We used lumber one for quite a bit of materials and services when we were building our home a year and a half ago and the quality of the work they did installation wise has left us with costly and extensive repairs. Our shower was installed incorrectly and as a result it leaks during every use and water has started coming out of the flooring in the bathroom as a result, which means we are looking at floor replacement and mold treatment in that room. There are gaps where the flooring should go into doorways in other parts of the house, and our carpet is starting to come up in the bedrooms. I would not use them again or recommend them for any kind of flooring/tile installation, it has ended up costing us big time. Attaching a few photos of the flooring by the doors and the carpet that is bubbling up as examples of installation quality.

I love this store/garden area! I have been a long time patron and it is still the best home improvement store. The people are really what makes it stand above. ALWAYS so helpful. Was backing out and having trouble and the garden man saw me and came out of the garden area just to help me. Great service!!

My boyfriend and I visit Lumber One probably 2-4 times a week, considering we do maintenance for his grandmother's camper rental property. It's close, never crowded, we can order online and they bring it out to us, or walk around and shop or have something delivered by mail or the same day. I gave 4 stars because we have never been able to use our Ace Members Reward Card because most of the cashiers can't figure out the system and we don't have time to wait. So we spend more money than we should when we're Reward Member's.

I previously worked with Rideout Searcy for our previous project on the Little Red River. I was always a huge fan of them and was honestly skeptical initially about working with L.O.My salesperson is Brad Hardwick. He has excelled in pretty much all areas and I admit forthright that I am not the easiest person in the world to impress or work with. Brad even made multiple in-person visits and today came out to help me install a sash in one of our windows that our workers cracked.Honestly; I am impressed with the attention to detail and the Esprit de’ Corps attitude from Brad and his entire team. I know that the prices and products are exemplary; but the service has been as well. What more could you want in a building partner? Kudos!!

Worst lumber in the state, absolutely atrocious quality. Here you are guaranteed to consistently find torn up, twisted, banana shaped boards, covered in dirt, mud, footprints and stains, that are split on both ends. Even the straightest boards are crooked on one end like a hockey stick. If you get a decent board out of an entire bundle, it was purely coincidental. You are also guaranteed to have at least a 45 minute wait for any order more than a half dozen boards. I have waited before for 2 or 3 hours, just to get mediocre quality. Also there is only one toilet in the whole building so if you're stuck waiting on lumber (you will be) and have to go, you are going to wait on that too. However the staff is very nice, it's closer than Little Rock, and cheaper than Home Depot, so 2 stars.

If I could give a 0 I would. Ordered 1 8 ft 1x6 cedar was told to pick up in the back. The warehouse asked me to park outside and they would bring it. After 15 minutes I called the manager. In another 10 minutes I got the board. 25 minute wait time and saved a dollar verse Home Depot. Never again

Edited to update about garden center. Must be under new management. Plants are sad. Slim selection. General disarray in outdoor store area. Very sad because this has been my favorite place to shop for plants. Went into the main store when it was not busy. Encountered many employees and none acknowledged me nor my back and forth wondering looking for items I couldn’t find. No one asked if I needed help. I passed several employees as I was searching the isles. I won’t ask for help from people who act like they don’t want to do their jobs and pretend their aren’t customers in the store. Only the cashier (black male) was pleasant with a greeting and nice to work with. A couple of employees were chatting up customers they seemed to know at the front as I was leaving they still did not acknowledge me. No thank you, have a nice day (except my cashier-I will stand in a line to wait for him next time)) I expect more from an Ace hardware store. Other stores search out customers and make themselves available for assistance, and very friendly. Just moved to Mayflower and expect that good small town vibe. Not here!!

I've really got to start dating my reviewsUpdate: November 2023Not much has changed. Still have fairly good prices, very helpful and friendly staff. They have an old fashioned nut and bolt aisle, that you can find things here that you can't find at any of the big box stores that I've found. If you're looking for specialties, this is where to go.Only my second time going. Helpful staff, and better prices than the big stores (will just call them H & L). I won't say their selection is as wide as the big stores, but they have most everything needed at good prices. I will be a long-time customer of this place. I will be going back, as hardware & lumber needs arise. If this store is any indication, they got the commercial right "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks".

Do not use them if your not willing to wait an extremely long time to get material from the lumber yard. Yes, there prices are good, but your going to waste more time waiting for your material than is worth. I've never come here and it not taken more than 2 hours to get material from the yard. I will not be coming back in the future.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. Called the store before going. Got a price of the product at $84.99 per roll. When I got there they charged $118.99 per roll. Said their worker made a error on pricing.Waited 54 minutes to be loaded. Finally, my items were delivered. Of course they were the wrong items after I got home and opened them.Called them and they stated they could not deliver the correct items to me. I had to drive another 35 miles to return the wrong items and wait in line again to get the correct ones.Good Bye Lumber OneNEVER AGAIN.

Sent my son for a 2x6 for a job. This is what he got. No edge at all on over half of both sides. If I had wanted scrap lumber that's what I would have asked for. Very disappointed. Called 15 minutes before posted closing time and was told we're closed call back......

Great service. I needed some Douglas fir to test some stain and the employees went out of their way to find some then cut it down so that I could get it home. Highly recommended.

Been shopping here since they opened. Came in today and for the first time they didn’t have what I needed. The lady that helped me was apologetic. Always wonderful customer service and shooting 99/100 on anything I’ve ever needed.

It is a rare I write a review. This is not about quality of product but lack of concern for the actions of employees. One evening two men in lumber one truck forced Our property gate open with a company truck. they had the wrong address. We have never done business with Lumber one. When my husband approached them, they jumped in the truck and left. A call to the management gave the impression of responsiveness and concern. . He indicated he would give the information to the President of the company and we would receive a call on how to fix our gate. Never received a call.

I place a large (over $2500) CASH order with 3 weeks ago. I paid for delivery. The order was not delivered on time, and has still not been delivered!LumberOne never contacted me about late delivery, or any issues. Customer service, Lisa, apologizes but cannot tell me why my order was not delivered or when I will get my order.I have had a contractor crew sitting around for two days because the supplies are not here. I am unable to get supplies elsewhere because I paid cash. I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future!

Employees were not friendly at allI was in the tile/flooring section for more than 30 minutes and not one person ask me if I needed help. And plenty were sitting around at their desk.So they lost any future business that I would’ve given them.Side note: my husband and I have bought tile and flooring from this place before. Whoa weee! What an experience I’ve had over the past two months. I give them two stars because they do have good priced lumber, that’s the ONLY reason. That being said, my entire experience with lumber one has been a complete nightmare. Trying to communicate with the associates in the lumber department, them saying they will “call you back” but NEVER do. Being told “you’re lumber is on the truck” multiple times but it not actually on the truck. Being owed a refund on 10 post and trying to get the refund 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laugh because that’s nearly impossible. then the lumber being back ordered and you have to go buy somewhere else (which is fine! I understand this!) The issue is they owe you 1700 for a refund and having to make ten million calls just to get a refund. Which I was never given a receipt. Trying to get them to do ANYTHING is almost impossible. Fast forward, three weeks later we STILL had not gotten our 1700. He tells me to call MY company and find out why. So I do. There is nothing on my end. I call back, am accused of lying. Am told the money HAS left their bank account, when in reality it hadn’t. After speaking with these people for a month and a half it takes me getting mad for something to happen. Finally get ahold of the lady in the back who was very kind and understanding to find out there was in fact an error on getting me my money back. This just tops the cake on my experience. It’s really really been a rough one.

Came to get about 75 pieces of wood. I arrived at 2:15 on Friday afternoon and didn’t leave until 5:15. 3 HOURS!!!After waiting for 45 min to have the lumber brought to my truck and watching my pick ticket get handed to 3 different people to pull my order . I watched all 3 of them put the ticket back on the clip board while the supervisor wasn’t watching and continued to screw off. So, I went into the sales counter to my salesman to ask what the deal was and he said good luck you have only waited 45 min most people wait 2-3 hours laughed and walked off. I waited another 45 min to finally get someone to bring my lumber out and there was some of the worst quality wood I have ever seen, so I began to load my own truck piece by piece checking everything. I found over 20 pieces that were unuseable so I went in to ask for a credit and was approached by a man that was upper management because he saw my frustration. I explained to him my situation and his response was have you tried hiring anyone lately? WOW!!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM!! Save yourself the headache and shop the other lumber yards in Arkansas!

If you want the worst customer experience this is the place to find it. Also if you order lumber and they give you an expected delivery date. They might deliver two to three months after the date they gave you. If you think you can just pick up the lumber you ordered. Read the reviews on here the workers in the yard take 3-4 hours to get you a couple pieces of lumber. So if you have a large order it will take days to get your lumber.

Called to price some pipe, they said they had 100 sticks on hand. Drove down there bought 25 sticks (about worth $2250.00) sat outside in the back for 45 min for them to figure out they had 0 sticks of pipe. Had to use a card because they don’t take checks. Took another 30 min to get a credit but now I’m stuck with a hold on my card. Short the money for a couple days. And I still have to go buy pipe.
