I don't think I have ever seen a store with this many made in America products! The Amish products I was expecting, but not the toys and shoes. Next time I am in the area, I would like to try their cafe and frozen foods.

Great selection for all kinds of goods. Decorative, cards, boots, candy and all kinds of jams. Love the idea of the store and enjoy the layout. If you are traveling through or a local of Pocahontas it's worth checking out!

We were visiting and needed to grab a bite. Quick, easy and tasty sandwiches hit the spot. There is lots to see in the store and we bought a few of them. If we weren't in a hurry to hit the road we could've spent lots more time browsing. Great place!

Beautiful store and it's a lot bigger than it appears. Several unique gift and food items. There's also a cafe. Prices are a little high, but you can't find most of the items at any of the chain stores. Definitely recommend!!!

Such a neat store where you can support American made products (not everything is American made but most of it is). Great selection of locally grown/locally sourced foods. We bought some of the sweetest and brightest strawberries 🍓 around!

Stopped by American Made in Pocahontas didn’t really know what to expect but right away I was greeted by a waitress that was as nice as could be. My wife didn’t know what she wanted but she explained it and they made her one of the best breakfast burritos we’ve ever ate. They tend to you like your family and not just another customer. Was told they have a burger better than anywhere else and I can’t wait to try that next time. So if you’re looking for somewhere that treats you like family and makes delicious food you need to stop by there and give it a try.

I love shopping here. After today's shopping we decided to try the plate lunch. We didn't love it. The mashed potatoes with gravy were the only thing worth eating on our plates. The country fried steak was fried so hard you couldn't cut it. The green beans had not been cooked, just opened and heated. They tasted just like the can they came out of. Roll was hard. We may try a sandwich at a later date. However, after our experience today not sure we will.

Pretty pricey place but a lot of it is worth it because they are beautifully handmade by locals, not just thrown together to make a quick buck. You can tell almost everything had love put into it as well.

I love the idea of an American Made only store. I drove 1.5 hours to buy (a large order) of their boxcar 1x8" douglas fir boards, that they advertised on the front page of the Ozark Horse Trader. I called ahead the day before to make sure they had plenty of stock, and check their hours. Shortly after I arrived at the store, I thought I was in the twilight zone. The front checkout girl directed me to the back, to speak to Overton building sales people. The sales people directed me back to the store front. She was clueless. I asked to speak to the "metal barn" (yard) staff, hoping they could help. We drove to the metal barn, and spoke to two gentlemen, who were helpful, but could not ring up our purchase. We drove back to the main store, and spoke to another Overton salesman, who tried to help, but wasn't able to. Another gentlemen employee called the owner, on our behalf, and explained the situation. He was actually the only truly helpful, customer-service oriented employee at this place. The front cashier finally opened up the other sales register, which was capable of ringing up our order and then we went through another complete ordeal on how to fill our order, since they only had 8 ft and 12 ft boards at the store. 1.5 hours later, we left with the correct linear feet of 1x8" boards. Unreal. I love the idea of an American Made general store, but your execution HAS TO BE BETTER. And to be fair the 1x8 boards are of very high quality. It was worth ALL THIS to procure them.

This place was a nice stop to stretch the legs. Had lots of cool stuff. I loved that they carried Duke Cannon soaps and bodywash. Really cool selection of candies, canned vegetables and classic and weird sodas. A must see if your in the area.

Cool stuff.. been a few times. little pricey on some items..people up front nice ones in back with siding rude, when we asked about roofing our house, like we was bothering them .. my 5,000 roof came from another store.

Arrived there around 1030 am for breakfast. The special of the day didn't have a price. The brunette who finally graced us with her presence (Oh I guess I should put down the price huh?) wrote down $6.50. Was that the real price or something she pulled out of her hat? She had a sullen dim-witted I don't care if you're here or not attitude. Something I can do without when I'm traveling, tired and just plain hungry.No one greeted my husband and I. Was excited about eating at a mom/pop store that housed American made products. The scrambled eggs tasted very odd. The waitress gave us our meal and said nothing. She was completely mute. Never came back and asked us if we like the food or not.When my husband paid for the food, the clerk said absolutely nothing. No how did you like it etc? He gave them the money, they gave him change as if he were absolutely invisible.Same thing with the shed store in the back. Didn't greet us at all. Two ignored us and the one acted as if I were a bother.American made? Maybe. American nice friendly open attitude? Nope. Felt like I was in NYC. Actually they're friendlier in NYC. Won't bother with this store again.
