly, the appearance of the store overall is nice and clean and I can always find what I need or want there. Also always have someone to check you out and not wait forever.

new 15 pound propane bottles outside this store had a $45 price sticker but once paid for the reciept shows $57. this store is price gouging knowing a winter storm in comming the management could not care less about anything except filling his/her pockets.i wish someone could have the thief arrested so they spend a few days in a cold jail cell to think about their selfish wants.

Awesome customer service, Food delicious cook or not cook food, All meat always fresh even the lunch meat, Respectful great people works there. I don't know none of these people I just move this way. But I shop at Big Star almost everyday.

Not a huge selection of produce but they have an amazing deli with daily specials on hot lunches. The chicken strips are always fresh and so juicy! Employees during the day are friendly and helpful. Evening shift seems to be mostly high school kids not wanting to be there.

Gene Stimson's Big Star is the last of its kind . Its a grocery store that treats it's customer with respect and courteousness. It's employees are the best. Their helpful and they always assist you with a smile. You are able to find brands in this store that aren't available in other stores. Although the price on some of it's item may be a little pricey. The service you receive here makes it worth it.

place looks a little dirty and run down on the inside. produce is inferior in quality, and often expensive. (1.50 for a single green pepper... seriously) but they do regularly have cheap meat. the staff however always seems nice and friendly to me, and it is easy to find what you need in the store.

I love this store because it's convenient and the employees are friendly and helpful to me. I think prices are good on some items but too high on some. I went to Cash and Save, they're prices are better than any other store I've ever visited

I only go to Gene Stimson's Big Star on occasion for minor purchases and the Deli. The staff are very friendly and courteous. If you're not familiar with where items are in the store they are more than "HAPPY" to help you find things.👍😃😷

We go to Big Star at least twice a week the only problem is when they bring boxes out to stock and they are in your way.Had to go to Big Star to get a few things today the shelves looked empty down different isles seems like prices keep going up

Nice mom and pop store. Sackers take your groceries to your car (they don't expect tips but you should give them a dollar anyways ☺️) - prices are fair, deli and meat Dept are always helpful and friendly!

One of my main stores that I shop at.. Most of their stuff is pricey...! But they have quite a few sales too!! And a lot of the staff are very, very nice!! Not management so much, but several cashiers, baggers, and the deli workers... At least from my experience there....

I've been going there about 10 years some of the people that stay there a long time very friendly very helpful the store is clean the managers help you out better than going to Walmart in those places this is more like a neighborhood place we see somebody that you know in there

I like this one better than the other one on the black side of town. Same store ran differently. Even tho I love Me. Robinson at the East Big Star and everyone that works there just a different feel.
