This store is filthy!!! Corporate you need to get in there and clean up. Floors do not look like have been mopped this year. I hate to even complain because the 2 employees look overwhelmed and unhappy. I hope you will get in there and see. I love DG but not filth. Looks nothing like pics shown here

I love this location mainly because of the store manager, Mr. Newberry! He is fantastic. Always hard working, trying to keep the store clean & stocked. And he is so genuinely nice & has great customer service! He is always asking about my family, creating conversation! He deserves a huge raise!

This store is a mess, every time I go in. I literally, drive across town because the other Dollar General, although not in the "good" part of town, is much cleaner and organized and the employees dont look as dirty. Either move to a new location, close for good, or clean up. 1 of the 3 should as soon as possible. Also, whenever I decide to stay and go ahead with my purchase, there is always a 15 to 20 minute wait no matter how many customers you have. FYI, it's right around the corner from where I live, less than 1 minute to get there.

My experience here was lacking good, professional customer service. I went inside to purchase clearanced items and a few other goods. Clearance shelves had regularly priced items on it. I used the DG app to check prices. I went to check out. The employee scanned a few of the Halloween items I had, stopped, started texting on the phone. He scanned a couple of more items and got on the phone again this time it was to make a few calls to other Dollar Generals. He said pull your Halloween stuff penny shoppers are out. Wow. Three customers were waiting behind me. I put my phone number in to get a digital coupon off for gum I was buying. Then I gave two manufacturer's coupon for the two toothpaste I was buying. He scanned it and put in his coupon slot in the register. He said let me see the toothpaste. I searched the bags, found it gave it to him. He searched the monitor screen then told me you bought the $1 3D white toothpaste and your coupon is for $2 off. I said ok. I expected him to let me go get the one he wanted me to have or take off the toothpaste and give me my coupons back. I heard mumbling so it was unclear. I paid for the items, got my receipt, and heard more mumbling as I left. I am a regular shopper of Dollar General Store. I expected respect and just decent common courtesy.

I ABSOLUTELY love their Monday thrue Friday Morning Store Manager. He is EXTREMELY professional, Helpful and Inviting. This is the ONLY Dollar General I actually like going to. I will visit This store before I visit Walmart

I guess I must need to update myself to today's types of employees...? Customer service must be a thing of the past....! I'm standing in an, already long line, and there is only one register open!!! And the cashier is holding a conversation with a customer that is in front of me.... An extended conversation!!! No regard for the rest of us in line...! Then finally another cashier comes up and gets on the other register, and motions for her friend to come over to her side to check out.... Wow!!! She waited till she was done with her before she calls out that she is now open on her register....! Really!!!!! No consideration AT ALL for the rest of us who I am sure wanting to hurry up and go on with our day too!!!!! Is this type of customer service now the norm???? I refuse to believe that!!!!!

It's crowded in the aisles. There always seems to be a long line because they only utilize one cash register. The cashiers are usually really nice though.

I like all of the employees, they are very professional, especially with the amount they are paid. No, I don't have any relatives that work there and actually I am very comfortable when I am there, east side store is exactly the same, white boy that believes in equality!!!!!!!;;;;

Some of the staff is friendlier than others. My last trip the cashier stayed on the phone and didnt even say thank you or have a nice day.

Casheir was the rudest employee I have ever encountered... Customers were waisting her time... Hey lady you are the employee and we are the customers... It's our money that pays you an hourly wage... I wish now I would have gotten her name...

This is the worst dollar general I have been to. The cashier had to worst attitude and the associate on the floor wasn't much better. Will never go there again!!!

All of the stores seem to be junked and trashy here lately. Any employee you ask as to why they are always like this, you get the same response. Hours are cut to a bare minimum and the stores are being neglected.
