We stopped by on our way home from Devil’s Den! What a fun surprise! I’m always up for something new! I’ve never had a hamburger like this before! I got the cheese mountain burger just the way it comes! Meat,cheese, sweet relish, onions and mustard! Loved it! The folks working were really friendly and told us some stories of its history. I want to go back for another burger and try the milkshakes! Made the old way!

Super quick and friendly staff. We made an hour long trip just for the nostalgia, this place has been around for a long time, family run. It's a local favorite known for their loose meat sandwiches. It was ok. Fries were a little undercooked for my taste. We might try it again when passing through, maybe. Ate in the lot, no dine in option. Tables out back.

Been one of the best Ice cream stops in the North West Arkansas Boston Mountains. Been here for over 60 years now. Stopped here with my dad back in the late 70's and still go out of my way to pick up a shake!

Been wanting to try this place but was told they only take cash. We finally had cash to try and we ordered a pineapple shake and it was just a yellow colored vanilla shake. Our change was not correct, we were given a penny instead of a nickle. Parking is dusty and very uneven. The vanilla cone was good, but melted super fast in the 100 degree weather and was given 1 napkin over the cone. Overall experience was not good.

Service was fine.Atmosphere was hot and dusty.The Mountain Burger wasn't a burger at all. It's some kind of sloppy joe. And the portion size was akin to what McDonalds gives you on a regular cheeseburger. No sides other than fries or a bag of chips.Keep going south to Alma or north to West Fork and east at Braums or Sonic, unless you're just dead set on nostalgia or supporting a small business.

The Dairy Dream is a great place for a burger and shake! They're Mountainburgers are different than a regular burger, but taste great! They have regular burgers as well if they're not to your liking. The shakes taste so good on a hot day. I highly recommend this place then going to Lake Fort Smith State Park or the dinosaur park right down the road.

Drinks were good. French fries were fair. I got the home style burger and it was probably the worst burger I had ever eaten. Bland and flavorless frozen patty, that honestly I wasn't even sure was beef, looked like it may have been 60/40 fat ratio. Price wasn't the worst but for the quality should have been way way less. Maybe their other menu items are better but I'm not risking it. I won't be ordering again.

Line out to the street in the middle of nowhere on a holiday Sunday! But, omg. The service couldn't be matched anywhere. And the burgers will make your tongue slap your brains out! Try the Mountburger and then will me all your worldly goods in gratitude and you'll feel like you got the best of me! Didn't take pics because we were too busy shoving the yummy down our gullets.

The mountain burger is just a sloppy Joe but worse, probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. The fries were inedible. The only redeeming part of the meal (and the only reason it gets more than 1 star) was the milkshake, they were OK.

The dairy dream is iconic roadside food. Get the mountain burger (a loose meat sandwich- like a maderight) and a shake or a cherry Dr Pepper. The ice is awesome!

Not worth the trip! We got the homestyle burger, it was small (compares to the Mc double, only with one piece of meat). The fries were small also but were cold and soggy. Exploring Arkansas got fooled with the burgers so we got fooled by exploring Arkansas. Won't be back.

Unique small town "burger" and ice-cream shack. I may be biased since I grew up here, but this place is great. If you are passing through during the summer when they are open, stop by and try out the unique Mountain Burger.

Stopped in with my family on our way home to Fayetteville from Ft Smith , thought it looked charming and places like that usually have the best ice cream .. The kids and i all got shakes and my husband got a burger ... My chocoalate shake didn't impress me at all it tasted like they just added chocolate syrup to vanilla and stirred it up ... The biggest issue we had was my husbands burger .. After 2 bites he asked me to take a bite bc it tasted off to him .. And he was right ..It was horrible .. The meat looked weird , like the color was off and it had no taste ! We definitely will never eat there again and we dont recommend it ...

The people here are extremely rude I swung by on my way home 20min till closeting time just for a drink and they told me they where closed even though the sign clearly said they were open when I mentioned it he simply said ya where still closed. I ate here once years ago and the food wasn’t that great but after my recent experience I would never go here again or recommend to anyone best burgers in town goes to “neon moon” I would recommend everyone to go there instead it’s right down the road , people are nicer and it’s way cleaner then here I would also recommend pizza den they have good hand dipped ice cream and there pizza is amazing

You're location has been permanently stored so that I can easily return for another when near! I can ony imagine the food is mouthwatering!

Wonderful family owned operation. Home of the Mountainburger! If you've never had one, you're missing something great. Their Frito pies, soft serve ice cream, and floats are delicious, too! Dairy Dream is a true blast from the past.

My Father and Step mom ate there today. They said the mountain burger was ground up meat similar to sloppy joes with no flavor and very small portion. The Fries were over cooked. They said it was not worth the price and would not eat there in the future.

We were very disappointed in the mountain cheese burger. Expecting a burger- we received sloppy joe meat (about 2 spoons full) w/cheese and one pickle on a very small bun. $3 was a bit much. Order of fries pretty small.
