Came to view the eclipse and was not disappointed! We stayed four nights, with friends staying in another cabin, and all had a blast. My kids (7 and 9) were never bored, as there was plenty to do on the property. Everything worked and was clean and comfortable. We stayed on the top floor of the Livery. Staff were both helpful and friendly.Only thing I recommend is that visitors pick up their supplies before arriving, as the rooms don't have shampoo and soap, and the selection at the general store is understandably a bit limited.If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'd gladly pay another visit.

We had a great experience. Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean. We took kids ranging from 4 - 9 and they really enjoyed the site. There were plenty of things for them to do and places for them to run around and burn some energy. Would definitely go back. I would even consider staying there on a hunting trip as I know my stuff would be safe and the rooms clean. My son is already planning our next trip back. Thanks so much for the great experience!

Spectacular place to stay with exceptional customer service! We spent the weekend there with our two Teens (15yo boy & 13yo girl) and we all loved the atmosphere. Beautiful theme, cabins, lots to do on site and location. The lady at the office was super nice and was great with us and the teens. We are already planning a trip back. Highly recommend!

I booked a room last summer in advance to view the total solar eclipse. Things went alright until January. The place contacted me and said instead of booking two nights that we had to book four if we wanted to book any rooms at all. For two nights, it's already expensive, but I went ahead and booked for two more nights, remembering what a wonderful experience we had six years ago. We arrived late at night. The next day they gave us a paper with all the rules saying we had to take our trash outside and dump it in cans, leave all the towels in the shower after use, and hang the shower mat up after every use to keep the floor from getting ruined. They would charge extra for too much of a mess! The people weren't the friendliest, but they did at least give us what we asked for. We stayed in the Mercantile, and I don't know if it was like this in any other room because we stayed in the same room six years ago. The lights were too dim in the room and the bathroom. No soap was in the room, you had to buy it if you didn't have any. There was barely any wifi, and it barely worked. The last thing was the bugs! The same is said about all of Murfreesboro. There was an endless amount of flies, wasps, and bees! Although they all went to bed during the eclipse. To anyone looking to stay, I hope this helps.Noteworthy details: Beware of the tepee! It stayed smoky long after a fire went out. It was filled with smoke while a fire burned!

Lady was a little rude when I called. Don’t have any type of emergency and need to cancel a night because they are not allowing it! Supposedly booked for 9 weeks out but can’t get it booked for the night i need to cancel two days in advance. I understand your policy but stuff happens and most places you CAN CANCEL 48 hours in advance!

If you have kids or you're a kid at heart, you're going to love this place. The rooms are Western themed and so much fun! Each set of rooms comes with an open-air grill and picnic table. Huge play area with lots of activities - pillow bounce, pedal cars, sports, archery, corn pit, playground. Every night is a foam party and smores around the campfire in the teepee. The ladies that run it (especially Ms. Beth) are so wonderful that you'd think you'd known them your whole life. Parents be warned - it's a dry county! Haha. Amity has a liquor store about 20 mins away with the nicest people and good prices. You will not be disappointed with your stay!

The theme at Diamond Old West Cabins is so much fun! It has such a unique "Little House on the Prairie" feel. We stayed in the Schoolhouse, and LOVED the covered wagon bed. The cabin has 4 bunk beds + the covered wagon queen bed.Our cabin was **spotless** -- and trust me, I'm picky about cleanliness. Each and every bed was comfy -- even the bunk beds. Linens were all clean and very very soft. Water pressure was great. We only stayed one night, but wish we'd stayed at least two! It was pouring rain upon our arrival, so we didn't get to do any of the fun activities until the morning before checkout. Our kids loved the pedal carts, jumping blob, water pump races, and archery the most! Everything was in perfect condition. You can tell a lot of love goes into this place!The teepee was destroyed in a storm before our arrival, so we didn't get to experience the teepee fire pit. They have another one ordered, so maybe next time!We did turn on the heater (for the first time this Fall), and it smelled like something was burning. The fire alarm went off, so we turned it off, and called to make sure we didn't need to do something differently. We were quickly assured that it's normal for the first heat cycle each Fall and would stop. Sure enough, it was fine when we turned it back on. We appreciated the quick response time!We had a wonderful trip. Thank you, Diamonds Old West Cabins!

It was cute! Staff was super helpful and got me all set up in advance. Made sure I had a downstairs room for my son. Check in was super fast and check out was a breeze. Things to do to keep little humans entertained like the park and the peddle cars!! The teepee was super cute and the fore was amazing in it on the cold stay. The room we had was amazing. Bed was comfortable and the shower hot. We came for the Diamond mine but had a blast at the room!

Overall, we would stay again as long as we have children with us. We were disappointed that the pedal cars and track were in poor condition. There were no geodes to crack open, as stated. You can buy a bucket of dirt with things to find for $24! The foam was a hit with the kids. Just be aware that they will be totally soaked. The s'mores aren't free. You buy the pkg of sticks, graham crackers and chocolate (which was old and discolored). The playground was really well built.The rooms were fine. The bathroom was small and somewhat dated, but clean. Pretty views! The picnic table was pretty warped. The fire pit was nice.

If you are looking for a kid-friendly place, with very family-focused activities, this is the place for you. We enjoyed the playground, the campfire at 6 PM, and so much more. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. I thought that it was great how hands-on she was with the place. Having themed cabins also was a hit! The only negative was that WiFi was very spotty in the cabin where we stayed. Other than that, it was a great experience!

What a wonderful experience! Our family made lots of precious memories here, the kids didn't know where we were going, and my husband stopped here to "ask for directions" 🤣. The kids were so enthralled by all of the amenities and when they found out we were staying, they were ecstatic. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even though ours were the only kids there, they went ahead with the extras, like the foam party (which was so neat!) This would be an amazing place to have a family reunion or group trip!

My son and I just returned home from an 8 day road trip & this was, by far, our favorite location. I'm only upset that I only booked us for two nights. The grounds & rooms are clean & beautiful. The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff are all kind & friendly. They have so many fun little touches everywhere...5pm foam party, 6pm campfire (s'mores supplies can be purchased in the store), corn pit, rubber duck racing, archery... I really can't say enough good things about them. We will definitely be back...and we're bringing friends. ;)I don't understand all the reviews about the smell. They're wood cabins...even this city girl knows wood cabins smell like...wood. ??? There was nothing musty or gross about any of it.

Wonderful Family Oriented Place!! Quite little western cabins outside the coolest place to unearth arrow heads!! This place had everything for kids to do and stay. For a Great Price!Rooms: Spacious rooms with western attire!!Nearby activities: Arrowhead hunting. Diamond mining and more.Safety: Very safe here.Walkability: You can go anywhere here and not get bored.

1st it was right on highway, next the cabins were right next to one another not private as stated unless they were meaning not having to share balconies, 3rd it smells like a chicken house with dead chickens, the flies were awful, the riding carts were mostly broken, the track was not paved as shown in the pictures, the teepee was only done at a certain time in which they tell you when 6pm, also the only water attraction was also done on there time schedule, also 6pm, the cabin was clean but the balcony overlooked a grown up field with a dried up pond. WAY OVERPRICED worth half what Ipaid, dollar tree decor, family cabin without enough seating. I do not and will not recommend, and without saying I will not return. Don't just read my posting read others. If the owner reads fell free to reply. I will discuss with you on how to make it better.

Was nice and very kid friendly. Lots of things to do. If you go, be sure to check out the lake and rivers close by. So clear and beautiful. Only reason 4 stars, is because my family was up stairs. And the family below us kept jumping around and being loud until midnight. The rooms are not very sound proof. Kept waking us up.

Just AWESOME! 😅 So glad we booked here! The Diamonds Old West Cabins are Amazing! We stayed in the JAIL cabin, and the attention to rustic charm and detail was incredible. Did I mention how incredibly clean everything was. The owners were Phenomenalily Friendly and Hospitable! We had car trouble and they went Above and Beyond to assist us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Love This Place!!! ❤

The room was great but our phones barely worked and only certain cabins (not ours) have wifi and you can only pick it up if you go outside not matter what they say. To make matters worse there was only 1 channel that wasn't infomercials and you can't order movies without wifi. But the day time activities are pretty awesome so it wasn't all bad

We stayed 4 days and was more than pleased. The ladies that worked the front were amazing, kind, professional and friendly. We had two girls with us 10 and 12 and they had a blast. There are many things for the kids to do. My two loved the jumping. They had archery, basketball, volleyball, playground, pedal cars, horseshoes and more. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. A very good experience!! Thank you.

Customer service was great. This is the absolute best cabin/hotel we've stayed with our 4 young kids. They had tons to do at the playground plus the foam bubble pit, was huge! They had the best time ever and did not want to leave. The cabin was spectacular and perfect. Very cozy for a family of 6! Will definitely return if we're ever back out this way for another trip. Thank you for everything.
