Arrived after 10p plenty of parking in the back, watch out for the potholes. Got the chicken fried steak breakfast. Not sure if I was just tired but I didn't eat much of it, the grits needed some milk and/or seasoning... The eggs were cooked perfectly!!! The chicken fried steak was bland, definitely needs more than salt and pepper but was crispy not going to even comment on the gravy.

Decent fuel stop. Lowest price of fuel for many miles using my primary fuel card. Diesel pumps were old and poorly maintained. Woman at the fuel desk was polite and professional. Restaurant was fairly nice. I ordered to go, waitress was very nice, price was fair, and food was delicious. Huge lot, plenty of parking.

I ordered a hamburger steak baked potato and cooked carrots. When they first brought out the food you could just see the carrots were over cooked. Brought back more and they were over cooked as well. My baked potato was so undercooked. When the cook cut it in half he would have known just didn’t care. And the toast that came out with the food was burnt. The cook just didn’t care about the quality of food he send outs and the waitress didn’t either, or hoped that I wouldn’t care.

Huge truck stop and the food was excellent. New York strip home fries and based eggs. The waitress was very polite and a joy to speak with.

Lots and lots of parking. Doesn't matter which area to park it's all $11.00 a night. Free parking with 60 gallons of fuel. Has fuel for cars and trucks. Cat scale. Restaurant has mediocre food. Staff is friendly.

Gas or bathroom break kinda stop. Not much here in store as far as food & accessories. Kinda a dinky place. Bathroom is a real tight squeeze getting in if someone else is in there. Garbages full-yuck.

AS A TRUCKER ...I USE 2 STOP here alot and stay in far back of lot near the rear exit . then back around later and find a place . and go in and grab shower which were free . then grab coffee. or walk over and order breakfast sandwiches most likely 2 of them . one of my very places 2 stay b4 riding down to PLANO TEXAS FOOD BANK 2 MAKE DELIVERY Next day .

A great breakfast stop. I ordered the sausage and cheese omelet with hashbrown potatoes and a side of biscuits and gravy. They were delicious. The bathroom was very clean. And the waitress Tammy (I think) was awesome. I did enjoy the breakfast there.

We had a very standard breakfast. The price seemed a little high, but the coffee was excellent. The restaurant is a little tired and dated, but the servers were friendly and attentive. The restrooms need a little attention.

It's okay. Small selection, extremely expensive for basic convenience store items, and most things don't have prices listed. There's some interesting canned goodies like quail eggs and kool aid pickles. Large parking area. Still free as of a couple weeks ago.

Considering I love to cook, I find it extremely difficult to eat something somewhere without dissecting it. So let’s talk about it .Starting with the tomatoes.. fresh tasting.. nothing but salt and pepper is needed for them to be good. 8 out of 10Cornbread .. not enough tea in my glass to choke down that disaster .. somewhere someone’s grandma is offended . 0 out of 10Peas… love them or hate them… I love them , salt and pepper with butter not much you can do with them. The sauce they’re in is thick and I’m picking up a sour hint…. I’ll pass 0 out of 10Mashed potatoes … instant (unacceptably fail) 0 out of 10Hamburger steak … not a premade frozen patty from what I pick up… a little flavor would help this out. 5 out of 10Gravy and onions .. onions are real… gravy not so much.. if it’s not packaged , jarred or canned I’ll be surprised . 2 out of 10

Not impressed. Hardly any food for the money you spend. This cost $14.00 and I had to pay .50 for the gravy on the potatoes. What a joke!!

Service was bad...ordered water for myself and 2 sons and she brought only asked more water still nothing...brought us the food all of it was cold so they took all of it and put it in the microwave tand microwaved it too long so it was like old rubber...(chicken fried steak) they only allow one side so potatoes or a veggie...and it was outrageously priced...worse reaterain5 I have ever been too...I do like that they always have a place for me to park my truck but if you park here o would not recommend eating authentic resteraunt....

We stopped here on our way home, my granddaughter had to use the bathroom while I was filing up my gas tank. They would not let her use the bathroom saying it was employees only. I filled up my gas tank and spent my money yet they would let my 11 year old granddaughter use the restroom.

Racism looms over this place. White people only shower. The old lady behind the counter is a spineless hag. The restaurant is also terrible, way overpriced and bland. This place is in shambles and should be demolished. A pathetic, filthy and sad place

Food was good. 1 meat and 3 vegetables.The meat was a decent portion, but the sides were served in really small portions. Choice of cornbread or roll.The waitress was great, I have to give her 5 stars for enthusiasm.The purple hull peas need to have some bits of andouille sausage added in. Maybe some bits of jalapeño added too... to add some flavor.The carrots were honey flavored and on point. The green beans with potatoes needed some salt and pepper, they tasted watered down.Good clean country food just needing a little extra twist for added flavor on some of their recipes.

J and J truck stop if your going to charge for parking you should at least post it to where drivers know its a paid parking lot. Dinner food was not cooked or even prepared right, staff was non attentive. Store what a joke not a lot to choose from and somethings were over priced. my suggestion is to go to the rest are west of there vending machines food better and cleaner bathrooms.

I pulled in... parked, soon to be out of hours... customer was right up the road from here !!! I was approached by a security/parking attendant and was nicely informed by Jim that if I was going to park here over 3 hours without purchasing 60 gal of fuel or more it would cost me $11 dollars !!! I was happy to pay it ... it was a nice experience actually and I had a 10% off and $200 off coupon for the restaurant which I will go enjoy in the morning !!! How cool is that !!! I have never stopped here before but I will be back !!! I have heard that the restaurant is good from times past ... I can’t wait to check it out !!!

First time eating here. Happy to see places like this still exist in 2022. The young staff was friendly and attentive. Prices and quality were great. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: dining area wasn't 100% spotless and the ladies restroom had an issue. I worked restaurants for 7 1/2 yrs. Hope this helps you understand my 4 star rating.

Very nice friendly people work here, clean bathroom/showers. Basic convenience store with snacks and all. Big cafe/dinner. Nice big parking lot to find parking late. Also great if you have a dog with you in your truck theres a nice gravel road you can walk your dog on.

Absolutely best place to get a home cooked meal and some homemade jelly even have jalapeno jelly 😋Go back in time with a treasure from the old days from a music( I only seen one & we bought it ) box to a wood doll it's just so cool to see all these things that remind me of the past days .Service was excellent restaurant was very clean I couldn't see no dust no where from the shelves to the items they had on them .We even got some Pure Honey & Apple Butter & little trinkets .I loved stopping in after we been driving 8 hours on the truck get to sit down to a hot meal and service was very friendly Thanks Y'all for having this place out there for us.The Stone FamilyDonald BrendaPoopsie Gizmo& Big Baby Healer ( chix strips were to die for !!! Honestly, I took a shower that was pretty cheap. Everything was clean, but the shower curtain smell like piss no big deal because the ladies with the blonde hair were super nice and welcoming. They made me feel like I was visiting family and not a truckstop however, the next morning the two ladies that were working, were very unwelcoming . The one younger lady with the long poopy brown hair was exceptionally rude and the lady working with her didn’t even acknowledge me when I said, ma’am, repeatedly.

Well the parking could be better.. need to lay down lines could get more trucks in. The food is very good. Down to earth, greens were great. Corn. Not so much, ribeye bone in was a good deal, tender and properly cooked (med-rare). Waitress was phenomenal for such a youngun. Fast , efficient, funny, made me hate being old. 😆

Tamara, the fuel counter associate, who took my initial call and Christy, the Manager, who handled our situation the next morning, were absolutely amazing in a time of recent crisis. We had some significant fraud happen to our fuel account while we were there and instead of leaving us hung out to dry, Christy worked feverishly to pull data, watch video, and recount all activities to help resolve what happened to us. I want to be clear, there was NO FRAUD done by JJ's Truck stop as an entity or by their associates that are employed there, but Christy took ownership of the situation anyway and used her time to track down and reach out to all parties involved, she called our fuel account company & worked with then directly, and within hours of my initial conversation with her that morning, she recovered all of our hundreds of dollars in lost money back! Absolutely unbelievable Management and Customer Experience skills. I am forever grateful to her for going above and beyond and grateful that JJ's Truck Stop is such a reputable business that takes exceptional care of their over the road customers.

Got an order to go and am sorry I did. Wasted $45 on shrimp and a chicken fried steak. Had to go back for condiments to find out they were out of cocktail sauce and no one there is authorized to refund the meal. The fries tasted like they were fried in old grease. The only thing going for this meal was the rolls. We won't be back.
