This was a motorcycle trip through Arkansas west to Colorado.Location: 3/5: Busy area, lots of traffic, especially in the afternoon and dinner time. Hard to spot unless you are looking for a local diner. We were headed to Arby's when we saw Blue Diamond Cafe at the last second.Ambiance: 3/5: Fun and inviting atmosphere. Tables close together. No real motif or vibe going on except for old diner.Value for $$: 3/5: We had the mozz, tacos, and cheese curds for appetizers. All appetizers were finished off promptly.The Reuben sandwich was a hard NO for getting again..not for any price. Two of us got the Petit Jean Italian Dog...very tasty, very filling, and at a reasonable $7. The beef nachos were finished off, but would not be tried again if we are ever in the area, especially not for $10.Service: 5/5: Awesome! Start to finish, great service.Hygiene: 3/5: The tables, chairs, and floor were old but clean. The plates, cups, and utensils were clean. The bathroom was small and acceptable.Cuisine: 4/5: See Value...we truly loved every bite.Recommend: 5/5: We have already recommendedBlue Diamond Cafe to several friends, and, if we are ever in the area, we will be go back.

Passing through and decided to tried it. Service was very slow. They were busy and poorly managed. Took long time to get food which was just two sandwiches. Waitress did not have a good demeanor for service. I asked what was in the chicken salad. She said walnuts and pineapple. She didn’t say egg, which I dislike. They finally brought out sandwiches with a very small serving of filling which turned out to be more like egg-salad - lots of egg and little chicken. I didn’t try to get something else because I didn’t want to be there another 45 minutes! And not cheap. We won’t be back.

We're in town visiting Petit Jean State Park. Stopped by here last night and was so impressed that we came back tonight. Last night we had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer (homemade). I had the BBQ sandwich (they cook their own BBQ-homemade) and my wife had the catfish plate. We shared a hot peach pie for dessert (homemade). Tonight we had deep fried mushrooms as an appetizer (pictured...Loved the homemade ranch dressing!!!). I ordered the chicken salad sandwich (homemade) and my wife had the shrimp plate (pictures of both). We topped off tonight's meal with the hot apple pie topped with butter/brandy sauce and cinnamon ice cream (pictured). Delicious! If you're in town, don't miss this place. The prices are very reasonable (less than $40 both nights...not including the tip), the service is GREAT, and it's a really clean restaurant.

The food and service here is great! They offer a good variety of food as well as desserts. The fried green beans were really good and so was the Cuban sandwich. Be sure to save room for dessert if you have a sweet tooth! Give the Blue Diamond Cafe a try if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

If I could give this place more stars I would. Clean everything. Friendly service. Had such a hard time deciding what to pick from the menu. So many good items, sandwiches, hamburgers, fish, chicken, salads, nachos, and ice cream. Ended up getting the patty melt on marbled rye. Also they have fried pickles which they batter and season in house. Soooo good.So uhmm yeah, great place to eat.

I had the Italian Hot Dog with cheese, chili, slaw, onions, & mustard. My wife had the Petit Jean Hot Dog. Both were great. I don't know the waitresses name, but she gave excellent service. She didn't write down anyone's order, but was getting all the orders right. She checked on a regular basis to make sure everything was ok.

I highly recommend trying this restaurant . the restaurant was nice and heard it was our first time there and we went for the exotic sandwiches. we enjoyed our meal the food was awesome. When we left the cook wanted to know how I liked it. Give a few tips on how I would change it up. I'm excited to see if they changed it up the next time I go in. God bless stay safe

The burger was good. The fries were good. The drink was perfect for fountain drinks. They lost points because I ordered a footlong and got a regular 6 inch hot dog. I refused to go back through the line. We are from out of town. Getting the order right and being more friendly would help my rating of this restaurant bc the food was good.

Yummy! I read the reviews before we came, and got the fried pickles. Delicious! Catfish dinners were great, cheese fries were great, make sure you get something with the homemade ranch. Service was sooo friendly and attentive, because we got refills so many times. I will be back!

Love this place. Some may think that it is on the expensive side, but they only use quality ingredients, as well as the meat for sandwiches and hotdogs comes from Petit Jean Packing. Service is always great and employees friendly. These days, that alone is worth paying extra.

Make sure you order 45 minutes in advanced for lunch. Was told 20 minutes for order to be ready. When I got there I had to wait another 25 minutes till our food was ready.Don't order the French dip sandwich, it was really dry and not as good as Arby's. Fried catfish was ok. Not the best but good enough.

Great local cafe. They also over lunch plate specials that change daily. Save room for desert and a homemade fried pie.
