Highly recommend 10/10. The views are incredible and you can relax by the river all while having the conveniences of being in town. You can get most basic camping items in the on-site store as well as bait. The cabins are comfortable and spacious. My family always stays here when coming in from out of town.Nearby activities: Expressions Tattoos & PiercingsWalkability: Mammoth Spring State park is in walking distance.Noteworthy details: Beautiful views of the Spring river

100% my New Favorite Place to stay on the Spring River. We did some tent camping with electricity in order to run a fan to keep the heat away. The second night a storm came up out of nowhere and totally trashed our tent as we watched from our truck. During our wait in truck I get a call from Susan the owner of place to ask if we where ok? Told her we where probably going to book a room and clean up next day. She refused that ideal and literally put us up in her own private camper! What an Amazing sole!!!! So if you need a cool place to stay and unwind this is a GEM !!!!

Don’t pay in advance but 1 night before you see this location. We prepaid for 3 based on info about the river conditions after a lot of storms. I called again 3 days ahead and was assured the river was not flooded and it was divided by muddy and clear water due to the incoming spring. We were going there to fly fish for trout. The conditions were a completely muddy river. We called the rep and she repeated their 72 hr cancellation policy but would check on refunding part of our money. That was the last we heard from them. This is a very basic campground with little to no grass and no separation from campsites. I would describe as a rustic fishing camp.

We stopped here on our way home from Florida and they were wonderful. We had to call for assistance at least 3 times could have been more to ask questions. It was after 9 pm and she answered and helped each time. Thank you for that. I should have gotten her name so I could give her credit for her tolerance. They have cabins idk what they look like cuz we were in an RV. It looked really nice there tho.

This park was truly wonderful. The owner is exceptional and really looks after the guests to make them comfortable. It’s a very small campground, on Spring River, quiet but close to town and necessities. It is open year-round and is pet friendly. You can see the Damn at Mammoth Spring‘s from the campground. we hope to visit again.

We've been camping here for several years now. The fishing, location, clean bath house with hot showers, and beautiful scenery is why we return several times during the year. It's the perfect get away...affordable, right on the Spring River, and in walking distance to the Mammoth Spring State Park. It's family friendly, and not a party atmosphere. A little piece of heaven here on earth. The new owner has made some incredible updates to the property too.

This was my first time truck camping and Susan in the office was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions over email before I drove up. The location is beautiful, right on the banks of the Spring River, and is about as close as you can get to Mammoth Spring State Park and downtown. The bridge & road have new sidewalks making it easy to walk around. The bath house is a little outdated, but was very clean with good warm water. Very strong water pressure at the campsites & WiFi if you want to stay connected. I had no cell phone service at all once I got to my campsite. I will definitely be staying here again.I do want to point out that if the noise of trucks & trains bothers you, this is not the place for you to stay. Big rigs use their Jake brakes coming down the hill by the camp and it is located next to a very busy railroad. I enjoyed the noise but some may be turned off by it.

We rented a cabin for a night and it was worth every penny. The campground is smaller, and it's right on the river. It's the perfect campground for bringing your kayak/SUP board. You can float right up to the Spring River dam. You can also check out the Warm Fork of the Spring River just to the left of the dam. It's so cool to have a natural occurring cold spring and warm spring meeting together. If need be, the owner does provide rental options for kayaks. The owner was super nice and had thought of everything for the cabins. The cabins do come with a private bathroom and shower, but there is also a shared bathroom area for those that are just wanting to camp. The cabins have tv, microwave, full size fridge, dishes/utensils, coffee maker, and will easily sleep 4 people. We can't wait to come back. If you need a well lit area at night, I recommend cabin 2. If you prefer a dark night setting, then you will want to snag the other cabins. The office does have ammenities for sale, like wood, drinks, snacks, etc. The campground is within walking distance to a restaurant that's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- and it's delicious. You may want to take the 1 minute drive due to the safety of the walk. We brought our toddler and she loved swimming in the cold spring. Everyone will tell you its too cold to swim, but I thought the water was perfect in mid August.

We parked our RV at site 9 right by the beautiful river and had the place to ourselves. Saw the muskrats in the evening and enjoyed cooking out and eating under the stars. Not sure how it would be if every site was occupied.but we met the new owner and she is excited about improving the place! If we stayed longer we definitely would have gone for a paddle. The river is gorgeous!

Great campground right on the Spring River! Susan (the owner) was friendly and kind! Large sign about pets indicated to me there’s been pet problems, but my dog was welcome! There’s a $5 pet fee, but Susan waived the fee for us! And our dog was 60 pounds over the weight limit for the park! Good showers and full electricity!

Great place to stay! Good price, clean park, excellent customer service. We had tornadoes and hail the second time we stayed and Sue came around and let everyone know they had a basement we could go to for a safe place, made sure all the park guests were safe. We will definitely be back, and definitely recommend this place!!

Have fished here for decades. It's family friendly and a great place for fisherman. The shoreline is mowed close or washed river rock, so no 'chiggers' and weeds to battle. Very affordable - only $2 per person/per day to fish. Always catch trout. Not a spot of litter any where. Quiet yet accessible. Has restrooms and trash dumpsters. Problems with Google directions have been fixed so you should drive right to the park.

Quiet open and naturally beautiful. Susan hooked us up with the most perfect totally private rv site next to the spring, she was cheerful and helpful and super informative. We really enjoyed meeting her and staying at her park! We will be back again.

Awesome RV park. Right at the source of the Spring River. If you are floating the river this is the place to start so you might as well camp right here. Walk across the road to tour the waterfall at the source and restaurant on the other corner. Owner of RV part is super friendly and helpful. We will be back here for sure..

Best place on the river to fish. The construction on the bridge over the Spring River is finished. Nice and quiet Park very family-oriented. The owner does not tolerate any shenanigans. GPS does not always lead you to this location. It is located on the southwest corner of the bridge. Mammoth Spring Campground is no longer in business. Mammoth Spring RV Park is right next to it.

Always nice and clean, we love the trail around the lake and the picnic areas. The water fall is always nice. It's a plus to catch some trout in the spring river below the dam.

Tent camping needs improvement or lower prices, $30. To camp in a not very well taken care of spot, lots of little moths to go up your nose, beautiful area.

What a great river location! Water wasn't turned on yet, too early in the season. But the host was great and the view amazing.
