It's the employees that make the store. Years ago I bought an old landline phone and when I paid the $5 for it the employee said I got $4 here and I counted it before I gave it to her, they let me keep the phone though, 2024 went there and got 2 plush teddy bears and she asked would you like them in a bag and I said if I could afford them and the 2 plush teddy bears were identical yet 1 said $3.99 and the other one was $4.99 both identical and she did give me a $1.99 discount which was cool, I live on a very limited social security check and it helps when you can get a discount. Thank You Very Much Goodwill! God Bless You All!

Prices being labeled are ridiculous. Actual high prices put on Actual junk plastic cups, plates, 3.99 put on small individual shot glasses?? I mean you can buy a complete set of 6 at big lots for 4.99!! Also this store is getting horrible for putting out items and not tagging them.... this is why we are seeking out of town or out of state goodwills to go to. Store won't even both trying to tag while you are there, they take it back for processing and you are out of luck. Like they don't already know the price of the item, like plushes, dishes, etc. Makes no sense! This store increase pricing is beyond insane and not even close to reasonable pricing on most items!

Goodwill is always a great place for us. We tend to find great deals on alot of various clothing for each of us. It's a great place for one to go that has a tight budget. It can be hit or miss for certain items but there is a ton to go through. You just have to take your time and really look.

24Sep2023 use to be cheap but they only have stuffed marked $1 less then the tag on product. With these prices you might as well buy brand new. My family and I use to really love coming here and having fun seeing what deals could be made but now it's just frustrating the prices on donated goods. Lower prices please, make thrifting fun again.

Goodwill does not have changing rooms. They will tell you that you can take the items home and if they donāt fit you can return them. A complete lieYou canāt get your money back. It cost me $50 to learn they lieš”I will never support Goodwill in any way againāļø

Great store. The employees are kind and they have a great selection of clothing. The store is a bit disorganized in the home decor area but itās no deal breaker. It is clear that the store receives constant donations as they are constantly putting things out on the floor. It is a busy store! Probably the busiest Goodwill Iāve ever shopped. Overall, itās a wonderful place to donate or shop!

Between charging 8.99 and UP on any shirts, pants, even torn purses (yes extremely ripped I did point it out and was told the price took that in consideration $19.95!). The price changes for regular items was a little much seeing as how everything was donated. So tell me how a store that depends on charity of people's donations has decided if they think it's nice even Walmart brand items have become marked up to surpass the big company pricing. Tell me how this is giving back to the area. Isn't that Goodwill's design to employee all and bring affordable things to the public to shop? I've witness them turn away family's in need, I seen shoes and cleats marked up (for torn up childrens shoes). How is this going to help the families that struggle to afford school clothes? The young boys and girls that hoped to try a sport this year? Now families can't even come to goodwill to try to hunt for that perfect shoe, if they can't afford Walmart how will your once donated shoes marked up to $20 help.Edited for the goodwill owner. Mission impact sounds great for anyone who don't open their eyes and look. Rise in prices of a reasonable amount is understandable. All profits yes? that is the amount after paying your own salary and the salary of those on your board of charity? See Im not sure how taking away from the struggling family's in this moment helps so many? I've reviewed your mission statement your goals, but I've seen from the Paragould AR a family come in ask for that help, computers they are set up no help was offered. Nothing just one family you say I agree, what is 14.95 for a discolored backpack to a million dollar company? What is 19.95 for shoes used shoes not name brand. I can tell you what that means to the struggling family the people on a limited income trying to find nice clothes for doctors appointments? You are hiding behind charity and excuses. You could choose not to mark things up because you think they look newish? Price changes on shelf is one thing digging through donations to mark ripped purses, tore up shoes to $20. Jeans shirts $8.99 and up. Change can start with you and you are choosing to hurt the family's in your community

I shop here often and usually have a good experience but not today. The cashier rang up my items and charged me full price for a discount item. When I asked about it she argued with me until I showed her the receipt and the tag. When they finally agreed I was right I got a $2 gift card, not cash back even though I paid cash and hadn't left my place in line. I will not return to this store, I will be going to Jonesboro where the workers are not rude and argumentative. Plus that store is much more organized, if I could give minus stars I would šššš

I am a plus size woman and it is difficult to find clothing in Paragould that fits me. I was surprised and delighted to discover that Goodwill has a section for plus size clothing. I was able to get 3 pr of shoes, 3 skirts and 8 blouses plus a few other items for $50. Some of the items were popular name brands. Can't beat that.

This was my first time in this Goodwill store and I was impressed. I've been in many over the years and around the country and a lot of them were pretty bad. This one was clean and items were grouped together. One word comes to mind-- organization! And the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely go again...and again!!!

Store has clothes and shoes everywhere on the floor. Cashier was rude. Did greet us didn't say thank you. She acted like she didn't want to be there.

Change.orgās petition to stop Goodwill Industries from exploiting its employees with disabilities with an 80-year-old law for subminimum wages has gone viral with over 220,000 signatures.Outed by the petition and an NBC expose five years ago that reported workersā wages being as little as $0.58 an hour, the $3 billion nonprofitās company-wide practices have yet to change. Current company reviews on āGreedwillā also reveal their below minimum wage injustices.Exceeding $400,000 (and in one case up to $1.3M) in individual salary for 23 regional CEOs, according to Omaha World Herald, Goodwill clearly could afford to do better for their employees. The bad publicity and hypocrisy is tearing the company apart.Regional CEOs have been dropping like flies since 2013 (Omaha, Nevada, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Western Missouri/Eastern Kansas, to name a few), and as of April of this year, international CEO Jim Gibbons, a man with a disability himself who earned almost $730,000, has left the company āto pursue other options.āOver 200,000 workers with disabilities in the U.S. are still paid subminimum wage. āDisability went from a medical issue which makes it seem as something to be cured before full equality to a civil rights issue,ā says Carol Glazer, president of the National Organization on Disability.Change.orgās petition (started by the National Federation of the Blind and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network) is increasing momentum behind changing the law.The Fair Labor Standards Act currently allows employers, via 14c certificates, to pay those with disabilities rates below federal minimum wage. A push is underway for certificates to be eliminated and a competitive integrative model and community resources to be part of the replacement initiative. Incentives for businesses are also being considered by legislators as a way to break the outdated business practices. The Southeastern PA branch of Goodwill, whose CEO was fired, has reportedly transitioned its business model to impact the employees of their thrift stores with fairer practices. So perhaps the next appointed international CEO can mandate the regions of the company to do it.

They took my donations and then I shopped. They had a lot of clothes that I liked in my size. I am very pleased with my purchases. When I had a question, someone was nearby to answer it.I highly recommend Goodwill store in Paragould. AR.

Lovely staff some of the items for sale are too expensive eg leggings which can be purchased new at Walmart for the same price and books are high compared to flea markets and what the library sells. Look and you will find bargains

The people that were working were extremely helpful, but the store itself is disorganized and somewhat dirty... prices were to high. But if you dig deep enough you can find a bargain.

It was pretty clean and organized. I think thrift stores including this one charge too much for used clothing. Their prices are lower than in California though.

They don't have the sizes organized. They are all mixed together. You have to look at every shirt to find the size you want

I overheard an employee complaining about people trying on clothes and talking about changing the tag colors on things saying "Im sick of people getting entertainment centers for a dollar" .. Also I saw this same lady go up to someone with a cart full of clothes and asked her if she was gonna buy all that cause she didn't want to put the stuff back on the racks If she didn't. I live in Paragould Arkansas. The one in Jonesboro Arkansas also has changed their wares from a color tag to a "w" tag meaning wares. So they never have to lower their price.. How could they be so greedy and snotty over donated things.. I will edit this went I find out the lady's name!!!
