Wow!!! Ryan is absolutely awesome. He did a fantastic job grooming, our two golden retrievers, Chip and Cooper. They have never looked so good! Ryan is very professional, efficient, friendly, and funny. What a great asset to Petco. He goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. He took the time after work to set up my Petco account so I would be sure and get a 10% discount.

The employees are nice. Not as good a selection as Petsmart. The small animal monthly subscription plan is $10/month and so far it’s saved me a ton of money on anything I buy my hamster. The hamster cages sold here (critter trail) aren’t healthy for hamsters well being. I highly suggest you tubing hamster enrichment and care if you want to buy a hamster. My longhaired Syrian hamster is so cute and lets me touch him without freaking out. They couldn’t tell me how old he is which I didn’t like. Luckily he’s got a good temperament. I recommend seeing how the hamster reacts to handling and make sure it’s not acting traumatized by being handled. There was a big difference in how my long hair reacted vs the short haired fellow in the cage to his left.

The cashier couldn't put her phone down, didn't make eye contact, rang up two items of the 5 on the counter then stopped and focused on her phone--still no eye contact or help. I finally left with my $150+ worth of items sitting there and went to a different store up the road. Received excellent service.

Definitely not for the store, not 5 stars, but for the groomer Kimberly and the red headed gentleman major 5 stars. . They were awesome, helpful and professionals.The actually lady at the petco checkout was more interested In her phone and friend waiting in the background.

Kimberly was awesome. She was able to fit me in earlier due to an issue on my end and I appreciated that so much. She was easy to talk to and answered all my questions thoroughly. Most importantly she was sweet to my pup and took special care of him. He was not booked to be fully groomed, but she tended to the bottoms of his paws and potty area. He was happy, fluffy, clean, shiny and smelled great when I picked him up. Thanks so much Kimberly!

Staff was so kind and caring with Marvel, a rescue that had lived on the street. He was treated so well and the grooming completed on the second try. I appreciate the staff so much!

The store was well supplied had enough staff. It would have been a 5 star rating if there were signs posted saying there will be a 10 cent charge per plastic bag if you need the store bags.

My dogs appointment was at 12:00 noon for a bath and hair cut, we arrived and checked on time. My dog a bath every four to six weeks. I bath him with deshedding shampoo and conditioner myself, but every time I bring him there, they say he needs a deshedding shampoo, what’s so funny is I use the same brand of shampoo they use. Every time we visit Petco for his bath The price increases The website says one thing, but then when you get there in the store, they check the price up stating they need this and they need that all I was trying to do today just give him a normal bath and a haircut.The issues that I’m having with this is his appointment was at noon, I have went home and did laundry, clean up my house, and mopped all my floors. It was nearly 4pm and she was doing another dog. Gave me the wrong ticket that I paid, then told me. Oh it was the wrong ticket, take it back over there they can refund you your money back. I was told it’s going to be another hour I’m your dog. Which he had a previous Appointment at 4:30pm Which we were late and had to reschedule. Nearly 4 hours for a bath and haircut, that’s One of the reasons I quit taking him to North Little Rock Petco, they stated they used the blow dryer on him and clipped his paws, yeah right!!!! That was a joke. Yeah I know it’s like I’m a new customer and you think they would try and please, I satisfied the customer. But for your work to tell me, I had other dogs to do, so you’re telling me even though I had an appointment, that’s your other clients with more more important than me. Their dog were more important than my dog. I feel like me, and my thought was discriminated against. I didn’t even get my discounts ln The near Thing feature, I will not recommend Petco to any of my family are friends

We come to this location often for various reasons but this is all too common at this location. The guinea pigs hardly ever have hay which is 80-85% of their diet. Most times when we stop by we have to ask the employees to feed them. Their cage is incredibly small so much that they have to climb over their hide to get around it. The water bottles are hung so low the guinea pigs have to drink in awkward positions which is very bad for their hard curved spines. The bottom of the cage is a metal grid and there isn't enough bedding to keep the floor covered. This can cause bubblefoot which is a very painful condition. Then there is the issue with your housing these animals in aquariums with very little air flow. Guinea pigs have incredibly sensitive respiratory systems and they are prone to URIs. I have witnessed numerous sick animals in your stores over the years. This is why! I employ your company to either do their research and provide the bare minimum requirements for these animals or stop selling them altogether! No guinea pig should be kept in anything smaller than a 4'x2' cage with at least 3 open sides for proper air ventilation(not forced wind through tiny holes) and that is just the size for 2 guinea pigs. I have my 7 in 33sqft. None of the cages you sell are appropriate and about half of your products are dangerous.

My puppy and I walked to Petco in west Little Rock in the snow today. The wonderful Petco employee was just opening the store. She welcomed us in and even provided me with a mask because I forgot mine. She was so incredibly friendly and helpful. We really appreciate her getting out in this bad weather to open the store.

My mother went to drop off our two dogs for their grooming appointment but Alex the assigned groomer refused both of our dogs. I have a Pomeranian and Japanese Chin who have been there multiple times before and other petcos with absolutely no problems. They’re usually complimented as being very sweet. My mother overheard Alex call another petco customer and left a voicemail stating that he could not complete the haircut because he did not feel it was safe to continue. Little did we know he was about to use the same excuse with our dogs. He claimed that the Pomeranian was too matted despite us brushing him thoroughly the day before. He made up an excuse that because he could not see the skin of our Pomeranian that he didn’t feel safe. He honestly wasn’t trying very hard to start with and also because Pomeranians are double coated dogs as well. My mother pointed out well what about the Japanese chin she’s a single coat. We always get her shaved down to the lowest level when we go so matting is never a problem either way. Alex made an excuse that because this dog had such severe anxiety that he did not feel safe. I have been a petco premier member for over 2 years and never had issues with my dogs. Yes one of them has anxiety but she literally sits there like a rock during the grooming appointments. I have discontinued all of my memberships and will not be using this grooming service again. He sounds like he’s either scared of dogs or just wants to go home early. All the other groomers there have always been kind and helpful. I’m very disappointed.

This store is in desperate need of a remodel. The people there are really nice but the shells, floors and paint needs a redo. I bet this would help boost their business. There wasn't very many people in here. I think a fresh look would help. It a great deal.

I have been a loyal, faithful customer of Petco for a VERY long time, and always wanted to shop there instead of Petsmart!! Now, after this recent visit I will never step foot in this store or buy from Petco again!!! Why? I was checking out, and put my card in, and then after accepted, I said "do you mind putting that in the bag"...and her words....IT WILL COST YOU A DIME. I said "excuse me?? " she said it would cost me a dime, and I asked her, can you please just put my stuff in the bag....and as I went to reach for the bag, she slid the bag holder under the cabinet very quickly/forcefully, and gave me an evil look, like how dare I ask for a bag!!!! So, the corporate people decided to do this....well, good, now you lost a long-time true-blue customer OVER A DIME!!!!!! do you hear me people... A DIME!!!!!

My mom and I came in to shop for food for our senior pets. We were able to find food for our cats as well as discounted collars for our dogs. The cashier we spoke with was kind, knowledgeable, and courteous. I would recommend this store to any friend.

They have a wide selection of beautiful bettas and also the aquarium section is awesome. They usually get some pretty cool fish. If you ever need anything, ask for Diego. Here's a really hard worker and takes really good care of his areas and he knows his fish

Very easily found what I needed, the only reason that it gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars is due to the really small selection of all different types of items. However the service was really good, the lady that helped me was friendly and knowledgeable, she helped me make a decision that I was having trouble making and the way she laid it out....it helped it make more sense to me and I was able to make a more informed decision due to her opinion and experience.

I wish I could give a lower rating.Half of the animals in there look so unhappy, or malnourished.This Water Dragon looks like it's been starved, from what I've read online they are supposed to have a diet of worms and bugs, not a damn salad with protein powder on it.You can count the chameleon's ribs, I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to be able to do that with a healthy chameleon.My friend has said her birds and rats have died within a week of purchasing them.Don't even get me started on the fish, well over half of them were dead or barely clinging to life.Don't buy stuff from here, you're only giving them more money to continue buying and abusing animals. Go to Target if you need food, it's right across the street and smells a lot better.

Wonderful staff and plenty of pet supplies, pets and many other selections of items you need as well as cleanliness. Pricing is a little more reasonable than other pet stores with discount percentages for being a member for free! Absolutely loved it!
