My family enjoyed visiting the Hitchin' Post Antiques. The owners were very friendly. They showed us their rock that looked like Elvis, their pet birds, their flying squirrel and their little dog. The owner shared her love for rocks and gave my sons each their own set of quartz. The store itself hosted a range of items- some antique, some vintage and some just kinda cool and unique. Interacting with the owners was a unique and pleasant experience.

After having lived in Perryville for a little over 3 years, my husband, daughter, and myself decided to check this place out. We were immediately greeted by the sweetest woman and she gave us a tour of the store. Her crystals/rocks/minerals collection was jaw dropping(but I am very much into crystals and rocks).The items in the overall store are amazing and the environment was very welcoming! My daughter enjoyed her birds, the precious dog, and her flying squirrel, Rocky.There is even a rock in there that has a likeness of Elvis Presley...the KING OF ROCK(see what I did there?).I would definitely recommend stopping by in order to find some very unique findings.Sidenote: bring cash, but that's not a deal breaker.Happy Shopping!!

The owners are so rude. The sign said it was open but the front door was locked. I called the number and asked if they were open. In a very hateful and sacaristic voice he said "what does the sign say, it says we are open doesn't it." I said well your door is locked. He hung up on me and was very nasty to his wife about locking the door. Who needs that drama when shopping.

Owners were nice but they need to set out mouse traps or call an exterminator ASAP. I was in the store maybe 10 minutes and I saw at least 8 mice run across the floor. I was out of there!

Very unfriendly, gave off the hills have eyes vibe lady was nice but the man was very unfriendly nothing is marked and the man was the only one who knew the price which was very overpriced. Wouldn't be surprised if you ended up in a dish in the town potluck.

This place an eclectic mix of antiques and hard to find stuff. From cast iron skillets to random rocks and minerals to toys of yesteryear, I find it nearly a country museum.

Don't visit when it's lunch time or the owner will kick you out because you're just looking around and he's hungry. Poor customer service
