Employees at this location watch people closely, then lie to police to ban you from the property. I pulled my wallet out of my pants pocket and being pants pockets was made too tight, the employee made an assumption that I was stealing just because I forgotten my cap and had a hoodie over my head, I went to the counter pulled my wallet out again and was hard to do, then paid, left the store and no one ever stopped me, went to another store and police were there and said I was banned for doing nothing wrong, lawsuit pending, I despise Satan and ALL he stands for especially when he does things like this!

I used to enjoy shopping at Family Dollar because I could find great deals and save money, but the last time I shopped there was not enjoyable at all. I had been in the store for quite some time shopping, and I went over to the Health section to get the last couple of items I needed. I was stopped in the middle of the aisle by an employee who told me that I wasn’t allowed to bring my purse into the store. I told her I just needed a couple of items and I would be done. She said: “I could walk with you while you shop, but I’m too busy and don’t have time to do that.” (Yet, she had plenty of time to ruin my day...) I said, “But I only have a couple of items to get right there by where you’re at, then I’ll be ready to checkout.” She blocked my cart and refused to let me go through and finish my shopping. I wanted to just walk out, but I was low on money and I needed to use the store coupons to save money. When I went to the checkout, and another employee told me that they made that rule because they caught someone stealing by hiding the items in a big purse. While I understand that they’re trying to cut down on theft, how does harrassing and publicly embarrassing the customers who are NOT stealing help that situation? Also, when I walked out the door, I looked at the doors and I did not see ANY signs on the doors saying that purses are not allowed, so how can they expect people to know that? I have a feeling they will lose a lot of customers because of these terrible policies. People just want to shop in peace and get it done, not be bullied by store employees who are being pressured by their managers to implement ridiculous policies that they know are wrong.

Overall, a good variety of products but the isleways were close together and crowded. It's a little hard to shop with a cart, but it's great if you're just running in for a few things.

Hi this store has rude workers I was told today of a new policy no purses in store I was wondering If this is true they have no signs up I see other ladies still carrying purses I’ve never stolen anything in there! I feel insulted I want to know if this is true or if I’m a target I’m the last person to shoplift so this upsets me I won’t be going back!

I shop at Family dollar several times a month. Throughout the month I buy, Ice cream or my lemon ginger tea, lunch meat, canned vegetables or fruit, I buy my hair care products,bath products, laundry soap, bleach ,fabric softener,garbage bags,dishwashing liquid, auto ,an pet care ,plus cat treats an cat food there most of the time.I've bought shorts an shirts ,sheets,comforters,pillows,seasonal items, an the list goes on.I've always enjoyed the staff an the store is clean.

Family Dollar is a nice little store with a nice selection of interesting things. I personally think their health and beauty aids are overpriced, as is their unhealthy food selection. I'm kind of sad they don't have as much home decor as they used to but they do have a lot of neat toys and convenient things for around the house. The employees really don't stand out much as far as customer service is concerned. They aren't rude, just not especially friendly. The store itself isn't very well organized and it generally stays pretty cluttered.

I have to walk to the store any way and when I walk up there in evening, because it is cooler, they hadhad already closed the tabbaco part. The whole reason I walked up there
