Dr. Amy is a great vet & the staff is wonderful.I brought my old dog Bo to her when we moved to the area for his end of life care. She was compassionate and gentle with me through that hard process.Then, two-years-ago I found a dog in dire distress and I brought the dog to this clinic. Although, the dog wasn’t ours, Dr. Amy took care of her just like any other and she worked with me to get her into a rescue. (Happy to report this pup is in the happiest home now!)Just last week my dog Gypsy needed surgery and x-rays. Dr. Amy explained everything to us, gave us recommendations on supplements and how to best care for her as she ages.We are thankful that we found such a wonderful vet clinic, we highly recommend them.

We LOVE Lowell Vet Center!!!!! We have a very complicated doberman and Dr. Amy has been so patient and kind. She continues to help us try to find multiple different solutions for his issues. We had an emergency a couple weeks ago and the staff was SO kind to us and ended up sending us to the ER. They called us the next day and couple days later to check in on our pup. They truly care for our dogs and want the best for them. If they don't know how to help, they will research and figure out the best way to help our pup! We love Hallie the vet tech too! She knows us by name and truly cares about our dogs! They are amazing!! 12/10 recommend this vet clinic! You get the small town family clinic feel here!! So glad we found this clinic!

Everyone was friendly and kind, my dog came back in good spirits. My only disappointment was not being told ahead of time that the humane society voucher for neutering was no longer valid at their clinic. It ended up being a bit pricey, a good bit more than I expected to pay.

My dog was recently sick and Dr. Kuhl was able to determine he was anemic just by looking at his mouth. She proceeded to check labs and sure enough, he was anemic. She quickly told us what she thought the problem was before even actually doing more tests. Turns out, after we had imaging done to confirm, it was exactly what she thought. We were able to get our dog the care he needed and he is still here with us! I am impressed by her excellent assessment skills and her care with our beloved dog. I recommend this vet for quality and compassionate care.

They treated my cat, who is 12, with much care and dignity. He had an eye infection and an upper respiratory infection. After 1 week, he is doing soooo much better, and his eye infection is almost cleared up! The respiratory infection will be cleared up soon, too. He is definitely eating a whole lot more than he was! After being very disappointed by other Vet clinics we have found great comfort in this place. The vet is super awesome . She's not a money graber like the others . She takes time to go over things and options and helps keep cost down by allowing you to explore your options. You can tell she really cares about the animals well being , not money motivated. She has fair prices and has discussed cheaper options . Cheaper options may not always be availae but if they are she will definitely let you know.

The team did an awesome job with neutering my 6 month poodle, providing him with pain management in a responsible manner.They kept him for 24 hours, which I welcomed since they're more capable of providing him assistance if necessary, and it kept him in a controlled environment.Only slight annoyance is the inconsistency of being able to get them on the phone. Other than that, I'm 100% satisfied.

This is not currently my regular veterinary clinic...but it soon will be. Twice in the past two years, this clinic has helped me with my two cats in emergency situations. Even though I was not a current client, they worked me into their schedule when my regular vet would not. Once when I was preparing to leave town for a week and my older male cat had blood in his urine, they got him set up on antibiotics and his infection cleared up in no time. And recently over the holidays, I had a very sick kitty who was not eating. My regular vet wanted us to wait 3 days to bring him in. When his conditioned worsened on day 2, my regular vet still refused to see him until the next day. I called Lowell Veterinary Clinic and even though they had no open appointments, they suggested I drop him off to be evaluated. Within 2 hours I received a call asking if I wanted to proceed with blood work. Results were in only an hour later providing the necessary information needed to make the choice to euthanize. I was able to bring my 3 kids into a private room for over an hour to say goodbye to their beloved pet. The doctor and staff were very patient with us. I truly appreciate their compassion and willingness to help even when we were not current clients. I plan to bring my remaining pets to them soon to set up a more permanent relationship. RUDE!Rude front desk staff! The first appointment we had with them I went in with my dogs and the tech at the front desk ignored me and when she finally did turn around and acknowledge me she acted completely put out by my presence.Next appointment was an urgent visit with a sick puppy and they graciously worked him in. Still not the sweetest, but whatever, Help my dog. The vet called me with an update within an hour and was easy to talk to (she gets the stars). She told me to bring the puppy back the next day for another treatment and the techs could take care of it. When I arrived the next day I was told there wasn't anyone available and I would have to come back at 3. I explained that I was on my lunch break and couldn't come back at that time and she rudely told me there was nothing they could do until 3. I understand that if there isn't anyone available to do it then it can't be done, but again...Rude.

Answered the first time I called and were very helpful assisting me with the process of setting up an appointment for my cat to be spayed. Appointment was only scheduled 5 days out so not a long wait! Cat healed well without issue.

Please avoid at all cost. Have brought my animals heee for the past 5 yeasrs including over 6 litters of 10 puppies each. I have had my dogs spayed and nutered here. All using the vocher program which is 85 dollars for dogs up to 40 lbs and 10 more for dogs over 40 lbs which is what i paid before on my female dog when she was finished birthing. We had two rescues that we brought in using the voucher program and both to receive rabbies vac. Expecting bill of around 260. When i received cc statement was billed 523.00 was charged 40 dollars for each for exam fee which is not listed in the voucher program was not charged this on my other dogs. I was tgen charged another 75 dollars each dog for them being over a year old. Which was not charged on my other dogs that were over a year. Then I was also charged another 38 dollars because they were both in heat. None of these chargers were ever told to me before the peoceedure or after . This is the second issue I have had here i had an aussie that they were treating that ii thought was having reaction to medication perscribed and he was lathargic falling over brought him in had them do blood woek was told his levels were all normal but red blood cell up which they were expecting asked about the meds causing it said no way asked if i could take him off and see if there is improvement. My dog looked like it was dieing and never was advised that he could die. Was told i could take him home and take him off meds to see if it makes difference and he died that night. Please avoid this place like the plague. If they treat a customer that has brought over 40 dogs in for treatment vaccine puppie issues ect imagine how they will treat you. There are other posts here of people that have broughr their pets here for years with same issue. Follow up. They have replied here as you see below that they are deeply concerned yet I have not been contacted in any form.

I Hate companies ,..that are like this , if your homeless on the streets and have no way to pay your vet they will keep it or euthanize that pet .beware of clinics . They killed a good dog couple days ago Annie 😔

This vet office cares, period. I wouldn’t have my baby Andor without them - he was a kitten when the original owner asked to have him euthanized, and the office and vet rescued him. He went to Whiskers Rescue AR and then to me, and he’ll always be my best friend as long as I have him.They did an AMAZING job with his shots (Andor is a spicy baby) and made him feel safe and supported enough that he didn’t need to strike out to defend himself. They treated him for some stomach issues and gave some wonderful advice, and sent us on our way. Andor is all better and I’ll keep coming back to this vet as long as we live in the area.
