Terrible terrible place. Shady experience and shady business practices. Don’t tell you that membership auto renews plus my son went in there and spent $35 of his own money and then tried to take it back the next day because it was so terrible, they offered him eight dollars for it. Eight dollars for a one day old game. They don’t have much of a selection at all, especially anything with two players. The employees don’t care. He just stood there and stared at me and said do you want to do it or not. I don’t know how people who work their sleep at night. Every time we go in there, they’re horsing around behind the counter, unless they’re there alone and when they are alone, they have better things to do than help customers. I will never step into this place again as long as I live.

This company has gone down the toilet. No longer can you use your Pro Rewards $5 coupon on gift cards, you also aren't allowed to use it on pre-orders. They took this away about a month ago with no announcement whatsoever. Really shady and gross. Guess I'll buy all my gaming stuff on Amazon now. Thanks for taking my money, and screwing me over. My brother and I will both not be renewing our Memberships.

Never seem to have games in stock. Poor used selection. Place is messy. Depending on when you come in you can get good service or employees that play around behind the counter.

Beware of their scam auto renewal Pro Rewards membership. I shopped a year ago before last Christmas. Signed up for the Pro Rewards membership but did not know it was an auto renewal. Got an email around end of November saying I would be charged again 12/24. Sent an email to their support email telling her to cancel. Took over 2 weeks for them to reply. She said I had never activated it so they could not cancel until I activated it. Asked her how to activate it and she replied I should just go to a store. That was on 12/12. I replied this was a scam and wanted a corporate number to file a complaint. No reply. Went to a store in TX on 12/21 while I was visiting family. That guy called their hotline. They walked me through how to activate it in the store. Then cancelled the auto renewal membership under the email I had used then signed me up for a 1 year complimentary membership under a different email and gave me coupons to use. And now on 12/24 I was charged for the auto renewal membership! Still no reply from their “support” email so I called their support number and it’s over a 30 minute wait! Guy in the TX store confirmed a lot of people were unaware of the auto renewal because store staff didn’t tell them. Sounds like a potential legal situation to me. So now I’m heading back to the Searcy store to get this taken care of but if there are any more of you out there who have had to waste time and effort dealing with this nonsense, I would encourage you to file a BBB complaint at the very least. I realize this is all over $15 and usually I’d just work to get my money back but this whole thing seems set up to make GameStop millions of dollars and make it almost impossible to cancel this thing. I signed up for something I didn’t want, wasn’t aware of, never activated, never used, but have to activate in order to cancel or they will charge me even if I never activate it? Done with GameStop.

Item was shipped as SFS from this location. Employee did not put game in box. Contacted support and was told they could not refund or replace the game. Out $50 for a game I didn't even receive.

My fiancee and I needed to sell our PS4 to get money to get him a phone card and the necessary things we need. Well when he went in the lady there banged the PS4 on the counter top of the glass and said it was a bug shell that came out of it. No it was dust. We never had bad experiences with bugs before so we know it was not bug shells. I dont like this place thinking they are better than their customers and knows what is what when it isnt.

I really like our local GameStop for a few different reasons. One of which is that they do have a great selection of products. Secondly they have outstanding customer service and are always prompt about fixing a problem. Their employees are pretty knowledgable about upcoming events and release dates and don't mind entertaining awkward conversations between their knowledge thirsty customers like myself who could've easily just googled the topic. I guess there is something about Han interaction. Overall the store manager Chris is an awesome guy and he runs a great store. I am a frequent member and solid supporter.

The empolyees here constantly harass you to buy junk you dont need or want and then try to make you feel bad when you dont take their pathetic offers. They also seem to have terrible stock, cuz just about every time I'm looking for something they should most definitely have, they never seem to have it.....

The service was all right but I traded in a $60 copy of Red Dead and only got $20 really did not see anything or wanted in there nothing in there was cheap like other game stores and lost three of my pre-orders

We will NOT go back to this store! EVER! We have spent $$$$ in this store. Went there tonight for the Nintendo Switch launch and were treated terribly. My son, 15, was first in line. 2 other people come in and start talking with the employees. Next thing we know someone who has worked there for years comes to the front counter and tells my son the only way he'll get a Switch is if one of the other 2 guys credit cards don't work!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Completely disappointed! We left to say the least.... Went to Walmart. Much nicer ppl. He was 2nd in line and got the Switch. Shame on you GameStop.

On Monday, we purchased a 250 dollar, refurbished PlayStation for our son to open on Christmas morning. It doesn't work. I have one very sad and disappointed child on what should be a very happy day.

So yesterday, I wanted to purchase 2 Xbox one systems one for my oldest son's room the other for my youngest 2 son's room and was told that Gamestop isn't allowed to sell more than one of the same system to a customer. They wouldn't even sell one to me and one to my husband in separate transactions. Now anyone who has kids knows if I had only purchased one system there would have been a major fight about it. We wanted to treat the kids for doing well in school this past year and finally had the money to do something big for them. We also all as a family enjoy playing Monster Hunter World together and thought if we had 2 more systems (we already had 2 other Xbox one systems, one for my husband and one that he bought for me that the kids played on. We wanted them to have their own system so we could all play monster Hunter world together at the same time) so since Gamestop refused to make one heck of a sale, we took our money to Wal Mart and purchased 2 systems there. Doubt we will ever buy from Gamestop again because of this. Also we purchased a Nintendo 3ds for my youngest son. Yes I understand it was refurbished however it was pretty beat up looking and when we got home and charged it, turned it on and the volume doesn't work on it. So we have to take it back today. I have purchased refurbished systems from Gamestop before and never had a problem, but not this time. Needless to say I am not a happy customer right now.

Won't have a midnight release for Smash Bros because the local Christian college has a curfew. Every other store in the district is having one because this is the biggest Switch release of the year. I now have to drive 40 minutes through the rain to go to the next closest store. This will be my last preorder with GameStop.

Overall experience while browsing their games and store, I would give 10/10 rating. Wide variety of new generation games, as well as last generation (PS3, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, and DS/DSi). However a few problems I had with the store was that they did not sell older versions of games (PS2/1, Xbox).
