Those who live in and around Poyen know about Hwy 270 Grill but for those outside the area it may one of the best kept secrets. They have delicious home style cooking and a great family friendly atmosphere. The fries look and taste homecut and they even have sugar free dessert options, which is often hard to find in restaurants. They've recently expanded their dining area which only adds to the appeal. With great prices and great quality food, this mom and pop style restaurant could easily compete with any big name burger joint out there.Dietary restrictions: Sugar free dessert options. Diet coke, water, and unsweet tea for sugar free drink options.Parking: Dirt/Gravel parking area. Not hard to find a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: They have a good size kid menu with the normal kid friendly foods. The decor and music are family friendly as well.

Some of the BEST food we've eaten in a while. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and had drinks very quickly. We chose the onion rings for the appetizer, and it was a win! How in the world do they make these onion rings and this batter?? They were incredible. Main dishes ranged from ribeye steaks, chef salads, and chicken wraps. All were very large portions with plenty to share. We should have started with dessert, so be sure to save enough room for the banana parfait and the Oreo parfait. We couldn't stop until the desserts were done... And now we're home, and we're hurting. We'll definitely be back and bring others to try something else great and filling. Thank you to the staff too, they were equally awesome!!! 👍🏽💯🙌🏽

Food was good and hot to eat. BurgerCatfish dinner was delicious too, chicken strip basket tasted like homemade. Even the cries hot andDelicious too. They made olil hick_up taken order. And they promptly adjusted it. 3 orders to go and everything was delicious !✅🏆

My wife and I went to eat there on a Tuesday evening. It did appear to be busy but I was disappointed with the service and food. My wife’s food was fine though. The young lady took our order and brought us our food and she never came back to our table again. A young man did however stop by on more than one occasion. She seemed to know a family who was in and spent most of her time at their table. Maybe we just came at a bad time and may try them again but the first visit did not go well. I ordered their Catfish which was extremely salty and I like salt🤷‍♂️. Like I said maybe just an off time.

Spotted this place while heading to Pine Bluff from Fort Worth. The club was absolutely delicious(Hubby states "Best Club Ever!") Soft bread and plenty of meat. The gravy on the Chicken Fried Steak was spot on. The lemon bundt cake with glaze was particularly divine. Service was welcoming and friendly. If I ever in this neck of the woods again I will be stopping by! .

My only complaint, I've lost a lot of weight and it was freezing. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was good and cooked just right. My daughter got a double cheeseburger, looked like 2 hamburger steaks on it. I got a single hamburger, and I still had to smash my burger down in order to get a bite, with it all loaded. Will definitely be going back!

Stopped by this restaurant on the recommendation of some locals. Plain looking facade. Quaint interior. Excellent service and food. The 1/2 lb. cheeseburger and fries were excellent!!The only downside, which they had no control over, were some of the locals stared at us the entire time. Dang outsiders!! 😄

We ordered lunch To Go. I had the Daily Special Taco Tuesday- Taco Salad that was delicious and the Pico & Salsa were not too hot for me. My husband had the 1/4 pound double burger 🍔 and he really liked it. Price was reasonable. Service was great.

The food was great. The service was on top an personable an very friendly. The cook even shared some awesome fried bananas sprinkled with powder sugar an drizzled with chocolate syrup. I'll be going back. Large generous portions. Check it out if your looking for a new place.
