The store manager was completely unprofessional and rude about me simply needing two dollars back in quarters out of my $10 cash back. She made snide comments about how I’m lucky she even had a roll of quarters in the drawer and only said she could do $1. I understand money is hard to come by in the drawer as I used to be a dollar general associate, but that kind of display was unnecessary especially since I wasn’t being out of line at all. I even said, I don’t usually use manned checkout because I have social anxiety but I needed specific cash back. I probably won’t shop there again. And it’s sad because I actually enjoy that store on the rare occasion that I go.. I don’t remember her name but she had store manager sewed into her shirt and was acting like that.. that’s pretty sad. All I can do is describe how she looked, she had a bob hair cut with bangs and it was blonde. She was also wearing glasses but I even tried to get out of the situation by going to self checkout for my second transaction and she insisted I checked out with her but it was just very awkward and embarrassing for me because I wasn’t being disrespectful and even tried to be understanding and respectful of the fact it’s Sunday and they don’t have much money in the drawer but the disrespect felt dehumanizing in the moment. It may not sound like much of an issue but you’d have to be there to hear the harsh tone in her voice as she spoke. It’s like cutting someone with a hateful tone . Idk I’m not usually one to report or leave bad reviews either retail is so hard. But I don’t even act like that with my customers as my work place.

I've been here multiple times for a purchase here & there & have never been called out on my daughter for not wearing shoes. An employee that decides to give unwanted parenting advice vs encouraging a toddler to wear shoes. Alls it does it make this place look like the trashy joke it is. I'll take my small purchases back to Walmart. Don't be ridiculous.

This is a clean store with friendly employees. You can get in and out quickly when they are not busy but when they are you'll be there awhile. They never have had more than one person checking out customers when I've been there. And during peak hours like after work there are 15-20 people standing in line. They could do better on scheduling cashiers.

It's like they no longer accept cash no one attends the register.I asked about the self checkout, they said self checkout only accept card. I proceeded to wait at the register to pay with cash for at least 5 minutes while there were two associates within 10 ft of me, but no one seemed to want to check me out. I had to abandon my purchase.

New store, about a year old. Nice layout, clean, and well stocked with a large variety of products, including a refrigerated/frozen food section. Employees are always very polite and helpful. We can usually find what we need, and much faster to get in and out than Walmart!

My husband and daughter went in to DG today to get a few items. And were told by the night manger shelby to put stuff back where they belong but with a mad tone which they were looking at the item because they were trying to buy it.

Store is new. I was pleasantly surprised at their inventory. They have a large assortment of items, including necessities and beyond for 4-legged family members, quick snacks and drinks, as well as last minute or forgotten groceries.They're open late enough and are easy to find on Cheri Whitlock Drive.

The aisles were so narrow and there were crates all over the place. I didn't find ANYTHING I needed either. I've been to this store before and it was always clean. It reminded me of the dollar store in Gentry!

Always stocked & clean. I never see the help just standing around. The bathroom is very clean as well as their coolers. I wish this dollar general was in my town. It is under great management.

The store is very cluttered and the employees don't listen to you. The music is so loud in there you can barely hear yourself think. The shelves are not stocked & it's been that way since they've opened I'm not at all impressed. This is a brand new store & should be better kept.

The cashier was rude and crude. Never smiled, never said thank you. Got hateful with me when I told her a item rang up more than it was marked. Told me it's the price it rang up. Didn't like it because I said I didn't want it then.

Prices are fine, but it's a little sad when the customer has to get the product the need off of a top shelf (the one your supposed to get help with) because the employee refuses to even go look/help despite being told needed item is up there. A little retraining would definitely help and feels needed.

Gosh I could go on and on about how poorly kept this brand new dollar general is. They do not keep enough staff on hand to run the store. Today there was 1 employee. One. And she did not have time to do anything but run the register. The isles are always so full of stock that you can't see anything on the shelves, if the shelves even have anything on them. The bacon was expired and rotten. Do you know how long it takes BACON to rot?? Like months. The store manager needs FIRED IMMEDIATLEY. This is horrible to wish on someone, but obviously after months and months of this place looking like it does, drastic measures are needed. Staff is friendly, if they come out of the manager's office.

This store was a hot mess, went on Monday and they were sold out of a lot of things and no one was restocking store. Shelfs were a mess and got my laundry soap and it was covered with dust. Checker was not very friendly, felt like I was a bother, she never spoke till I was leavivg.
