Friendly service from staff and checks on customers with a smile. I didn't catch the ladies name but seemed she might be a manager. If she's not, she should be! Great looking store with items neatly stocked and some things were out of stock but I've found that at every DG I go to. A lot of new items to select from and the set up is great. First DG market I've been in and I was impressed!

The shelves are always bare. The day I went in there was a black lady that was very pleasant and made sure she gave me a warm welcom to the store but she was the cashier, the stocker, the customer service, and everything else. The 20 minutes I spent in there walking down empty aisle I never saw another employee. She was working hard and the line was constantly long. They need to get her some quality help. That store looked like an empty wasteland dump. Nothing was on the shelves anywhere.

The people who work here are amazing. But they're overworked and more than likely underpaid. And that is the only reason I gave it three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Often times the shelves aren't stocked because they don't have enough people to keep up with the amount of business they get.

This is the worst managed dg store i have ever been too. Always low on almost everything. The only good about it is the employees. I live not far from this store and shop there alot because closeness but I've gotten to where I'll drive further to next dollar general or somewhere else.

Larger store than many of the other DG stores near by, so it has wider selection of items. It is messy, the employees are often short bc they are understaffed & the turn over rate is extremely high. Management is not any better at customer care nor friendliness.

This store sucks! They are never stocked with anything it’s like they never get a truck or something!!! The management at the store is non existent stood in line for 13mins because the manager was outside doing god knows what when the self service machine was acting up!! This is the biggest DG in Sherwood. There is no reason this store shouldn’t operating at peak standards at least a lot more than it is now!

I love going into this store!!! Renee is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! It doesn't matter what kinda day i am having SHE ALWAYS makes me smile! And if I'm having a bad day she's always willing to lend am ear!!! Mostly the other employees are lovely as well.... But Renee, SHE'S THE BEST!

Is this a DG or a trash dump? This has to be the absolute worst location I've ever visited. I was going to take some pictures of how nasty this place was, but couldn't stick around long enough amidst all the trash everywhere. Hopefully someone in the Dollar General Quality, Standards or Appearance categories will take heed and investigate. Sad to see as I generally prefer going to DG over Walmart, etc...

They don't allow backpacks but anybody with a backpack sized purse is allowed. It's always clean for the most part but it's absolutely dreadful how some of the employees act. No matter what time you arrive there they only seem to have 1 employee per 5 people waiting at check out. The absolutely refuse to have more than 1 check out during rush hour.

Came into pick up a few items. The store was clean and well maintained 🤗🤗🤗🤗 The line was extremely long. When I was ready to check-out. Ms. Renee came to our rescue 👍👍👍👍 Her assistance with crowd control. Made for a great shopping experience for all !!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍

I would never admit I was a manager over this store. I've never gone in there that it didnt look like a bomb went off. And the shelf ate all was empty of products. There needs to be a firing going on starting with managment and work the way down

Disgusting store inside. Trash and items throughout each isle and at unused registers. Cashier never spoke to any customer checking out. I took pictures, but no where to upload them. Such a shame this is in our neighborhood.

Austin Dollar General has the most friendly employees! The only problem I have found is a lack of employees during the busiest shifts. This is true for any DG I’ve ever visited. DG employees seem to be pulled so many different directions. They are overworked. It isn’t fair. DG can definitely afford to hire more employees.

I come in here frequently. Almost daily. I have kept a lot of unsettling behaviors from staff to myself. Renee needs to either be replaced or sent to a customer service seminar that works on her mouth and her attitude. Not only have I had the misfortune of having to deal with it in person, but over a span of months, I have seen her treat customers like garbage. If she can't handle the stress of the job and maintain composure, she needs to be replaced. It's not cute. You look bad over the way she treats customers.

I'm a regular customer of D.G. Why I rated it a 3 is that they don't restock their shelves very often. They always have long lines with only one person working the line. The D.G.on the Gp is often not working. The parking lot is littered as well. I would go to another D.G. oranothet store but this D.G.is close to where I live at.

I can't wear a mask so was told i could not enter unless I could give a reason why I can't wear one. Hippa violation. Just wanted to let everyone know. Also the cashier was extremely rude when he told me to leave. Will NEVER enter a Dollar General again.

Stood line for 30 minutes because I didn't want to drive to Wal Mart. It was an embarrassing seen, the little girl working actually told a co worker that she had the line that was around the store, that this was under control not to mention that it was "good" as he left... i wish that I have gone to Walmart, saved the money and time. The funny thing? I don't like Walmart.

Closest thing to a grocery store in the neighborhood. A lifesaver if you're out of something time sensitive, and dont want to trek all the way to JFK or McCain. Reasonably good prices (very good for their generic brand), and friendly, competent employees.

Closest place to get random things without having to go to the big box stores. I would give it more stars but there's never enough cashiers and the place always seems messy as they surely dont have enough workers to keep things neat.

Great store to visit for a quick trip. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is usually helpful if you ask for assistance. I will definitely be going back to this store any time I just need to grab a few items.

This store is literally down the street from another Dollar General there even on the same side of the road. With that being said, no lines to wait in or crowded store ever. A box 📦 or two maybe sitting around on the floor with mystery items.

It was a little messy due to the seasonal items being changed out but I got an awesome deal on some x-mas clearanced ribbons and bows box sets, regular $3, sale price $0.90.

Insanely HORRIBLE service. 10+ customers in a single register line, one employee (shift mgr) NOT assisting w/checkout and not a single word from the cashier--no "did you find everything you need?", "your total is $__", "thanks!". NOT ONE WORD.

Good selection of merchandise however they only use 1 checkout line, most of the time. It causes a long line and takes a long time to checkout. The line is always long here.
