You need to hire a secret shopper and see how your employees treat paying customers. It would kill them to check anyone out. The force everyone into using self checkout and when you ask for help it's like pulling teeth. They do not greet you or thank you for coming in. When we needed a bag of ice and were forced into self checkout there was no barcode to purchase ice. We then see the employee in the isle and she can see we are struggling but we had to ask for her help and she acted extremely annoyed and said rudely shoulted there is a Barcode at the register. There was not. So she went back to what she was doing and I once again let her know there was not a barcode she went over and found the one behind the other checkout counter and instead of checking us out seeing that we were struggling walked off again. No niceness what so ever. We accidently scanned the barcode twice because it was just a barcode for small ice and large ice taped together and the girl had then walked off. So then we see another employee walk from the office where she was sitting on her phone and come up and we ask her for help. Once again she was rude as well. If you hired a secret shopper you would be able to see how they treat their customers as this has not been the only time I've had this experience. It is every time. And your receipts at this location do not have survey options listed on them so I googled to find this survey. I have always been a fan of dollar general but it seems now there is self check the employees think they do not have to help customers at the Midway location. There is multiple DG near us and this one I dread going to because of the rude employees every time. Does no one train them in friendliness? Horrible experience. If I could rate this store on friendliness it would be negative 10 our of 10. Please look into this store as I know I am not the only one to experience your incredibly rude employees at the midway location.

The shelves are never stocked. I get there's a distribution problem but, most the items are still in boxes on carts. They definitely need more employees there. Between cashiering and sticking they don't have enough time to get things done. The location is convenient just don't expect to go in and get what you want.

Regularly smells like weed in the morning, which I don't usually mind. However when the opening employee is clearly present because thier car is there, and they don't open on time, it makes one wonder about the ability to perform. Myself and multiple people waited outside the store well past opening time, and finally gave up and left.

Tiny, crowded store and one employee was friendly and spoke. The one who checked us out, older lady, seem to be having a bad day and it surely showed. Hope it gets better. I won't be back here, but to the one lady who was smiling and speaking to every customer, rock on sweetie you are awesome!!

Your always greeted with a smile! You always seem to have to wait a bit checking out, but usually that's only because they are so busy. Truly a one stop shop if you just need a couple thing to keep from having to run into town!!

The most convenient store in midway, and possibly the only convenient store in midway. They have a broad selection of low price odds and ends, and if you don't feel like driving 20 minutes to the nearest large retail store, this is your best bet. Employees are friendly and helpful, selection is good, and the store is kept pretty clean.

My sister & I live in Midway. We frequent this store often and have found it to be a great place to find all kinds of value buys as well as a helpful and a friendly staff! Certainly, we have ready access to the widely known Giants of retail in Mountain Home such as Walmart "More For Less" ... but have long since discovered the exhausting chaos they put on a person who goes in there. No thank you!!! 👎👎All the people who work at this Dollar General we've met are just great but ... the most outstanding employee is Barb, "hands down"! We never fail to see her stocking, sorting, unloading carts full of heavy merchandise ... and readily there if a customer needs assistance. This woman is amazing! Polished, cheerful, informative and is an exemplary example of someone who not on values their job but her role in supporting the public's retail needs!Today when we came in, Barb was "manning the front register". We were again "caught back" by how clean, well stocked and organized the place was! It usually is but today it felt especially refreshing to shop since we had many, many things to purchase.We're both retired, had businesses thru the years and recognize the tremendous commitment & patience it takes to work retail. In the addition we have homes in, our neighbors also depend on this store. Here's a giant "WELL DONE" to them! Please accept our deep appreciation for their hard work! PS: their obvious commitment extends to following the Covid-19 parameters for safety to the letter! Stay Safe to all!!! 👍

I had been camping and my towels we're needing to be replaced. I found this store before I went across the border and ask the clerk about towels he pointed me right to the perfect direction of some nice towels I picked up for and then picked up a pile of clearance clothes service was very friendly

I love shopping at the dollar store. Rated only 3 stars because the digital coupons never work at the self checkout. I mean what's the point of having the digital option on the self checkout if it never works!

Always friendly faces greeting you when you walk in, the store is always clean and never hard to find what you need! Everything I've bought from them has never had any issue. The staff are always helpful and friendly!

Too crowded store in MidwayArkansas there awyas out of everything.. and the store on cournter of 62 and college is way to crowded as well can't get around to get yr items without bumping into something that is in the way they're always way too crowded with overstockI hope they end up closing the one in Midway and the one on 62 and college by KFC grocery stores suck now the one on 5 South that is the best one we have in this area

Went to purchase a Trac phone that was advertised on sale and buy minutes. Unfortunately, staff had no access to the phone case due to not being able to locate keys to open the case. Luckily I found a similar phone at Walgreens and purchased it there, sorry I couldn't find what I seen advertised in your store. Maybe next time, NOPE

Clean and well organized. They put too much into a small store, rows can be crowded. I like the selection and the prices..... easy to find and lots of parking.

Longest line I've ever seen Computer would not accept a check. They had to reboot register. Was in line over 40 minutes. I felt sorry for the guy, he was really embarrassed. The reader wouldn't process the check until after rebbot.

I was in the store Dollar general in mountain home and it was terrible they had all their carts were out and about scattered around no one in there doing their job stuff all over the place and what I really didn't like was the clerk was actually rude to me as far as I know she wouldn't give me a decent answer went I told her you did you clicked it 6 times instead of 5and she got real short with me and well I didn't appreciate that very much so that's what I think about that one should have gave it to the zero start anyways John

This store is dirty, unorganized, items are priced incorrectly, long waits, and sketching rude employees(Cindy). Go out of your way to the store in Mountain Home or Bull Shoals. Do not waste your time here!!!
