It is kept pretty clean, as far as animal shelters go. The people in the facility were friendly, helpful, and informative. We were shown all the dogs, but we're still thinking about it.

When I dropped off my cat for adoption the staff at Lowell Animal Shelter were the best. I told them that (BUGS) my cat was very precious to me and I really didn't want to get rid of him, and they said they were going to professionally screen every potential client to adopt my precious little boy. I felt very comfortable with releasing my angel to their care

The hours of operation to view the animals is horrible!!! Internet states facility is open on Sunday.. yet when I go there to view animals for adoption… the manager stated that animals are only viewed m-f 12-3! Really? How are people who work m-f suppose to find their next fur baby? And the animals are not updated regularly on petfinder! This is a shame for all looking for a new family member and for the pets who can not meet their new family. How are you helping the animals???

We adopted our black mouth cur mix from the shelter almost 7 years ago! We hit the jackpot with our furry girl! :) We went to several area shelters in order to find a sibling for our picky other furry girl and this was our last stop. Our girls are now going on 8 and10. They are the best of friends! Thank you!!!

I LOVED HELPING CLEAN THE CAGES!! I Also really love the pets that are there!! I miss them very much!!! Also I did volunteer with my friends and family.

Got a dog from them the other day. They're currently not open to walk through, you need to schedule a visit with a dog. The lady who was working was very nice and the dog we got is in great health.

Adopted a beautiful orange tabby cat. The shelter was incredibly clean and all the animals are well taken care of. These people clearly care about all the creatures!
