Great hot food. The lunch is a meat, two veggies and tea or lemonade. They have the biggest pork chops I have seen in a while for sale. You can add more meat or veggies for an additional cost. You are always welcome to get the cobbler. Currently these meals are only fixed to go. Do not be bothered by the long lines at lunch. Several employees are serving and the line goes quick. Just make sure you look and see what you want so we do not have to stand behind you waiting for you to figure out what you want! Prices are not that bad. The wait line is between the cakes and cookies. I tried the in-house cooked strawberry cake and it was as good and moist as it looked.

The store is always clean never have I encountered anyone with an attitude every employee that I have come in contact with always speak and the ladies at the deli I just luv them they always have a smile and always willing to help keep up the great work and great service pat yourself in the back everyone deserves it and that is y I keep coming back again and again

It's a great discount grocery. Lots of items on the cheap, 5 for $20 packaged meats and frozen foods are awesome. However, I've been harassed by their "security" twice now. They follow me around like I'm Al Capone or something... Also their checkout system is pretty confusing and unintuitive, and make sure you use the plastic pen at the POS kiosk, otherwise you'll just be jabbing the display to no end.

Shopping is pleasant but items are expensive compared to other grocery stores. Staff are friendly 50% of the time. Great meats... Butcher on-site!

I like value food because they have a great deli they sell lunch meats that I like pressed ham or spiced luncheon loaf Hormel Brands you can get hog head souse there lunches aren't too bad either come by and enjoy

The meat packages for 5 at $19.99 are great BUT everything else is higher than Walmart that I have shopped for, from fruit to soup.

I went inside just to get a snack or two for lunch. I had no idea the store was so roomy and the prices seemed to be pretty good. The location is an awful long way away from where I live but I do go through here quite a bit through the month. I’ll probably come through and shop every once in a while.

I go here because it's close to my home...selection is very limited. If you need kcup coffee, egg roll wrappers, ricotta, dog treats or healthy types of things, they dont carry it. They occasionally have unbelievable prices but beware, when you check out, you are charged the full price, it's happened to me 3 times, and who has time to go back for a $2-3 refund, not me..but it leaves me very disgruntled with my neighborhood grocery store. Their daily egg prices are higher than anywhere else. Also watch when checking out, I bought about a pound of squash and zucchini, but was charged for cucumbers, which are about 89 cents each instead of the per pound price...which would have been over $2 cheaper, not a lot to some...but it all adds up on a budget. On a positive side, I do occasionally find great prices on meat and sometimes they are cheaper than anywhere else.

The cold cuts, dairy products seem very warm to touch I think something may be wrong with your freezers, that is really a safety hazard for this area.
