July 29, 2022 was a very hard day. We said goodbye to our 16 1/2 year old pug. Olivia Kaye was our third pug and we miss her still. Everyone at Maumelle Animal Clinic gave Olivia excellent care over her many years as a patient. The veterinarians, groomers, technicians, boarding and office staff loved her, too. Thank you for your gentle and compassionate way of helping both your patient and and us. It has taken me too long to publicly thank you.

Sam has been going here since I moved to Arkansas. Everyone is always super nice and Sam never minds going to the vet. Anyone that knows us knows Sam means so much to us and so it's nice taking him somewhere that is filled with people who seem to really like him and treat him so well.

Horrible customer service and if you have a darker skin I don't think your business is welcome there they treated me like I didn't even exist employees look directly in my face would not answer questions would not tell me the place my dog at 7:29 and they open up at 7:30. Never again

The staff and veterinarian were very considerate and kind, you could tell that they love animals and also, working there. My cat, Freya was adored and that's important to me, especially since she was scared and didn't understand the very trip. They are now the place I go for Freya and future other furry family members.

Maumelle Animal Clinic is the best home away from home for your baby or babies. Your baby/babies may need full service grooming. The staff provide the best customer service and will spoil your baby/babies rotten until the next visit. You don't have to worry about your baby or babies once you drop them off at Maumelle Animal Clinic.

You know I really like Dr. Overton and I know she works for "the company" BUT we recently had to put our little baby Winston down. I really think the caring is not their but the Money is what's important to this company. Before Winston died we spent money on cushings testing around 300. To find our everything was OK we were glad then more blood work to determine what was wrong 170. So the bad news kidneys failing. We had ordered compounding medication for Cushings 163.00 kd kidney food medication to slow down kidney disease around 50. For both don't have exact. Then came the ultimate let down. You are having to euthanize your pet and having a TERRIBLE time with this. The charge to KILL your baby is 125. HOW IS THAT RIGHT??? Then we ask about cremation and we were told the package deal would be around 500. Give or take. This is not caring for your pet its highway robbery. We did find a wonderful caring place that did take Winston's remains and cremated him for 150. With URN picking him up at the vet and footprints for our baby and then she brought him back home to us. The place is called CARING HEARTS and that is just a perfect name. Because they truly do care about your pet. Why does the cost of putting down your baby have to be SO EXPENSIVE??

Earlier this year we made the difficult and painful decision to put our dog down. The people at Maumelle Animal Clinic were so kind and thoughtful through the whole process. They were there to advise us, but gave us as much time as we needed to love on and our little buddy. Afterwards they sent us a nice note and a cast of his paw print. As difficult as it was, they handled it with professionalism and compassion.

They take excellent care of my animals. The owner is very competent, conscientious, and ethical. The telephone triage is something they handle flawlessly and accurately. The nurses and technicians are professional and competent. They provide a wonderful and predictable service each and every time.

I am so glad I took my dog to this clinic! The staff was incredible. I have a very anxious dog who has never done well at the vet prior. I finally decided to switch her vet and try somewhere new; now I wish it would made the move for her years ago. The nurse who saw us before the doctor was extremely kind, understanding of my dogs anxiety, and was very gentle and patient with her. They were even able to clip her toenails, which she has never let anyone do. The doctor was super helpful & was also very understanding to my dogs needs. I appreciate the doctor & all of his staff. The women at the front desk were great as well. If you are looking for a great place that understands skiddish dogs needs, Maumelle Animal Clinic is your place!

We have been customers for 25 plus years and have always had animals being very well cared for by Maumelle Animal Clinic. I trust them with my animals, Ms Betty is an excellent groomer and Dr Overton and now his daughter, also Dr Overton, have helped us keep our animals healthy and well. We also board our dogs there when out of town. Our dogs are always happy to go there which tells me they’ve been treated with love and care.

We were new patients and called to explain that our dog had an ear infection. Their scheduling options were limited so they mentioned they had a drop off, they could take a look at her and we could come and pick her up while we picked up our daughter from school. I didn’t think to ask if they were going to treat her and bill me without my consent, we were charged nearly $300 to treat an ear infection and when this has happened in the past at our previous vets in Little Rock and down the street in Maumelle the price was half that. I did not appreciate the fact that they did not confirm the price with me prior. Unfortunately we will be moving to the Boulevard veterinary clinic.

Before bringing my cat here for her annual visit and shots I shopped around other vets for pricing. When I brought my cat in I was told I would have to bring her back in 3 weeks for follow up shots. I specifically asked if there would be any additional charges from the $215 I'd already spent so I would know what to budget and was specifically told it was a follow up so there would not be any additional charges.When I bring my cat in for the followup I was told it would be $140+ for the two completion vaccines. When I pointed out that I had specifically asked about additional costs when I made the followup appointment so I would know what to budget I was told it was included. I had to throw a fit to get them to reevaluate and the girl was charging me for something she shouldn't have charged me for so my balance was $98 instead.I spoke with the owner and she was firm on this.After I paid the additional amount to get my cat back. I went home and called the other vets I chose not to use to start based on speaking with them initially and the pricing. None of them offer the 3 year shots that they gave my cat with and if I would have taken my cat to the other vet clinics, the yearly shot would not have cost me more than $75 in total. This place charged me $160.20 for the 3 year shot. If they would have told me honestly from the start it would have only been $80 for the 3 year shot.This is the ultimate bait and switch then they hold your animal hostage.I'm an accountant and a business person so I'm not ignorant on business practices and what it takes to run a company. I also know how important it is to be honest with your customers and bait and switch on costs is not professional at all.

I only called for an inquiry for some prices on a rabies shot and nails trimmed for our 6 month old puppy. I felt like it was a little high. You can get a voucher from other vets around town and the exam and shot is not much more than the pri e they charge to clip the puppies nails.

I literally drive hours out of state just to keep maumelle animal clinic as my pets primary care vet clinic! The veterinarians and staff provide tip top service for my fur babies! They provide outstanding care, and a very clean boarding facility with a awesome groomer! Its literally a 1 stop shop! Love it and the staff! And most importantly my pets feel loved and safe in their care!

Everyone at the clinic was so helpful and happy! It is very obvious that the employees love their jobs and want to give excellent customer service. Molly, our 13 year-old cat, was not a happy patient, but they handled her well. I'll be back with my pug, soon!

We could not have been more impressed with the service here. Out dog had his jowl torn by another dog during a fight. There was lots of blood and skin hanging from the wound. We took him to the clinic, they processed his papers immediately, and took us to a room to be seen. The vet was very kind and knowledgeable, gave us our options, and walked us through everything we needed to know. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The staff was wonderful, the office was clean, and the prices were reasonable.

First things first, they are EXTREMELY RUDE when they make a mistake. I scheduled an appointment with the groomer weeks ago, but since she over booked herself, she wouldn’t take my dogs. Then proceeded to tell me that it was MY FAULT that I should have brought them in sooner, when I had an appointment. I would never and WILL never take my dogs here to be groomed EVER again.And to add to it, the first time they groomed my dogs, they completely ignored all my requests and just cut them however they wanted. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but this isn’t acceptable.
