Rooney needed a new toy & the purple cow fit the bill. The only complaint I have is that there are never enough cashiers. I always have to wait to make my purchase. They seem to have enough staff but only one cashier?

Staff as usual, per my experiences here, are very patient and kind as our girls are very energetic and verbal pups. The staff was great when it came to explaining medications, options, and answering all of our questions. Costs were discussed prior to exams which was greatly appreciated, and affordable. I would definitely recommend Vetco here in Rogers, AR. We love when people love our babies as much as we do! Thank you to the Vetco Team.

Great location & wonderful customer service! Had my pug with me & needed a harness but unsure of what to buy or how it should fit. I had the best experience due to there being friendly staff that actually tried 3- different ones on my dog before recommending the one I needed. The adjustment was made before I left the store & my dog is much happier & safe now!

Ms. Julie and Emily in the grooming department are the best! My dog was on the cancellation list to be groomed and they worked us in so quickly. Ms. Julie is so professional and very kind. She made sure to take her time with me to understand what style of haircut I wanted my dog to have. She even pulled out a book with my dogs similar breed in it to confirm the style and length.I felt 100% comfortable leaving my dog with them because they were so detailed, didn’t rush with me while speaking, honest and seemed very caring.Julie was very sweet too and my dog seemed comfortable with allowing both of the ladies to hold him.Julie gave my dog the cutest little haircut and I can’t get over how much younger it makes him look!

We were there today. 2 tiny babies and 1 1/2 yr old ferrets barely enough food for one baby not along all 3 of them. Horrible! One of the employees stated she isn't comfortable with animals! Seriously why in the hell are you working in a pet store?!?! Give them food actual food and not a few bites!! Hire people that are comfortable with animals!

The managers and staff here always take care of us! Our wellness center was privileged to receive a Bearded Dragon through the Pets in the Classroom grant, giving an invaluable learning experiences to our students. This unique initiative not only educates about animal care but also promotes mental health by providing companionship and therapeutic benefits. Kudos to PetCo for going above and beyond in supporting our community's well-being!

Been a consistent shopper here, for years. For the first time, this Petco location, attempted to charge me for a bag at checkout. We are already paying an inflated cost for items, so that the company can make a profit. Now this store doesn't even have the courtesy to provide a bag to carry your purchased items out, with. This is NOT California, or Colorado, and it's sickening to see their policies stretching over into this area. I will not be shopping here anymore. Update after response from owner: I am thankful that this area has not implemented those ridiculous ordinances. Assuming that I would happy supporting YOUR "sustainability initiatives", is absurd. I care about the money that leaves my bank account, and I'm not looking to support your initiatives.

Wanted to give a shout out to Sam, who gave Bear a mini-make-rover and a sani trim today. He was excellent with Bear who tends to be a bit nervous. Will definitely be booking a full grooming with Sam in the near future. Store is always clean and the staff friendly.

If I could give a zero stars, I would. The straight up neglect of the animals in this store is disgusting. Rats are not dirty animals. They clean each other and themselves often. The fact that not only their tanks were dirty, was bad enough, but the rats themselves were disgusting too. Absolutely ridiculous and avoidable.

Took our 7 month old Bernedoodle to be groomed. She was there from 10:00-3:00. Not sure what happened during that time but our puppy was very different when we got her back. She has been groomed before and she never acted the way she did this time. They called us and said she was done. I said thank you we are on our way. Not 5 minutes later Emily called and said you need to come get Dolly now she is sick. Mind you she was not sick when we took her there. They said she had diarrhea 3 times, and she didn’t have that before she went there. She was very nervous when we picked her up which would cause the diarrhea. She came home and just laid around like she had been drugged with something. She will NOT be going back there.

Every employee at this location has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I need. From locating a specific dog food, to picking out the right breed of snake for my family pet - I always know I will find what I am looking for when I come in. Not only that, but the people who work here actually seem to enjoy their jobs and truly love animals. Shopping here is a good experience. Shout out to Kadence, who is the person you should find if you need help purchasing a snake! She is very knowledgeable.

Despite commendable grooming and clinic services, I must express serious concerns about the overall condition of the store. The fish tanks exhibit signs of poor water quality, with visible white spots on the fish. Ferrets and rodents are housed in unsanitary conditions, with feces present, and some rodents display symptoms of upper respiratory infection. Bird cages consistently show signs of neglect, and the store, in general, appears understaffed, with unfinished tasks visible. Urgent attention is needed to address these substantial health and hygiene issues.

We really love Jordan as our vet. She is caring and carefully explains things. The assistant was also very caring.We do not like where we have to sit but I understand the need for hard surfaces to be able to sanitize. I just have to remember to bring a pillow to sit on.

Friendly cashiers, things do not always change location in the store which is nice for the regulars. Some things feel over priced but blame that on inflation. But things seem to run pretty smooth. I feel during the busy hours they should have more than one cashier

Everything is way overpriced I saw to little vines with leaves they wanted 16$ for for real? Why rip people off I could have bought a whole plant for that price selling rocks with no extras just a rock 20 bucks the inner, come across the people being put on hold forever and it would chime every minute that somebody was on hold tanks were so dirty that you couldn't even see in them on the saltwater end come on guys we could do better than this

Everyone in the reptile community knows the horrors of reptiles coming from Petco, but what I witnessed today was just beyond what I imagined. #1 There is no heat lamp/basking area for these hatchling bearded dragons. That's like bearded dragon 101. How can they not have a simple heat lamp?! I am glad to at least see a uvb, but these poor babies are so dark and black climbing the highest they can to try and get to a non-existent heat lamp! When I called, the employee said there's a heating pad. Another no. Beardies cannot feel heat under their stomachs to know when to get away, leading to burns. But even if that was fine, they still need a visual heat lamp light to bask during the day.#2 there is calcium sand in there (HUGE no no) and it's all over their food. They are no doubt ingesting it, and unable to even try to digest it due to no heat!! I am calling animal control, humane society etc. until this is resolved. It would take about 10 mins to adjust and SAVE these poor babies. I can't imagine what the iguanas and other small animals are going through but my knowledge is about beardies. This is unacceptable.

I am thoroughly disgusted after witnessing the absolute lack of care given to the creatures in this store. It was truly heartbreaking to spend the last few moments of life with a water dragon that was sick and on display for sale in the store. Watching it's terribly weak and utterly emaciated body struggling to move and fight for the last moments of life hurt to watch and be powerless to be able to help. That helpless dying creature should have never been left in an environment where it was exposed to added stresses of being on display while sick. Most creatures on display here are missing critical components to a healthy habitat, tailored for the individual species, and the lack of animal husbandry knowledge is clearly evident throughout each department. This near perfect storm of ineptitude results in unnecessary suffering and death of innocents. The lucky ones seem to be the ones that get "adopted" first; because if you are a creature in the care of this store you are on borrowed time from the moment you arrived at this store. Do not buy from here. Please.

Usually, I have a good experience here and thankful bc it is about the only place to get live feeder rats in the 4-state area! Not this time! Finally rats in stock, but they have some kind of discharge and it is caking in a circle around their eyes- First I thought it was a little rascal type marking, cute- nope they all have it - all the males, the females not yet, visibly. So check for frozen feeders. Only one in the freezer: package torn open, and the food looked freezer burned.No dinner tonight for my hungry, Buddy!There were other things that screamed they needed assistance, like half the beta fish were floating at an angle between 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock, it was very sad. And the tarantula was completely bald on the abdomen. I'm not an expert, but I do not think you have to be to place that in the highly stressed maybe tortured category? As with the bearded dragons who were steadfastly Pearched and starring at the back hatch bc they needed something, like food and water?All the while, staff was dallying in the scoop-your-own litter end cap like it was sand art! Now obviously we've been in a corony bug situation for a while but I'm not going to take that as an excuse when it comes to petco, or any animal place, those are lives and there are volunteers that would help care for the animals - reach outI wish I had more pictures.

I took my timid kitty to get a yearly check up and the staff and Vet at VETCO were so sweet that she did GREAT! Makes a huge difference to have a vet that loves my pets too :)

This is probably one of the best Petcos I ever been to and we have a bunch back in Texas where I’m from. Wendy really helped me out and had exceptional customer service. I have a cat with special dietary needs and she helped me out tremendously and really brightened my day. Thank you wendy!!
