Jackie is great! We adopted our first KBD puppy from her in january. She was constantly sending us updates and pictures the whole time from deposit to pick up. I still text her with questions and what she has for recommendations and she always gets back to me. With this breed it's common knowledge that they are susceptible to hip dysplasia but it isnt 100% genetic. We knew there was a chance he would develop hip dysplasia but We had to take a lot of precautions to do our part and keep him healthy. He is bounding around great with no signs of it. I would highly recommend Ann's karelians if you are looking for a KBD.

Just picked up our second KBD to add to our pack! Ann's is absolutely amazing and truly cares about the dogs. The dogs are healthy and hearty and make both amazing family dogs and working dogs! The owners are very personable and helpful and always available to help out and offer advice! Highly recommend!

Get records from OFA...pls people due diligence for the healthy life of pups MONEY is more important than a healthy bred litter...there needs to be a new regulation as far as back yard breeding I'm sick of this...

PLEASE do EXTENSIVE research before purchasing from this breeder. I was lied to multiple times before getting my puppy from Jackie and her husband. They have MANY litters per year and usually breed females back to back with little breaks. When I told Jackie my puppy was showing signs of Hip Dysplasia at 6 months old she offered no support, compassion, or any type of education. My dog was diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia at 11 months old and Jackie had nothing to say. After further digging I found her own dogs on the OFA site and found out she has been breeding and will be continuing to breed her own dogs that have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia by OFA, but has kept this a secret from anyone who buys puppies from her. Jackie will no longer respond to any of my emails with questions about her breeding. My dogs breeders are Nikita and Mishka, who are VERY commonly bred together because they will occasionally produce a puppy with blue eyes…which is out of breed standards. Please question this breeder hard and do extensive research before getting a KBD here. After sharing my story, many others have reached out with very similar issues after getting their puppies from this mill. Please be aware.
