I’ll have to say Walgreens did a wonderful job today. The tech at window, Ashli, was the sweetest, kindest person they have ever had at that window. She was smiling, respectful, helpful. She helped me with a coupon to save us money. Thats the type of person that needs to be at the window…we could do with a lot more Ashli’s in this world.

I agree the pharmacy is not properly staffed, causing long wait times.....overall I think the pharmacy staff as well as the store staff are wonderful. Very helpful and professional. As for the pharmacy, I do agree the lines can be long. But not enough to make me change pharmacies.

Made appointment online for Covid & flu vaccinations at this location. Was served promptly by Stacy, who went above & beyond to figure out how to coordinate my insurance for payment. She was friendly and patient, and gentle when administering the shots. Highly recommended.

I was very please with the customer service. I called to find out if they had an item that I was needing for my son (I did not want to drive all the way over and find out it wasn't available). When I got there, I was on my way to the kid's section but soon the casher called me at asked me if I was the one that had called. I turned around and he was waving from the casher station with the item on his hand. I was very please and surprised. I was not expecting to have the item waiting for me at the casher. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this store and the staff.

Although you generally pay higher prices here, if you watch for sales and virtual coupons, you can usually find a deal. The pharmacy staff is generally friendly, but the pharmacists are intrusive and sometimes overstepping: if they don't agree with your doctor, they can and will refuse to fill prescriptions. I've had my diagnoses for going on 20 years and have been seeing my current doctor for over 10 years. My prescriptions have been tweaked here and there, but most have not changed in that time. Even though I've had certain dosages for many years, the pharmacists have only recently questioned them and forced my doctor (a real MD from a reputable school with decades of experience) to lower my dosage in one case. If you have a good relationship with your current pharmacist, I'd suggest you don't switch to Walgreens. I've only stayed with Walgreens because the location is convenient for me. Best of blessings to you!

Absolutely the slowest pharmacy checkout in the country. There are 3 registers to checkout in the pharmacy, but I’ve never seen more than one person checking people out and that person always seems confused. There can be 8 people standing in line, but it doesn’t seem to matter because no one will open another register…ever

They tell me my meds are out if stock, possibly for a month or we don't know when we our next shipment will get here, so I go to Harps pharmacy. The next month after holding my script for several days they finally told me since I shopped at Harps they would no longer fill my prescriptions

Absolutely awful. Was treated like complete garbage by the lady at the counter and the pharmacist. Charged my card for an in authorized amount for a medicine that was cancelled days prior. Even with proof of it cancelled they said they would not fix their mistake and they threw the medication in the trash. So RUDE and unprofessional and will never use again.

I went into my local Walgreens for new skincare. A staff member named Vanessa listened to me describe my needs and recommended products for me. I couldn’t have chosen the best product because Walgreens has so many good products to offer. I am so glad she was their to assist me. She has made a loyal customer in me. I couldn’t have done it without her.

Pharmacy personnel are lazy as they can be here. Wife waited there forever, pharmacy said they had to verify insurance and call someone. Wife went to the counter and seen a girl sitting there eating chips and drinking and hasn’t even called yet. Tired of everyone being lazy and not doing their job there’s several other people out there that would definitely do better

Spent over an hour trying to get my prescriptions approved on secondary insurance. Gave up and drove back home over 15 miles. On the way home got a text my order was ready for pick up! Tried to call to verify and was more than 5 callers waiting! Didn’t wait. Just called today to see if order was ready. I told her yesterday had been a zoo. Rude and overbearing attitude young lady said yes and stapled together and rudely said goodbye! I know it is difficult to get help and I am not sure how much training they get but customer services sometimes very lacking. Not all of them. Some are very helpful and caring.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!!!!!!! WORST WALGREENS TO EVER EXIST!!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE IT LESS THAN ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE THAT. After getting out of the emergency room and bringing my script here as it was the only one still open at 5:50. I drop my script off and they say I will get a text when it's ready. They did not give me a projected time just that I would be texted. Checked my phone every 5 minutes. Nothing over and over. Even texted that number HELP so I could get more info after it had been well over an hour. Still no sign and I see they're supposed to close at 8. So I rush over and get there at 7:55. Yes I know it was close to 8 but I sat behind another car which sat there forever talking to the pharmacist so instead I pulled over to the second lane to make sure they seen I was there. 7:59 the other car finally stops talking to her and drives away. It was not 8. It was not 8:01. We ring the bell and she lets it ring for a minute. Then finally answers and says they're closed at 8 and will be back open in the morning at 8 and slams the window down. The most heartless thing I've ever experienced by a medical "professional" (I use quotes because she is obviously not a professional). I live over 2 hours away. Drove all the way to mountain home from Springfield due to that emergency room there making me wait 8 hours. So I drove here to find actual care.I LITERALLY JUST GOT OUT OF THE ER IM IN SO MUCH PAIN. And the pharmacist DENIED me my meds. I'm supposed to be in another state tomorrow for surgery. I can't even get the paperwork back to send to another pharmacist!!! I called the Walgreens store at 8:02 furious and crying at such an encounter. The manager says that was not what they are supposed to do and should be taking care of everyone in the line and then can close. This pharmacist literally robbed me. I will be finding out the name of the pharmacist and filling a complaint with Walgreens. I have always used Walgreens as my pharmacy in every state but never will again now thanks to this encounter. This pharmacist should be removed from their position as they are obviously not there to care about people and no one should be treated the way they are willing to treat someone.

The Mountain Home location has been iffy for quite some time, but lately? No. Half an hour and longer wait times in the drive through. A counter person who has been heard to be loud, patronizing and dismissive to people on the phone more than once, and who rolls her eyes at what she's hearing. Can't fill a prescription that has been filled at that location for years...incomplete information about what could still actually be filled...then no offer to check out armfuls of other items after 15 minutes of waiting in line. Clearly no care at all for customers' needs.

Went to pick up my prescription at the Mt. Home store. Gave my name and the lady, very rudely, said what can i do for you. I said i needed to pick up my script, i got a text it was ready. She said nope, you have nothings so i asked if it was sent to Harrison, she said yes. So i asked what i needed to do. She said she coumd fill it but it would be the afternoon before it was ready. Very rude and acting like she was gonna make me wait all day. I told her i would just drive to harrison. I will not be using that store again. No reason the lady had to be rude. Just uncallef for. Now i will be super late getting home.

There's a couple of nice employees in the pharmacy, the tall pharmacist with the glasses is nice and helpful. However, during the entirety of trying to help my son get balanced medications to help with his ADHD, which has been so debilitating for him that the school has only been allowing him to go to school until lunchtime, I have been treated terribly. They treat me as if I'm an addict when I've had to switch his meds because they made my son lose his personality, or when they weren't helping him at all. They are ADHD medications for a 6 year old child. I was told there were issues with his meds and dismissed when I asked them to try and fix it. Thankfully the pharmacist helped correct the mistake. But this has been consistent. And with them also treat my sister like trash when there's issues with her antidepressants, it's ridiculous. These people are out here trying to function, and trying to not kill themselves, and this behavior and treatment is unacceptable. Very disappointed, switching pharmacies finally.

I have been getting prescriptions filled at Walgreens for years, and have just moved to this area (Mountain Home) and I have never had a pharmacist (Garrett) be so rude and unprofessional. If he does not care about people getting their prescriptions, then he needs to get another job. Customers have the options of going to other businesses, customers are the ones that pay your wages.

I moved here Memorial Day and have been utilizing the services of this Walgreens since. The staff has been professional and efficient towards me with almost every transaction. The Pharmacists have answered my questions readily and the technicians have filled my prescriptions and been friendly. I've noted the diligence towards sanitation and disease prevention practiced by the staff. The location is busy and I understand the pressure they are experiencing on a daily basis.

I see a lot of bad reviews on here, not sure what’s going on but I wanted to share my experience. A few months ago I traveled to Lake Norfolk with my parents for a family vacation. Upon arriving my father (a double lung transplant patient) realizes he has forgotten all his medications at the house. We were in a panic as we had just drove 6 hours to get here. I called this pharmacy and told them the situation. I gave them our information and they made some phone calls. They called back with news that they got all the prescriptions approved and will be ready for pick up. This was on Saturday. They told us they only had one day of his rejection medication but they had ordered some and should be there Monday. They called on Monday and delivered as they promised. Everyone was super nice even found coupons to help with the cost. I know this is not my everyday pharmacy so I can’t speak on consistency but they went far above and beyond for me. I can’t thank them enough. God Bless all.

Whoever George is in the pharmacy needs some customer service training. Confrontational and of no help when trying to figure out my issue with insurance not showing. All he said was “I put the number in as you told me so I guess you’ll just have to pay full”. I basically had to beg him to talk to his supervisor to provide a solution other than “I don’t have a solution”. Then he gave me rude attitude when I asked when it would be filled tomorrow so I know when to come by to pick it up and discuss the insurance issue.

So incredibly slow time seems to stop when you’re waiting in line. Incompetent pharmacists that get the prescriptions wrong, never know what they’re talking about, and are just all around incompetent. I would recommend literally any other pharmacy in this town before them.

I like this pharmacy but seriously plz fix your system. You sent me the medication review of the 2 scripts my urologist sent you, I have the paperwork where he sent it and your system sees it and had me review but your pharmacy swears it didn't get the order. So I'm just dealing with the spasms this stent is causing because what else can I do? But thanks for the text telling me both are in. I'm taking my imaginary medication now lol. Oh that's better :)

This is an absolutely awful Walgreen’s pharmacy. (Not commenting on any other part of the store) If you get your scripts sent in at 9am, they won’t have them ready until after 5pm and sometimes it takes two more days. This wouldn't be such a big problem if they didn't continue to tell you they would only need fifteen minutes to get them filled. On several different occasions they have filled only one of my scripts and not filled the second one (scripts i get every month) simply because “they forgot”... even after THEY reminded YOU to ask for them to be filled via email. Most recently they refused to fill a prescription due to insurance issues... which was because Walgreens didn’t have the new card. Same insurance, different card. Rather than checking their information when we asked, they refused! And we had to do a run around with insurance and then again with walgreens.Ive been at different walgreens and they are nothing like this. In addition, when i go in, they can’t find my script or take ten minutes looking for it because it hasn't been properly sorted. They're thrown across/inside several different unmarked baskets. Which is understandable, they’re extremely understaffed from what I can tell. Which makes their lines extremely long.I very rarely leave reviews, so trust me if your insurance is not forcing you to work with this walgreens.... avoid it like the plague.

Walgreen’s is always understaffed and their “priority” line is anything but. Until now the drive through line has been slow, but competent. Today, the typical slow service of the drive through became worse than ever. It took just under nine minutes to be assisted and another six minutes before my “complex” transaction (picking up four prescriptions) could be “tackled”. The staff member was slow to greet me and after spelling my last name for her, she went off to search, came back and proceeded to help the person in the next lane who had just pulled up. To make matters worse, she continued to help the other car even though I had been waiting a long time and was in the middle of my transaction. Eventually, the woman seemed to remember that I was there and came back, but got distracted by something—a pretty bird, a shiny wrapper...perhaps a streak on the glass...maybe a dust mote?? Who knows? She then proceeded to help the next car that came up! Maybe she needed to rest from her HercuIean task. I was eventually served—which took less than a minute—but there was never an apology or mention of what she had done. They have just lost a longtime customer.

I hope the man who almost crushed me trying to park, because he was mad and wanted to go in and show his intelligence, comes on here to complain so he sees this! You were rude and belligerent. You shouldn't be driving. You had to wait 24 minutes in the car line? So sorry, some have been waiting in the store a bit longer than you. Do you know how to come back for your prescription? You seemed to be overly disoriented. I hope that wasn't pain medication you were after, because you clearly do not need more of that. I wish they had cops posted at these places. This morning when they told me it will be a while for my sons inhaler prescription to be filled they are still short handed, I asked, 'A while like a few minutes, or a while like hours?' You know what I did? I left and went back about the time they said to and guess what, mine was ready. After you got over your rant and out of the way. How hard is that? Dude get a grip, these people are not your dogs, when I got there this morning they were very busy, so I can imagine that didn't stop today just because you had a prescription to get filled. You are awful, you cut in front of someone else to gripe people out and yell like your Mayor McCheese or something! Do you know there's more to that prescription than putting that meds in a bottle? Do you also know you are not the only prescription they get a day? Shame on you, and seriously, let someone else do the driving for you. The next person you almost crush with your car might not be as friendly about it. To the sweet lady working the counter, I am sorry someone that age does not know how to treat other people, I am sorry he belongs to a group of privileged people who think it's their right to be first and by God, you better remember it, and since he or any of the others have the decency to say it, I am truly sorry you had to experience him or others like him. For everyone else reading this, Mountain Home people are usually really nice, but lately there is this group of people here who think things should happen right as they wish it and when it doesn't, they become dysfunctional ingrates. People come from all over around this area and parts of MO because it's a good size place, learn some patience, have some class, and stop being so hateful.Kind regards,Another customer

I thought sending my prescription to Walgreens instead of the other big business place would be convenient for me, even though I knew I would pay more. My doctor called in my scripts around 12:30 which was okay because I was working until 2:00 anyway. I was so WRONG. I had to wait for 45 minutes to pick up prescriptions that had been called in 2 hours before I came to the store. I was standing next to the nurse when she was calling them in at 12:30. I was told it would be 5 mins the first time; after 20 mins I went back; I was then told they were working on them and it would be 5-10 more minutes. So I waited 10 min and was told they were filling the bottles now it would be a few more minutes. Finally I was told they were done only because the last time I did not leave the window. My script had a total of 12 pills, two scripts I had before and had filled at Walgreens but they made me wait for a consult. As long as I have a choice, I will never use Walgreens again. It is more expensive and not any kind of convenient.

I had been a customer here for around 10 years. Over that time this pharmacy has gone down hill terribly and i have transferred to another pharmacy. But I'm not writing this about myself. I have a family member that recently had surgery and a long hospital stay. We have had to take her back in to the ER a few time's and yesterday the ER attempted to call in a prescription for antibiotics. they called it in twice and after being put on hold numerous time's they left a message. also we refilled one of her normal meds that she has taken daily for years. on her app on her phone it said in progress on the refills and nothing about the antibiotics, we attempted to call was placed on hold for 30 min before being hung up on with out ever talking to a human, we tried again. Same thing happened again. today when i drove the 45 min round trip to pick up the antibiotic that she needed yesterday i was informed that the other 2 prescription's were still not ready. the reason i was given was the price. She has taken this medicine for years from this pharmacy, it has always been the same price. I was told i could wait for it. the other medicine was under review. when i asked why i was told that she wasn't sure but she released it and it would be ready later today. I have no doubt that I was not the nicest to this lady and i kept telling her i DO NOT BLAME HER. But this pharmacy needs to make some major changes. People should be able to talk to a human being when they call and if a medication is called in it should be filled in a timely manor especially if a ER or a doctor calls in a prescription they should get a human being on the phone. Some of the staff is great but some are rude and disrespectful. If this pharmacy cant fill prescriptions in a timely manor then they shouldn't take on more and more customers. I realize they are a business but there has to be a balance between quality and quantity. Now i will step down off my soap box.

The pharmacy IS NO LONGER OPEN 24 HOURS which was there one asset, very disappointing ! I sometimes get partial fills and have to wait a few days to complete the prescription.Drive up window is invariably backed up,the one drive up is often out of order so expect long wait times in drive up,they sometimes tell you your prescription is not quite ready and to drive around and get in the BACK of the drive up line !!!!!!! Lines can be long inside as well, understaffed.Avoid between 3-7 pm lines are SUPER LONG ..Main checkout counter for the rest of store is okay. Walgreen's has weekly special check ads.Get a balance reward card to get specials.Parking lot poorly set up,Use caution when parking,I have seen 3 minor fender benders.

Our prescriptions are NEVER ready. On this visit I had to take my ill 2yo in. They told me they would need to check the voicemail to see if they had the prescription yet. We waited 30 min and had to get back in line to even get acknowledged. We were then told no one had even bothered to check the messages yet. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Well, I must be a special person, because every employee and cashier in this store have been just angels. It's the other customers that I have problems with. They all seem to think the world revolves around them.

WORST PHARMACY IN TOWN! Every month, nothing but excuses, “short staffed”, “out, on order”. Every single month they’re out of insulin and Dexcom products that I need and they have to order. Every. Single. Month! It gets old. Recommend using others if you can, unfortunately thanks to Medicare’s brilliance, not many can fill under Part B, used to Harp’s could fill under Part D, was so much happier there. This store is always busy, another reason to go elsewhere, they SHOULD hire more staff.
