Great little store, gotta say they probably have the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. And I eat a lot of chicken. Chicken is soft and the pickles are amazing. I love stopping at this store when driving through to camp in the area, highly recommend getting a chicken sandwich here after your hike🏞️❤️

Has food specials & don't 4 get to use ur James's Food Card for extra specials. They deliver &They have grocery items that Wal Mart don't carry. The employees do an excellant job for their customers.

Shopping at James is always a pleasant experience. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Some items are a bit pricey but they make up for this by running fantastic deals. They also have some of the best produce and meat in the area outside of the farmer's market. The store and parking lot are both always clean and well kept. Plus you get the satisfaction of supporting a local business.

I remember shopping at James when it was at a different location when I was a little girl. It was one of my favorite stores to go to and unfortunately I have to car pool in order to go into Mena to buy groceries other wise I would frequent this place much more often.

James's is a great place to shop for food. They have better quality meats than Walmart and if you want something cut a certain way they will do. I about $150 worth of meat for a cook out and it was cut they way I wanted in 3 mins. Also they have AL kinda of produce to choose from. I love cooking and it's a great to shop for home cooked meals or exquisite dishes.

I visit thos store on nearly a daily schedule. It's always clean, organized and the clerks are very friendly. While prices are a hair higher than your local SuperStores, you make up that difference in the quality of such products like meat and dairy.

Price gouging is a big problem with this place. How they get away with selling a 5 lb roll of hamburger for over $30 is beyond me! Especially during a declared natural disaster!! I would be embarrassed if I were the owners. The staff is very friendly though. I'm used to Wal-Mart so it's hard for me to locate a lot of items most of the time but I make due. If I had the choice I wouldn't shop here.

Fair selection. High prices. Watch the meats and bakery goods. Got some bad doughnuts once, but they gave me a refund immediately. Did I mention excellent customer service? Also, best place in town for to go pizza.

The store and sections that are inside of it are layed out greatly, Some parts are organized but some parts are not but does that really matter? No it doesn't cause it's a great store to shop at! Fair prices and you can easily find what you need!

When I first moved here from Houston in 2016, I near about vomited at the prices and it being called "super saver" in TX I could get 3 avocados for a buck, or 5 lemons/limes. Chorizo always under a buck etc. What l learned is there is zero competition here, and we get pretty much leftovers in this town as nobody wants to ship out this way, plus Arkansas is overall overpriced in food and overtaxed in sales tax. Yes we have cheaper property taxes but pay thousands more on goods. Theres little job growth here with it being a dry county tourism is stunted, so the youth resort to uncle Sam, causing more price hikes. For our area the prices can be better than it's only competitor, if you shop sales only. Get the ads, shop what is on sale, on clearance and sometimes they get good deals on random items not in ad so it's worth looking around, especially when they get a round of meat products that are Uber cheap. One example was a few weeks they randomly had grass fed beef cheaper than wally world , we grabbed a few extra every time we went in and helped our budget.

Although local reviewers led me to this establishment, I was gravely disappointed to find mediocre (cured, discolored) meat at prices well above the local big box store. Furthermore, other goods seemed to be priced much too high to be justifiable. Perhaps that's the price you pay in Mena trying to keep as much money as you can locally but I took my business elsewhere.

Always friendly and easy to go and pick up things quicker than the only other competitor in town which is Walmart. True, that Walmart is cheaper on some things, but James stocks and things that Walmart refuses to sell at the Mena location.

I love shopping at james today we got fish and fried okra and Mike said their okra and fish was really good. Me and JJ got chicken strips and potato wedges which was good but JJ said it was a little spicy for him he's only four. But then a salad to make for later.
