We love this place. Awesome people own it. So friendly. Jean’s baked goods are fantastic; the wedding white cake in a jar is definitely worth the $5.99. Snickerdoodle cookies and banana nut bread were great as well. Cheap pizza if you need something fast! Clean bathrooms. Good free printed resources like motorcycle routes and trails. Lots of snacks. Farm fresh eggs. Ask for local recommendations! You’ll get a ton. About a mile from free campground Fairview Mountain.

It is Great knowing when you drive up scenic hwy 7 there is a good place to stop. I've been coming through the mountains all my life and remember it always being our go to store. Back then it was a stop for lunch meat, bread & drink's for our picnics. However now we have their fresh delicious hot pizza. So glad y'all opened up one of my favorite old time store's!

I thankfully discovered this place after coming out of a week in the forest. The Coke was the best one I ever had! Such a neat place. It was quite “old fashioned “ but the chips and Coke were fantastic!

Excellent service and friendly to strangers passing through. Deli sandwiches are enough for two people 😋 and delicious! Will for sure stop in each and every time and he's got an EXCELLENT gift shop and pics and information on local waterfalls and sights to see. Stop in!

Wonderful old store and a step back in time. Wonderfully friendly owner! Great atmosphere and old museum quality pieces on display. I bought a great handmade appetizer tray from a local artisan ! WE will be returning to this 100 year old treasure! ANYONE giving this store less than a 5 is clearly someone with an agenda!!!

I'm so pleased they got this place up and running. Please stop in everytime you drive through to keep this place going. Even if you just buy a coke, support these good people. They can make you a homemade sandwich while your there. You remember those white bread sandwiches your grandma used to make when you got to stay with her? You can get those here!

Absolutely love these little treasures in small town America! Right off the highway, they have a lovely lady that provides them with fresh baked goodies (fried pies, no bake cookies, breads, jellys, salsa, and more) They have pizza, ice cream, honey, shirts, homemade soaps, gifts, and so much more. Friendly, down home hospitality. Stop by and say Hello and pick up some goodies for the road.

After a foggy hike, we warmed ourselves by the pot belly stove while we ate our burgers. This place is like a country store, museum, community gathering place. You can get anything from pizza to moon pies to a free Bible. Great place.

I loved this place. A good stop on your motorcycle to buy stickers and patches. Lunch was decent too. The owners are super friendly!

I'm so glad to see Hankins Country Store open once again. It's always been a convenient stop for many motorcycle riders in the Ozarks. Now there is a real option for a lunch there since they have Hunt Brothers Pizza and sub sandwiches made on the spot. They also have gift items available. I'm going to make every effort to stop there when possible and support these kind hearted folks.

Stopped here a few years back while out on a road trip doing photography. The people inside were very friendly and they had a decent selection of snacks and food that we took advantage of while roaming the country side.We all purchased sandwich combos, some of which contained BBQ Loaf, which was somewhat of a mystery to us, but we ended up liking, and not being able to find anywhere else.Inside the store was the old cage from when it was also the post office, which was interesting to look at.A great place to stop, grab a soda or a sandwich while passing by. Several years later its of the places I remember from a two thousand mile road trip.

The store has just reopened. Friendly people running the store. They have a good selection of basic items and pizza. We forgot a few thing and lucky for us they had them. I purchased a painting by a local artist and a few locally baked goods.

These folks went out and found my special needs little brother who had wandered off in the national forrest close by. My family and I will be eternally grateful to them. They fed my brother and listened to his disjointed stories until I arrived to pick him up. They would take no compensation for their kindness. I later returned with the intent of repaying them in some small way and found endless souvinirs to bring home to friends and family. My brother Chuck say's they have really good ice cream and candy. Thanks again guy's.

At long last this oasis has reopened! Really nice store. Outside and inside eating. Pizza, pastries, drinks. Home goods. Souvenirs. Local honey for sale. This is located in Pelsor, Arkansas. Right at the junction of Hwy 16 and 123.
