Nice grocery store if you don't like going to Walmart. Lots of parking, and a nice meat and produce selection. I love the 5 for 25 deal on there meats.**Update was here yesterday and was so pleased how friendly, and helpful the lady working the deli was . I was there roughly around 2-3 pm , and I asked her if she knew how to shave chopped ham , and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I explained that the other hays store in town point center told me they didn't do that ,and to go to Walmart.( either by lack of knowledge or by wanting to get home on time ) being I stopped in on an evening when the deli was 10 minutes from closing. The lady at this store said they know exactly how to shave meat . So I would say it was because she wanted out of work on time . So I'll definitely go to this hays store for lunch meat since they know exactly what they are doing, and are happy to assist there customers. **

Not the newest or fanciest grocery store out there but they do have decent deals considering how crazy prices have gotten. Most of the employees I've seen and interacted with are polite and courteous.Overall, it's a chain type of store that keeps its small town mom and pop feel.Definitely recommend if you're just picking up a few missing items. Full on meal planning type shopping...well, be smart and compare pricing, same as everywhere else.

Fast, friendly service. Their meat and general goods prices are top tier but they fall short in the dairy and juices areas compared to their competitors. The deli has a nice selection of cold cuts as well as a fair priced hotbar. Overall a well balanced store with a great regular sales system.

Always a good selection and good quality. I love buying meat here. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly too. I have never been in here when the store was not clean and organized.

They have alot of variety of food but prices could come down a bit. The meat is cheaper than Walmart but everything else cost more than a Walmart trip. The deli is ok but not very welcoming the ladies seem angry and slow to serve.

This store has really went to the dogs. Saw a homeless looking guy I'm the store on a bike. Nothing against him being homeless because I once was in that situation. But I don't see why they let him in the store on a bike. The meat department was not like I remember it .. No crown rib roast or top quality steaks which drew me in.

It is a good place to shop close to home prices are high . But that's everywhere. Friendly staff. They help carry your groceries out to your car.I would recommend shopping there.

I buy their specials quite often. Very friendly and very helpful.The shelves are full, rarely out of anything, which is a big plus!!Produce section is great!!They are a more expensive on many things than a super center, but watch the sales for the best shopping experience.

Great & convenient! I live near by so I shop here a lot! They have some great sales occasionally and pricing is decent. I get my meat products here as well and have had no problems with the quality or price! Service is always fantastic as well!!

Prices are a little high on some things but they have pretty good sales and rewards card makes them even better! Every week they have different meats on sale and the 10/$10.00 sales are sweet. They also have the pick 5 for$19.99 which really comes in handy when you have kids.

Store was fairly well stocked considering all the pandemic stuff. Employees as a whole are friendly. They really need to teach anyone who is going to be checking/bagging how to bag groceries. Bags are usually over filled, items are not bagged with like items. For example, my tomatoes were on the bottom in a bag of meat.

I stopped in pretty late one evening and they wouldn't honor a sale on sausage patties that they were advertising with big sale signs taped to the freezer door, simply cuz no one there at the time knew how to correct the price on the register. I want to add also that I stopped at this same Hays store this past July 31 for whole chickens, I bought 10 fryers and one particular bird caused us to weigh all of them and n we even calibrated and double checked the kitchen scales, only to find that each and every fryer weighed fryer was marked and charged 3/4# more than actual weight.

It's somewhat clean, there are a lot of gnats around the veggies and fruit. There isnt much of an ethnic selection. If you need ranch, there is more then I've ever seen in one place. The staff is nice and helpful.

We do all of our grocery shopping at Hays. They always have a great selection of Meats, their prices are always good. The staff at Hays are always friendly. They keep a well maintained store. Always clean and tidy. All of our grocery stores around here have went to "cost plus" stores except for this Hays. I hope they never change. I personally don't care for those kinds of stores. So if you want great selections, great prices and great staff I suggest Hays.

I went to the deli counter for salami and apparently they were all out.While I was waiting I noticed that some of the staff were in a nasty mood and that translates to the other customers, as one of them did mention it to the sales person. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.The parking is convenient and the carryout people were very pleasant.

I had to give one star just to write a review.Usually y'all's roasted chickens are awesome.but today got one& when I got home with it & began to cut the meat off it was cold & still pink - meaning that it was still raw- undercooked.plz cook your chickens to done.now I will never ever get one again...just nasty& uncalled for.

I like shopping here, just wish they would make sure to pull older stock forward, have brought a few things that were expired, and have told about others. They've gotten better lately though. And the people who work there are usually really nice.

Been shopping here for many years. The young people they employ for the most part are friendly, cordial. Although a couple of them have the personality of a cactus and should work on their people skills
