There are usually around 5 people working in the pharmacy...but only one person assisting with checkout. I received a text that prescription was available. Show up and the rude clerk said it wasn't ready and wouldn't confirm if it would be filled that day. She then asked me for the medicine's name - I didn't know as it was a new script and filled electronically - she then told me to "Google it." Google what? The name of the medicine whose name I was never given? Transferred everything out of there that day.

Been going here for the last 3 years. The staff here is always nice and professional. They are usually timely on RX refills.As of this post, Lane 2 is not operating but there isn’t a sign. A sign would be helpful not only as a courtesy to customers, but to alleviate staff from having to respond to confused folks, multiple times on a daily basis.

I have had bad experiences in this retail space at the checkout counter but the pharmacy staff at this location is excellent. They go out of their way to be friendly, helpful, speedy and give you all the details you need on medications you are picking up. This great service experience is consistent across in person and phone interactions.

It seems like the pharmacy reduces their official hours of operation at least every month or two, and usually with little or no notice. At this rate, they will have negative hours of operation within the next two years.What's even worse is that, even during their official operating hours, the pharmacy is closed for no apparent reason. A couple months ago, they were closed for four or five whole days in a row. That's not an exaggeration! When they had finally opened back up, they had "temporarily" reduced their hours "to get caught up" on the backlog of prescriptions, which I discovered because I arrived 11 minutes after the new closing time. Unsurprisingly, they never changed back from the restricted hours. In fact, they've cut down their hours at least twice since then.Edit, after reading other reviews:Yeah, this store is kind of bad, but don't be so quick to blame the low-level hourly employees. They don't get paid enough to give you 100%. And you're definitely not entitled to their 100% because you "keep them employed." You don't employ them; Walgreens does. It's clear that Walgreens needs to offer higher wages. That would alleviate the obvious staffing shortages that seem to curse every Walgreens store and would give them room to get rid of truly bad employees.Update (6/13/2022)They lost two of my prescriptions. I don't know how that happens, considering that my doctor sent them electronically. I had to have my doctor send the prescriptions again. They have had the new prescription since at least last Tuesday (6/7), possibly Monday (6/6). As of now, Monday (6/13) at 4:07 PM, the website says the prescription is still "in progress".Last Friday (6/10), I went into the store to check on it. They told me the pharmacy was drive-thru only, so I got into the drive-thru line at 5:30 PM. By the time the person in front of me arrived at the drive-thru window, it was 7:05 — 5 minutes after the pharmacy officially closes. They closed the window, leaving her, me, and all of the people behind me in line without our prescriptions. That's over an hour and a half in line with nothing to show for it.The pharmacy is closed on Saturday and Sunday. At the moment, I am in the drive-thru line (because the pharmacy is again drive-thru only) on Monday (6/13) at 4:15 PM. I have been in line since 3:45 and have moved forward one space.This pharmacy — the Walgreens pharmacy at 1601 Main St — has to be the worst pharmacy in the country.

Got tetanus booster, very fast, pharmacist was amazing! Store was very clean, friendly staff , pharmacy was busy but again I was in and out. Wonderful experience!

Lately drive thru pharmacy has been very inconvenient. They will fill/refill @ the window right then but will ask you to come back for one that's been dropped off from earlier when they've asked you to come back. Bad business

I had to get an emergency refill on a prescription we forgot while vacationing. The pharmacy staff were very helpful, working with me to get a smaller quantity/lower cost when insurance wouldn't cover a refill. One of my better experiences at a Walgreens.

This store typifies the average retail environment in our world. Everyone is there for a paycheck/handout for a half baked job. No such thing as customer service here.Store was convenient for me, but will forgo easy in and out for a small locally owned pharmacy that actually gives two brown nuggets about the people whose business keeps them employed

Was on hold for several hours, only to be hung up on by someone. Patients are unable to get their medicine because they are being *filled* at this location, but we cannot get ahold of anyone to back medications out or transfer medications. Patients are being left unable to get their medications, and this is in acceptable!

This Walgreens pharmacy is absolutely horrible. My neurologist called in a prescription on Monday, it's Friday. I don't have my prescription and today my neurologist had to call the office herself, in order to get the prescription filled, even though she was the one who requested it at the beginning of the week. Ater she told me she was told the order would be ready for pickup, I went to this pharmacy to pick it up and they were out of stock! My prescription was requested on Monday buy my neurologist! I what more does this pharmacist need??I even called them to see what the situation was and (and to see if I could get other strengths of my prescription).Tthe fellow who answered the phone mocked me, repeating what I said to his co-workers, who laughed at me!! After I get this prescription I will never step foot and use their pharmacy ever again! Such horrible customer service and inaccurate information!

The pharmacy is a joke came @ 10:18 am and they said it wouldn’t be ready until 12pm I asked if I could come back after work I get off @ 4:00pm they said YES ! So I’ve been in line in drive through since 4:18 it’s now 5:33 FINALLY get to the window and 3 different people come up at different times and say “who are u picking up for” after I’ve already said it 3 different times and gave 3 different people the insurance number .. she just came back to the window and said “it’s not ready yet they’re finishing it up” ridiculousHORRIBLE PHARMACY !

My neighborhood store...the staff working the front has been there consistently and they know me by name which I love. Great service. Open until 10P. Pharmacy has always been efficient at the drive thru

I have used this Walgreens for a long time and never had an issue. This past week I used a credit that I haven't used in a long time to purchase something and my mom used her debut card a couple days earlier. The following Friday we both received emails to confirm purchases made on our cards, which were not purchases we made. Come to find out someone had hacked our card information and the bank told us it had to be somewhere we both used our cards recently and that the card machine possibly had a scanner in it. I called this Walgreens to speak with the manager just to give her a heads up and maybe check their card machines. She refused to believe anything like that could be possible and that it would take someone a long time to rig the machine. I told her people do it to gas pumps all the time in a matter of seconds and it would probably be a good idea to just check the machines so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Again, she refused to believe it was possible. Long story short, I WILL NOT be visiting this Walgreens ANYMORE.

I like this store. Nice wide aisles and looks very clean. Don't love that I am always asked to take my backpack off and leave it at the counter but hey ho. A good place to grab some drugs for your headache or some booze to give you a headache ;)

I set an appointment for a COVID-19 test and received confirmation. I drove my sick behind all the way to Main Street, because this was the closest location with the covid test, only to find out they were out. No one called or emailed me to let me know. I should've just gone to urgent care.

If it were possible to give a negative stars I would. This place consistently gets scripts wrong. Every time I have tried to get anything filled it's not ready or they say a doctor needs to approve it when that was not the case. Awful customer service. The pharmacy staff is beyond stupid and argumentive.

Always long checkout lines, rarely enough cashiers. Also employees confiscate customer's backpacks before entering store. This only happens at the Main St store. Hmmm....
