Visits by appointment as they should be. Kelly met me at the door during a pouring down rain. She is a "one man" operation and handles it well. She brought "Moosh" up to the office for me to see. She had a friendly and welcoming attitude and allowed me to visit for as long as I wanted. An easy 5 stars for her and the Ward Animal Shelter.

So I'm in the process of moving out of Cabot to ward and my cat I can't take with me we've been looking everywhere for somewhere to take him so I went ooking online and found this place in ward. read the reviews and though highly of them so I came today walked up a lady came out side and she was rude to me did not ask me a thing about him or my situation or wanted to listen. She just said to me where's he from I said Cabot but we are moving to ward I tried to explain my situation she did seem to want to listen just kept going on about how they can't deal with Cabot but I have moved to ward and in the process of moving. So was not at all impressed with this place.

Awesome place to hang out and play with puppies and cats. Great people that work here also.

As I was dropping my kids off at school I noticed 3 dogs that escaped from the shelter due to the fence having a huge gap in it and not being locked. They where almost hit bye several cars! My husband and I then got out of our vehicle and proceeded to put them back in the fence and fix the fence the best we could to keep them in. This place is obviously not safe for your animals. I'm just happy people wher mindfull and slowed down today. so if ur dog gets out and is taken to this shelter just kno it might be the last time u see ur animals due to the poorly ran facility. 😔

When I called to ask questions about donating things to the shelter for the puppies, kittens, ect. I was given all information needed to do so. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Not impressed. Called twice police department answers takes all my info and then i never received a call back.
