Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me and finally gave up and just walked out. Tanks are dirty too. Tanks looked like they haven’t been cleaned in over a year. Selection of fish is small, I would shop petsmart before I would hear.

This is the best Central Arkansas fish store I have been to. I have even had my tank plumbed by "The Fish Tank." Great service, knowledgeable, they will special order anything. Remember, good personal service requires a wait, so make sure to be patient.

Great store! Got several items today and I'm pleased with them all. Prices are decent...we all wish prices were lower lol, but staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. I recommend you stop here for salt and freshwater needs. They have a little bit of everything. I will definitely be back.

Best fish peoples in LR. These guys are friendly, very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I don't get fish from anywhere else, as they are always checking on their stock and making sure every fish you take home is healthy. If you go in, ask for Casey or James, they know a lot about fish and will provide you with the best advice to stock your particular tank size, and best care.

Shop has lots of tanks. Clean tanks. Large display tanks are nice. Comparable sizes of coral are a bit pricey compared to what I have seen in other shops. Of course prices vary across the country/USA. Nice customer service.

If I could give it 0 stars I would have! I’ve never seen a business this bad that hasn’t gone out of business.I went in there three times and each time was ignored. When I finally got someone’s attention I was treated like I couldn’t afford to be there.Just so they know I contracted with a company out of Memphis to build my tank.I actually walked in yesterday afternoon, stood in the store for 20 minutes by myself and when some girl finally came out of the back instead of asking if she could help me, she said excuse me and started pouring water into tanks.This place is pitifully managed. I took a lift there on my second visit because my car was being serviced.When I walked in no one was there. I could have taken anything I wanted. A guy finally appeared from the back who introduced himself as the owner, but informed me they were closed until 11:00. If I ran my business that way I would have no money to spend.I’ve read some of the other reviews on here and I’m confident they are from employees or paid to post them.Poor selection of fish, rude employees and exorbitant prices for the pitiful choices they do have. I will personally never darken their door again! I would advise you to also shop elsewhere!

I'd like to say this is my favorite place to visit! I just read a new review here and i just can't believe that is completely true. Casey and the other guys have always been helpful to me and if i didn't see what i was looking for they are kind enough to order it for me. Its not the type of the place that they hound you until you buy something. If they are busy just say hey can you help me bc the brst part of their store is you get time to look around this clear store and see all the awesome fish like dog face the puffer fish❤️

Very good pricing, employees know their stuff, fish are well cared for. I have noticed that they don't make up names for fish nor use weird lighting in a darkened room to make the fish and plant colors look "better". Plainly stated, the business, the employees, and the owner all seem to be straightforward and honest. It's rather refreshing. Honesty in this day and age.

Nice fish store with friendly and helpful staff. Tanks and overall cleanliness are pretty good for a place of this size. Fish seem healthy and well cared for. Lot of people expect live pet stores to be perfect but that's simply not possible. There will be smells, there will be accidents and there will be some living situations that aren't perfect, and tanks that are empty.

We have purchased from them multiple times over the years, have previously asked them to place something on hold and every time, they say they “don’t do holds.” Attempted to make a purchase today just to be told it was on hold for someone else. This is NOT how you do business, especially with repeat customers.

This place is awesome and always has been awwesome. I run a local aquarium club, of 900 members, (as of Xmas season 2022), and this is the LFS I recommend, in this part of the world. So much better than the big chain stores. Great folks.

This lady KNOWS fish. She's the fish whisperer. She sprechen sie fischen. If you have a live tank, she knows how to make it live er. If you're trying to put plants in a fish tank, with less maintenance and more comfort for your buddies, this is the place. Right next to Tokyo house, but they're probably not related to the fish business. Salt and fresh water.
