Called the bakery this morning to ask about picking up a ready to go cake. I got so lucky and spoke to Edith. She was able to make a cake exactly like I wanted same day. And she made a beautiful design on it! I don’t live in town but will drive to this bakery when I need a cake. Thank you so much!!

I usually go here for a quick, easy trip when I need a few things. Good parking. Usually good produce and meat selection. There is not a big selection of items overall, however. I have to get my diet drinks elsewhere, for example. Prices are a little higher, but the easy parking and smaller size store makes it easy for a quick shop.

There food prices are way to high. Produce you really have to look at I have found every time I go there mold on the fruit. Bad avocado look before you get the only nice thing I can say is the employees are very nice. I have told them about there produce problems awhile ago but apparently it was never fixed

Be careful when you check out. We discovered that we got over charged $3 when buying Powerade drinks. Sign said $1 each when you buy five. We were charged a total of $15.08 when it should have been only $11.69. My bad because I live too far to drive back and haggle with them. Learned my lesson. Find someone to check you out who knows what they are doing or make sure the register ranges it correctly.

I think the staff here needs some upkeep on attitude. There's only one nice woman here and she's an elder, so I really just feel terrible that she even has to work here. The rest usually make me uncomfortable upon entry, all the way to exit.

A comfortable, down home Store where everything was clean and fresh. The pharmacy people were so nice. Nothing against the Walmart in Greenbrier, but it was a nice change.

The employees are rude and not willing to help a customer. Very unprofessional. Store was clean. Great selection but Prices were high. Overall, the store was great they just should school their employees to be there for more than just a check. Not be so rude towards the customers.

This is a terribly ran business, not customer service friendly at all! If you’re a customer in the store with merchandise and the store is 2 minutes after closing, check out that customer instead of asking them to leave because you’d rather go home than finish your job and excel in service! Never known a business to treat customers this way! Absolutely terrible. Small town service at its worst.Sadly this isn’t the first time I’ve heard the employees have treated their customers this way at closing hours. Unfortunately I don’t know the owner of this location or I’d reach out to him/her directly. Please work to train your employees on this issue.

Absolutely love this store!! I haven been in a few harps but never shopped them a lot, I have recently moved to where this harps is the closest grocery store to me and will be shopping it, the store is clean and tidy, shelf’s well stocked, everyone is supper friendly including customers and staff, and the prices are reasonable. I give it 10 out of 10

Went last week during the storms. The door was locked by an employee who claimed he wasn’t sure if they were going to be open or not. I had to ask to be let in DURING THE STORM after literally all other employees told him they were still going to be open until their usual time of 9pm. Once inside, I started shopping and the others were very pleasant. However, I noticed the same worker playfully swinging a cane and telling his black coworker, “my grandpa used to beat black people with this”. 1st and last time here.

This is a small Harp's, but more than makes up for it in availability and customer service. I didn't see one single item out of stock, found everything I needed very easily, prices were great, and the cashier was so polite and quick. I will definitely be shopping here again, and soon.

Good selection, decent prices, however as I was looking for something I went towards two employees and the young lady with a bad attitude stopped talking to her co-worker and asked me if I needed something in a very rude tone. If this is the type of people they choose to hire then they don't need my money.

For such a small town like Mayflower, this is a well stocked store with a good variety of meat and fresh produce. Some items may cost a little bit more, but I am still saving money by not having to drive to Conway or NLR. The employees are also pleasant, helpful people.

Store was very nice, however I dont live in Mayflower, so I doubt I will be stopping back in anytime soon. The prices on everything was DOUBLE what I pay at the ten box. Unbelievable!

The hamburger meat they sell at this store is absolutely ridiculous, what they call 80/20 is a complete joke. You can't hardly fry a hamburger pattie because these cooks down and your pattie will fall apart with an unbelievable amount of grease. For the price you pay for it they should get it right. We cooked a meatloaf and it looked like an earthquake across from so much fat in it. It is far from 80/20, i can't do my shopping there anymore. I may pick up a few items now and then but that's it. It's a shame, most of the people are great but I can save at least 50.00 going elsewhere.

Great for quick trips but they are extremely pricey and the selection is minimal. Back when they were Big Star you had to watch the dates of the merchandise as it would be expired. I don't rather or not that is still the case. But for run in items or something to fix for dinner when you are in a rush they will meet the need. I recommend heading to Conway however to do your major shopping.
