My kids are 6 and 8, and they had a blast here. They made friends with other kids, and found a ton of little polished rocks in the sand. Yes, it's a giant sand pit seeded with little polished rocks for kids to find. And for young kids this is way more fun than digging for diamonds at the mine, though we did have fun there too. The space was nice and cool, so I could sit back and relax while the kids played. One of my kids found more rocks building sand castles and walls than by searching, so it wasn't too hard either.

This place is unique indoor fun. We spent $8 per kid to dig and fill a bag up with the polished rocks they found and it was well worth it, since you pay $10 at any shop for a bag of those thing and no experience. They provide all the digging tools and you can stay as long as you want.

The owner is the most amazing nice man and this place is 100% worth going also great for kids plenty of dinosaurs in the digging area and hidden treasures also. Oh also the kids will love that the dinosaur's🦖🦕 also make noises while you are on your digging adventure

This place is pretty cool!!!! 8.80 (including tax) to get In. it's perfect for kids. Whatever they fit in their bag they get to keep, and in promise they will find more than they can keep lol! it's a small building, but still a lot of fun for the kids. My kids loved the sand, rocks and of course the dinosaurs!!!!! Definitely will be visiting here again!!!

It was raining, and we searched for anything to entertain our 7 year old. He loved digging in the sand for rocks, and we loved that this place was indoors and affordable! So much fun and stress free for adults.

Excellent place to let kids search for "treasures". Inside and air conditioned! Also very nice gift shop. I found treasures of my own.

This place was an absolute blast for two four year old kids! Went digging for diamonds at the local state park and the kids wore out quickly, but the Dino-Dig was perfect and they were able to find treasures! Would 10 out of 10 recommend this experience!

Kids had a great time. But there really needs to be better ventilation. And would be perfect for birthday parties if it was bigger. And had an area out of the sand for kids to eat. Staff was very nice.

My son loves this place. It’s the best way too cool off after being in the sun all day and get to enjoy the big sandpit here. My son had a blast just riding rocks and rehiding them for the next kids to look for. The staff was super friendly and the gift shop had lots of choices

The grandkids & I had fun on this quick stop. They were a little sad that they only found rocks & no dinosaur bones. But playing in a giant sandbox in the air conditioning made up for it

A nice stop on our road trip back to Texas. Paid $8 per kid and they dug around in the sand and found polished rocks. They got 1 bag to fill up and they were able to keep those rocks. It was July when we went so it was nice to sit in the air conditioned building while my kids entertained themselves digging in sand.

Fun place for the kids to play and dig in the sand. Lots of neat toys, crystals and souvenirs to buy. We spent about an hour and a half here. Only found about 6 little rocks. Be sure to ask the people up front to spread out more rocks if you can't find any. I didn't know this until a lady came in right before we left and told them they couldn't hardly find anything and they added more for them.. about right. But it was fun.

My kids really enjoyed this. It was very simple and just some colorful rocks but they really liked this! The guy working not sure if he's the owner or not but he was very nice!!!! Kids love this place! You can also check out the pawn shop that has diamond that were found at the crator of Diamond!!!!!!

Great place for kids! The parents can sit and relax while the kids play. Lots of rocks for kids to find. Not difficult. My 3 year old was finding rocks. Bones and dino eggs to bury and dig up also.

Very cute place, especially for a rainy day activity. The supplies are all there for you and the sand is stocked. Great seating for parents and even heaters were on because it was a chilly day. The store is stocked with diamonds found from the local Crater of Diamonds and lots more gems fo chose from. Coins, souvenirs and snacks. There is an attached pawn shop that is full of just about 1 of everything, at least.

highly recommend this place to everyone. Owner and staff are super friendly. A must-see, stop and hunt when you are in town, stopping by, or on your way home especially for the younger ones . The staff and team are super friendly and we're patient with our inquiries

The building is small but the sand pit is big. My 7 year old had a blast and my wife and I were able to relax in some nice large chairs. The person running it was very pleasant. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area.

Kids had a good time - even my 15 year old, which was a nice surprise. We had the place to ourselves, so the 2 of them had the entire sandpit to themselves. The fellow that checked us in was super nice as well.
