The mgr was very helpful, I was looking for a storage container and she showed me where they were located. I chose the one I wanted and they got it off the top shelf for me. I also bought garbage bags. I checked out and she let me know about the sale that was going on and I bought some things off the table. Got a great deal. I appreciate it. I love this Dollar General. Always a pleasure to go. Thanks.

Don't buy the box fans at dollar general. First one I bought has a broken cover, exchanged for another, clerk opened box said it looked good. Wasn't broken. Got home, got it out and wires were sticking out pushing the cover outward. Needs wire harnesses to keep wires from pushing on the plastic cover. But I do like dollar general. I can sometimes find good deals. Box fan was $17 plus tax. But invest in something sturdier.

This store is always overcrowded and messy. It's difficult to get a cart through the aisle and you have to move loads of freight and empty boxes out of your way to get to the things you want. They are always understaffed and the staff that is there usually don't stop chatting with each other to acknowledge your presence.

This is by far the nicest Dollar General I've ever been to. It was clean and well organized. It has more grocery items than the local Walmart. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

You must be ready to hunt thru things there. Over crowding is a way of all the Dollar General stores I have been in. If you are claustrophobic, I recommend going to Walmart.I did find what I was looking for, extension cords.

This store is a great service to our little town. I just wish they could stock products requested by customers. Corporate control is not sensitive to the local population.

they have lot more than one in Coal Hill ,it 5 miles down the Road going toward Clarksville , The one Altus you can beer ,food ,marked down merchandise ,beside it is place to get all wines , and other things , Dollar General in Altus don't sell gas the one in Coal Hill sells gas it 5 miles back down the road about 10 minutes then 15 minutes to interstate, as you leave the one in Coal Hill if you going toward Fort Smith go up the hill stay straight you go to interstate . Little Rock get back Highway . But get all yor snacks ,can food household items right at Dollar general if you smoker always have an ID no matter how old you you can be 70 they still ID you no ID no sell so remember that . they got oil, automotive ,yard stuff,

They recently redid the store. It's pretty ok in there now. They seem to have quite a bit more healthy foods now

There is a new person working here i dont know if she is management or not but i can say she is making it a better looking store than it has been in a long time.. there was less stuff in the isles and the outside had some structure to it.

Pros: Carries all the essentials at comparable prices or cheaperCons: For 14 years now this place has had cramped, crowded isles with clutter everywhere making it feel like a flea market inside.
