Chubby Cheeks is MORE than a wine and liquor store. It is a community landmark and fixture. Everybody that works there knows a customer that walks in. Their wine section is really large and they section off the wines by countries and continents, so if you want Soju from South Korea, it's easy to find. They are extremely open in allowing companies to come and do tastings at their Awesome and big wine bar. Lane, the owner, is a fantastic boss and be interacts with customers, regularly. Diedra, the GM, is SO knowledgeable about not only products, but when is the best time of year, based on customer traffic, to actually sample different times of alcohol. Also, their prices for everything are very reasonable.

Just because you’re strategically located doesn’t mean you can treat first time customers rudely. Congratulations to the woman at the register who couldn’t be bothered to tell us where the mixers were. No one who cares acts like she did. You might think about putting the signs in a place where they’re at eye level. Not a smile to be had here. Don’t worry, we won’t be back. Avoid this overpriced trap.

Super excited to finally have found a cannabis infused beverage, ended up grabbing a couple 4 packs to try. they have a large variety of craft beer, but super curious about this Lark, looks awesome.

Friendly spot. Friendly enough that is. I dropped by as I was traveling through on the way to Houston. I was looking for something that's hard to find in Houston and based on an internet search these guys were supposed to have it. They ran out of what I was looking for but told me when they do have it that it's at limited purchase. They did have another that was limited but sold me 2 vs the 1 limit per customer. The young girl there didn't want to sell me but 1 but an older gentleman took over the sale and sold me 2. He indeed became my hero. Please also note that as a traveler they do NOT allow you to use their restroom. They say it's not for public use because they have had issues with some locals there. I think it's rude not to allow guests who are spending money there not to use your restroom. I get the caution for those just coming in to use it, but for paying customers, you need to ease off on that. You're only rushing paying customers off from spending even more money. 🤷🏽‍♂️Flush and Prosper!

The staff seemed friendly but unfortunately this place price gouges their rare bottles. It's nice finding businesses that aren't in the habit of taking advantage of their customers through allocated bottles and this places isn't one of those businesses. But, if you're not looking for allocated finds, I'm sure you can get everything else at a normal-ish price.

Best selection around! Really worthwhile establishment. The atmosphere is a bit crowded however the workers are friendly and will help you navigate your way to whatever your looking for.

Passing through Texarkana so had to pickup some Coors beer! If not for Chubbys' would have had to consider breaking into Coors distributor! It was only 1250 miles there and 1250 miles back!

Employees are rude beyond belief even though I've shopped here for years. Employees offer no help whatsoever and don't know where anything is. The ones that have been here a long time are rude to the point that it's laughable. I suspect they run off a lot of help because they have new cashiers every week. The selection just isn't worth the irritation.

Fast, convenient ( just off l-state 30). The people who work here are friendly and know the inventory. The night manager is wonderful and goes out of his way to accommodate and always with an exceptionally dilligent attitude. The prices are some of the lowest in town and they offer wine at 20% off on Wednesdays and offer a 20% discount to America's Veterans and Active Military.This has become my favorite store for spirits.

Great selection, specifically craft beer. Great single barrel pick of Knob Creek (I've had 5 of the #5401 and look forward to future picks). Prices are fair as well. Friendly staff.
