This place is SUPER cool. Has a lot of books and even some dvds and other old types of entertainment. You are allowed to see if by the pound or by the box is cheaper before purchase and the man up front was super informative and helpful. Will definitely go back for all my bulk book buying needs.

Exactly what it sounds like! A large warehouse that is full of books. Surprisingly well-organized and very clean. Grab a basket and load it up. They also have a number of different music formats, including cassette, CD, and vinyl. The books are all in good shape. Huge selection of kids' books as well. Restrooms and places to sit. I feel like they wouldn’t mind if you grabbed a book and stayed awhile.

Pretty cool spot off the main drag. They literally sell books for $1.75 per lb. Also have dvd, cd’s and other items.

The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain how they price the books and how they are organized. My only real criticism is that while they had most of the books sorted into genres, there was a large selection thrown into a “male author”and “female author” category. It felt like they didn’t really know what genre they belonged to and so they just threw them in a group based on the author, which just felt a little careless. However, the overall experience was fantastic and I will definitely go back in the future!

this is just a cool place! It is almost overwhelming the amount of books they have. If you’re looking for it more than likely, it’s there, it may be at the bottom of a bin, but that’s OK. Just get in there and start digging and find that book! In the age we live in now, everything Hass to be digital but there’s just something about the feel and smell of a book that makes it all better! When in Searcy, make a point to stop by and buy a couple of pounds of books.

What a treasure!! This place is packed full of books, is aesthetically beautiful, and full of comfy seating areas. And you can't beat the prices! I bought 7 pounds of books for $10, which was 15 books for my classroom library! I can't wait to go back!

O WOW!! Been wanting to check this place out and it did not disappoint. We got a box crammed with books for $30! They also have CDs, DVDs, children's books and even a nice homeschool section.

This place wasn't what I thought it would be. The books are organized by category ONLY and are NOT alphabetized by author, which was really disappointing. I honestly thought there would be more "recent" romance books from at least the past 5 years, but no. All of it was really old stuff from the 80s/90s/00s with maybe a newish one here or there. We drove nearly 3 hours to leave disappointed without having made a purchase. The building itself is clean and spacious, but the selection for relevance was subpar. If you are just looking to fill your bookshelves with Danielle Steele/Nora Robert's oldies, then they have what you want. The children's section looked fantastic though and they also have tons of DVDs.

It really is a treasure hunt! They have almost anything (book, magazine, comic, movie, or album)you might want or need! It's separated into categories but other then that good luck! Lol it's a lovely place, I haven't left empty handed yet! I love going there! There's something there for everyone you just gotta find it! ✌️

We really enjoyed this store! If you’re going to purchase a fair number of books, do the box of books for $30.My only complaint is that the books are not well organized. I went in looking for a particular book. I wouldn’t have been upset if it wasn’t there. But I left not knowing if it was there or not.The staff were very kind and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

I like the concept of books by the pound. And to be fair they have a substantial collection of books. The down side to this location is that there is no real method to book location. They have labels on most of the shelves, but you may find Clive Cussler under true crime, or R.A. Salvatore under female authors. There is no alphabetization by either author or title. So, if you like hunting through 1000s of books for that one diamond in the rough, this is your spot. Cherish the idea of digging through bins and hoping to find something you're interested in? This is the place. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going into the store and looking around, but it could be so much better with a little organization.

Great place and great people. They even have a resident cat. Restrooms are covered in albums and records, and the floor is cds. We had fun just looking and talking... and of course buying.

One of my all time favorite bookstores. The selections, pricing, and layout/organization, are ingredients for leaving satisfied, toting something you will cherish. All it takes is some time, a keen eye, and perhaps a little digging. I'm convinced that there is something for everyone inside this store. What makes a bookstore superb is the experience it offers you to immerse yourself. The facility's sheer size makes it is easy to feel overwhelmed, especially if you are not quite sure what to look for. Yet, because the store is pretty well organized, the large space works to an advantage for everyone to comfortably carouse, lounge/sit, and read. I must say, of all book stores I've visited, this one has offered one of the most immersive and exhilarating experiences I've ever had.

This place is fantastic! I dug through books to see what I could find for three hours. The volunteers and staff were very helpful, answering all the questions I had. There are some organized sections but digging in the big bins is the best fun.

I was passing through Searcy for a visit and visited this store with some family members, who know I love to read. I was in awe of how many DVDs, books, vinyl records, CDs, & video games were available for purchase. Just know that when you go, all of these items are used, pre-owned, and not new. Although, you may luck out and find an item or two that has never been opened. Next to going to a library to check out books for free, this is the next best thing. You may not find what you are looking for, but the selection is vast. Expect to spend at least a couple of hours just looking through books & DVDs. Titles are not in any particular order except by sections or some genres. I had to basically skim through because there was SO much to look through, but I still found so many good things to buy. The prices are good and fair. I will definitely be going back again, whenever I finish my large stack of books I just bought. I just wish we had one of these stores in my hometown.

Love this store! I don’t get to go very often but I always come back home with a load of books for the cost of just 2 or 3 new books.

It is like a treasure hunt for books!! There are huge bins of books to dig through which are loosely divided among genre, there are a few shelves that have been sorted by genre as well. They also have DVDs and music (CDs/vinyl) with a few games thrown in for good measure. This would be a 5star review if the books on the shelves were alphabetized. It is a book lovers dream and nightmare at once ;)

Great place. Great experience. Visited from Massachusetts, and I don't even want to think about the gas mileage I'm going to lose hauling home the 40 pounds of books my wife picked up. 😅

This place is like heaven if you love books like I do. I collect old antique books and they had so many to pick from including vintage, kid books, cook books, bibles and cds dvds and games and more. I met the sweetest lady running the store she was very helpful. I will definitely be back!!!!

It's kind of dark in this place which is odd for finding books. Also it's a challenge to find books. But the atmosphere and people are good. The prices are very good too.

Such a fun place to shop for some books! The price comes out to about $1.00 a paperback or about $2 a hardback. But you can always get a box and just fill it up for like $30? The people working are literally sooo sweet. They also have cds and DVD, even vinyls. Def recommend

Fun place to browse for books. Easier now that they have books on shelves instead of bins. Books are grouped by genre but aren't in alphabetical order, so give yourself plenty of time to browse. Most books are between 3 and 10 years old, but they do have a section of older books. Priced by the pound and for normal sized fiction novels that equate to about $2.25 a book.
