If you're looking to travel internationally with your pet, look no further than Dr. Allison Koonce. I was preparing to take my dog to Spain and needed a USDA certified vet who was familiar with the process of sending pets abroad. She took care of almost all of the paperwork and gave me a lot of peace of mind. When I had some paperwork issues in Spain (through no fault of hers), she went above and beyond to help me resolve it. The vet tech who helped with my dog was also incredibly kind and reassuring to my nervous pup. I will 1000% be recommending Pleasant Valley to all my central AR friends.

Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic is the best! I’ve had appointments with each veterinarian at least once, and they are all so wonderful and thorough. All of the techs are amazing too, and always so kind and patient with both my dog and me (and he acts like a fool in there). The front office staff is incredible; it’s a busy clinic, but they are always so patient and kind, even when they are slammed. Whomever handles operations is a genius; my dog and I never spend a long time waiting to be called back, or see the Vet, and they do checkout in your exam room at the end of the visit—it is SO efficient and convenient! I highly recommend them!

Wonderful initial experience 😊 We found ourselves in need of a new vet. They got us in within 2 days for a regular annual exam and shots. The entire experience could not have been more pleasant and less stressful. They even gave our 90lb dog with questionable manners a bath, ear wash and nail clip later the same week. Without a doubt they are our new vet!

The office was super clean and organized. The front office staff was on point! I needed a quick check on my dog’s eye, they got me in the next day…even on a Friday! The vet tech was sweet with my Lucy and Doc made sure she was healthy! I would absolutely recommend this team!

Had a great experience establishing care for my boy. He was very nervous but all staff were very sweet, understanding, and patient with him. They did an excellent job of respecting his boundaries and even identifying why he was responding the way he was. They reassured me that his responses were okay and it wasn't because I had done anything wrong, that they were pretty normal in an unfamiliar environment. I really appreciated everything they did, both for me and for my pup, and I'm excited to have a new vet for his future needs!

The staff at pleasant valley was friendly, thorough and welcoming from making the initial appointment on the phone to actually seeing the vet. They addressed my concerns and discussed options for treatment while taking the time to educate me on why we would do them. They started small and sent me an estimate for further treatment that may be needed. Overall excellent experience!

They immediately listened to our concerns, gave me the answers I had been begging for, we have created a game plan for our big fella. I'm so pleased with the care Dr. Cabe showed to dog and family. Since our move here in November 2022, Chenal Valley has been our go-to for our fur baby. But when our pup hurt his leg, it turned into a real worry. He limped for nearly 24 hours, and I feared the worst – a broken leg. That's when my husband, always the voice of reason, dove into the reviews and suggested trying somewhere new. Enter Pleasant Valley – and what an unexpectedly heartwarming experience it turned out to be.From the moment you step into their nice and clean lobby, greeted by friendly faces at the front desk, it's evident they care. The whole atmosphere puts you at ease. Our little pup was treated with such warmth and attention, you'd think he was their own. The doctor and assistant not only took care of him but took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me. Plus, before any procedures, they gave a clear cost estimate – and it was surprisingly reasonable.I was particularly anxious when our dog needed to be sedated for an X-ray. The reassurance from the staff that he was okay was incredibly comforting. Knowing someone cared as much as I do about our fur baby was the best feeling in the world. In hindsight, it made me realize how subpar the experiences at other vets had been.So, if you're in the area and your pet needs care, I can't recommend Pleasant Valley enough. They've won us over with their warmth, transparency, and genuine care

I am happy that folks as good as Drs. Allison and Brent Koonce took over the Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic when Dr. Hamilton retired. I have brought my wonderful pets to them for care and love over the years, usually a posse of six furry lovies, three dogs and three cats. They always provided exceptional care and were there for me and my animals when age or terminal illness meant we had to say goodbye. Dr. Brent and all staff were always so kind and compassionate when we faced this, with him even coming to our home for this transition on occasion. They are truly our pet care partners for life! And needless to say, we think they are the best!

The doctors and staff provide wonderful service. The doctors, especially. They (I’ve worked with two over the last three years) always explain and ask follow-up questions. They’re extraordinarily busy, but the vets take time with you. I recommend them highly.

I adopted an elderly dog who was visually impaired and took him to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic. He needed to be checked out so that I could give him a loving home with a quality life. We have used PVVC for our 2 dogs and rabbit for the past 5 years, and are so pleased with their service! One of our dogs has major health issues, and they do their very best to get us in when needed.
