We drove past this place a few months ago. Saw it was a food truck but there was a lot of people around. We heard that it was a place to get a great burger.Well it for sure it. It is not your normal average burger. I will tell you. Don’t start by taking the what comes on the burger off. All of them start with a base ‘grilled onions, home-made mayo, and some kind of garlic.’ My husband had them leave the onions off his and he felt like his burger was missing something. I can tell you my burger was truly the perfect blend of seasoning.This food truck is ran by one gentleman. He’s super friendly and will make sure that you are satisfied with you meal. I can only see him being more successful. This place is a great stop for a great burger!!

Decent place with a friendly staff. The burgers were good, both were overcooked and a bit dry but had good flavor nonetheless. The fries were pretty good, would’ve been better if they’d have been crispy. The shake was a huge letdown, very runny and I have no idea what was floating around in it but it has an odd texture.

It's open again! New owner. Food truck now instead of old barn. Very clean, good food. You can tell the new owner is putting time and money into making it a good place to stop for food. It's worth the stop!

Amazing! I've enjoyed plenty of roadside food stops. Never, and I mean never have I had a burger and fries that exceeded my expectations by this much. The young lady who was working was a gem. And she cooked the best burger. They call it "3 napkin" burger. They're correct! The fries were the best as well. They were soft and perfectly salted and fried skin on to a nice deep brown. Y'all, if you're even remotely thinking about grabbing a burger..... DO IT!

I hadn’t been since my childhood in the ‘90s. I stopped yesterday. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Served with southern hospitality. They won’t let you leave hungry.

Wonderful came out from hiking waterfalls we were all cold. They had a fire going. Treated us just like family. A lady there brought out her riding horses that were absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

I know it's named Burger Barn but the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was amazing! I had it with onion rings. Overall, outstanding food and service! Enjoy the fire pit while you're there. Also, this is a great place to hang out while taking a break from the OHT.

We were so happy to find this place after a full day of hiking. The burgers are huge and so good! Highly recommend the Wanderer. Owner is super nice and very accommodating. We will absolutely be back.

Perspective is everything and this picture doesn't do this burger justice!!! Thats a full size normal bun and 2 HUGE patties cooked to perfection .. what an accomplishment to have a fully cooked burger that thick and not even a little bit dry!Grab your friends and family and go try it out but if you get a double you better be hungry because that is a massive burger!Best burger I have had since I don't even know when!

Friendly staff. Had the Philly and it's loaded. Meat is excellent quality and I had overflow onto my plate. Meat was not thinly sliced during my ONE experience, but sandwich is recommended! Place is busy during peak hours (30min wait) so plan accordingly.

This place is legit. Looks like an unassuming yellow barn shaped storage shed in the middle of nowhere, but don't let looks fool you... definitely worth going out of your way for. The owners are really nice and helpful. They hand cut fries and leave the skins on. Try the burger with pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, and chipotle mayo and bring your own beer (in a dry county)...you'll thank me later!

This place is sadly closed. Went there on Sat Feb 17, 2024 to find the buildings gone. There was a food truck parked there that said water leak and they were not open. I didn't get to try the food truck. I can't remember the name but it seems way different from previous owner.

Reopened after the death of its long-time owner, the burgers are still excellent. If you're a dainty eater, be sure to request a knife and fork. The menu was limited the day we arrived, as the soft-serve machine was apparently broken. We haven't visited often, but the food and rustic setting have been a highlight of our travels.

My husband and I decided to have our anniversary dinner at the Burger Barn yesterday. I called ahead to make sure they were open and the sweet girl gave me the hours but offered to stay later if needed. We hustled over there and she cooked us up the most amazing burgers!!! My husband got fries and I was a little jealous until she finished up my mushrooms. Those mushrooms were to die for!!! The atmosphere was quirky and weird so we felt right at home. I was delighted when the dog there came over for pets. He's very polite and doesn't even beg. Our 10 year anniversary dinner is probably our most memorable. Thanks for the amazing meal!

We stopped in here on a road trip while riding AR 21. The burger was probably one of the best I've ever had! The meat to bun ratio was excellent! The french fries looked like they were homemade but could have cooked a little longer for my liking. The reason for the 3-star service rating is that it took almost an hour for us to get our food.

Best burgers we have had in years! We will go back. Burgers cooked perfectly...seasoned well, toasted bun super fresh veggies. The fresh cut French fries were super. I forgot to take picture of the burger...it looked so good I dug right in.
