Passing through from Wyoming where the Sonic is terrible so I've been looking forward to the first Southern location I pass to get my corn dog fix..... pulled up at noon on a Wednesday, ordered, and had my corn dogs in under 5 minutes. I think I ate them both in under a minute. As far as the location, it's a pretty standard looking Sonic, but it's up on the hill and overlooking the river. Fast food featuring fantastic features.

I like sonic but I stopped at the one in Bono to get an ice cream cone and the lady told me they no longer have cones for ice cream. This was a shock. Maybe they will bring them back.

This sonic is great with the food and drinks! Unfortunately they decided to clean the ground with a very loud machine and neither sides could hear the order being said or repeated…. :(

I got here at 4:58pm placed my order watched the guy next to me's girlfriend come out and visit and it's 5:28 and I'm still here. I finally got my food at 5:31. It was cold and then I had to drive home. I've always liked this sonic, but if you're at work be professional I would think. Don't let people's food set in there and get cold. That's not right. We paid for that.

My daughters chicken strips were very old, and dry. Couldn’t even break them into pieces for her so it went in the trash. That’s my only complaint honestly, every other experience has always been great! I love the workers at this location - just the quality of food could be a lot better & quicker service but I understand having enough carhops is hard to come by also! Don’t let my one mishap deter you from going, this is still a good spot to grab food in our area!!

We were on our way back home and decided to get a soda and the kids a slushie. I love to order in the app, it's usually ready when you get there. Unfortunately, we waited over ten minutes for our items as we had to watch One young man running back and forth. He took payments from the drive-thru side, he ran food to the parking side, delivered food to the drive-thru side... etc, etc. He looked tired yet when he brought us our items, he had a smile on his face and was very courteous. Our order was correct and delicious as it is 95% of the time at any Sonic. Somebody in Mammoth Springs, MO needs to give this kid a little extra money, a week paid off and someone to help him at this location.

My gosh, I have been going to sonic for as long as I can remember and it never fails that maybe 6 or 7 outta 10 times I go they get my order correct. I absolutely love to order a 44 cherry limeade easy limes easy ice and extra cherry flavor. Well, I use to drink plain dp or still drink root bear, but each place there ice makes ur drink taste different. I recently moved to Thayer and was so impressed at how fast my 3 drinks I ordered came out. Well, idk if u guys know this or not but everytime u open the app u never know if u can order through it or not. Well, I was told that the local sonic didn't have nothing to do with that. It was whoever but certainly not the local sonic. Okay. So the last few days no app no app. Then finally I called cause I'm disabled and recieve very small check and I told them I didn't know if something was wrong cause mind u it had been going on for days and that was unusual but there was other sonics open. So I called and got told they had the app turned off. After talking and asking if they would honor the half price and them telling me no. They are fixing to close do to weather. I asked if I could quickly come by cause I was maybe 2 minutes away she hung up on me. I love this place. I know I get awful drink but when I get a good 1 it's great but to be treated like this when I come in almost daily is uncalled for. And then u leave reviews and never do u get an apology or anything. Places that care will communicate with you.

Rang up our order wrong (medium chicken instead of large).Trip 1- Brought out the drinks-when asked which is the cherry lemonade, answered, "good question."Half the order was missing (2 burgers all fries and tots).Trip 2-Got the burgers...still no fries and tots. Also no ranch for the onion rings like we requested.Trip 3-new carhop. Brought fries and tots. Half-hearted apology and 2 coupons for a free corndog. No ranch.I went in for ranch and was handed 2 packets. One looked like it had been walked on for an afternoon.Food was typical Sonic fare. Limeade syrup was weak so cherry limeade tasted like soda water with barely a hint of cherry.Definitely a first and last visit.

I use the sonic app at every location I go to. Not only do I get more rewards but we get better deals with it. This location had an issue with their app processing my order and wouldn’t honor the app pricing. We were told to drive to get service and come back … this is not how other Sonic’s handle this. Honor the app, I’m a loyal Sonic lover but this was handled incorrectly.

This is the worst Sonic I've ever been to. I think there's only one person working. I'm the only customer here and I've waited almost 30 minutes for popcorn chicken... what's funny is last time I was in the area I went here and had the exact same experience

Always get something wrong with my order. Received response from owner with standard sorry. Sure you are, talk is cheap! Your only original response was to a good review. Just ignore the bad reviews and don't bother making your business better. Are you the person who said you would refund my money when your ice cream machine was out and didn't? Always amazed at how quick the car hops are with the food and always with a smile. No matter what Sonic there is an unspoken bond of their workers striving to be the best. I've never had a complaint about any Sonic I've been to. Good job and I definitely recommend!

Service was rather fast for such a big order (6 meals). Staff was professional & courtesy, unfortunately they got 2 burgers wrong. Even tho I asked them to confirm how it was made (which was confirmed correct just made not that way).

Absolutely ridiculous placed a mobile order and waited over 10 minutes while other people were getting their food that ordered after me. For a while I was the only one here and all they were doing inside was just standing around.

They don't stir the slushes most of the time, the real cream sodas are never stirred up either, I ordered a new strawberry m&m concrete and it's like they didn't even try, the wait is always really long, and it ALWAYS seems like there's a new person working. 3 stars because they're sometimes good, but not comparable to West Plains Sonic, which is 1,000,000x better. The workers are very nice though.

Can you believe this place? Public restroom was out order. Doesn't the health department require it to be open? Floors filthy.Sign at street was out of order. Are you open? Turn on your sign. As an electrician, this is not a difficult fix. Does corporate know that this location is not compliant with its requirements. Serious retraining and attention is needed for one of the few restaurants open at night in this border town.

Updated: (3 stars)Things are trending better here, the staff is friendlier and the orders have been right, even the quailty has improved, the waits are still often long but then again everywere in the nation is understaffed at the moment .Old review:(1 star)Sonic as a whole is good, but this branch constantly disapoints. Wrong orders, long waits for just a drink (even though there not alot of Other customers), and a constant lack of quality in the food cheese tots with almost no cheese, hot wings with little to no sauce... Sadly these things are the norm.
