We have several locations in my community and the older one is great aside from longer wait times occasionally, but the newer one not so great. The newer location has an extremely rude crew including the manager. They also always seem to have an issue with their system to the point that the line will be backed up. It seems like they don't want to deal with customers and only want people to use the self checkout register. I only visit the newer location when I can't get the items that I need at another location. The Overcup location is a GREAT store if you are in the area. The manager, Stephanie, is AMAZING and EXTREMELY helpful. I definitely recommend the Overcup DG with 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there the other night to get a few things I needed. A man who worked there named Sean had the best customer service out of all the times I’ve been to a store. Asked if I needed help finding anything and seemed genuinely happy to be working and helping. He definitely deserves recognition for his customer service.

Just want to acknowledge and commend Cannon and Tryna for their friendly, customer-oriented service while I was in the store! Both were very kind and positive to each patron. I also thank them for IMMEDIATELY correcting a disconnect in the returns process for our state newspaper and resolving a dilemma that had ensued for months!!!!!

ALWAYS BUSY.... clean and well stocked. Line to check out tends to stay pretty long just because it stays really busy. Corporate needs to look into hiring maybe 2 more people for this store to help out with stocking and checking.

Pottsville location...The employees are super friendly, Always saying hello and are there to help you out to look for something. Well stocked products and supplies. Bathrooms are always clean. This location is super easy to get in and get out.

Myself and three other customers stood at counter for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to notice we were even there. I had to keep saying"hello anyone working here tonight?" Finally a lady stuck her head out of the office and yelled for the other guy who was working the register to come and check us out she had to call for him by name four or five times it was ridiculous. Whatever happened to customer service? I think everyone has absolutely lost their minds.

Found a 90% off sale on shoes! I bought several dozen pairs for James project of Latin America - children's home in Guatemala. I did not pay over $1.25 for a pair!! The kids will love them when I deliver them in December .

It does what dollar general claims to do. Convienient and affordable. This location specificilly has the best staff of the dollar generals around and they keep the place neat and orderly which cant be said for all dgs.

This Dollar General has very friendly employees who aren't afraid to help customers. However, there is always a line...so the employees aren't as free to help the customers.

Nice to have a local store but takes forever to get checked out sometimes and seems like they are almost always out of stock of at least one thing I was needing.

Cashier was very rude. She almost hit me with her broom and then ripped my bags . She had an attitude the whole time I was checking out. I hope she was just having a bad day....
