Besides the store being open all time in the mornings, when it should, I definitely cannot stand the workers, especially the manager every time I go there you have to put your bag in the car because it’s the size that they are not allowed to let you bring it in so they say, but that’s discrimination at the end of the day because why should you suffer because they want to come into your guys store and steal yeah, need to have better workers and better security tanks on things that is needed. I can’t help because people still. It really made me mad every time she tell me that I can’t come in because of my purse and walks right out. I know Dollar General probably don’t care about losing the customer but I do care about spending my money, especially where I’m on it and she always have the nastiest attitude.

This store when it first opened got a poor review from me because it was always closed . That has improved but now everyone working there needs to work on there people skills starting at the managers . Absolutely the rudest cashier’s I’ve ever encountered. I quit going there because they are so bitter and rude. You would think that they could at least pick up a broom and sweep the foyer every once in a while Dollar general management need to get this store trained

Awful Customer Service...Cashier would rather play with her cellphone than check us out. We were right in front of her and it took her several minutes to even acknowledge that we were there. She did not even say thank you after finally doing her job, she just walked away. Would love to give zero stars.

It's a new store, so it's nice, but the customers don't understand personal space. As I was checking out, a young lady came up beside me and started putting her items on the counter next to my purse. There's a reason the sign says, "line forms here" so you give the customer ahead of you space to complete their transaction. People seem so inpatient these days.

I have no complaints on the products that Dollar General offers. But I do however have many complaints on the service and the neatness of the store (Talk about COVID19). The employees weather its management or lead positions, are very rude and very unprofessional when it comes to customer service. I was not greeted when I entered in fact the employees where nowhere to be found. When I finally did locate one she was very snobby and acted as if I irritated her. I asked where something was and she just said I don't know and walked off. When I went to check out it was a diffrent employee she never made eye contact with me. I was trying to make small talk with her and she just rolled her eyes. I understand having a bad day at work or an off day it happens but there is a difference between that and just plain out hating your job. As for the cleanliness of the store. Ive seen pig pens that were cleaner and smelled alot better than this place. Trash was all over the parking lot and the front entrance. The inside wasn't much better the floors looked and felt like they had never seen a broom let alone a mop. The buggys were scattered throughout the store inside and out. The baskets were so filthy I was scared to even attempt to touch it. I will from now on bring my own shopping bags. It is a shame that Dollar General doesn't take pride in what they do anymore.

The employees were very helpful and because of there good spirited attitudes along with them all wearing smiling faces, the story had positive energy and good vibes flowing all through it!! Having those 2 attributes were all that was needed to take and turn a shopping trip that I would normally dread going to and transformed it into me having a good time and enjoying my shopping experience!! Great job Prothro Jct. DOLLAR GENERAL TEAM!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I'm greeted each time I go into the store. Only once have I not and that was at night but hey they may have had a long day. I'm just gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. It's usually always clean and well stocked and it's close to home. So I frequent this store. So glad it was put there...

I was shopping there12/29 a white customer & myself had picked up crayons for adults which were in clearance marked .50c now when cashier item 1.50manager called mainItem was sold to ladynow I get itema black cashier goes only for this customerNow U believe be this act was very racist to think k moved from all white town tozthisManager

I had such an amazing experience here, the staff are so kind hearted specifically 2 ppl that helped me out, the dancer (i don't know his name sorry) and i believe her name was tatiana. If i got it wrong i apologize but thank you so much for helping me out. My payment didn't go through and i only had $20 in cash so i had to leave most of my item's. They had the patience to kindly take me to the other register and help me, on top of that i went 98 cents over 20 and she payed it out of her pocket which made my week. God bless the both of you.

I have been in this store a handful off times and seen multiple employees hiding in the room behind the counter instead of taking care of customers and at least three different employee's have made eye contact with me before dodging back behind the door. Whomever taught these employees and the employees themselves should be fired or reprimanded

Always friendly employees in here. Never had a problem or complaint. Except for Ricky and his weird review. Why would they be slow to get you a table ? It's not a restaurant ....

This store is in the hood ok, it's a place to git n go. That bieng said it's the newest DG in town and it has the new layout. But it's right off the interstate and in the hood end of town. Dont expect Macy's service BUT if you hold your mouth right the folks are wonderful. If you go in there putting on airs... someone probably will be less than cordial. It's a good store in a depressed area and they are underpaid and probably part time employees who are not appreciated much. You'd be surprised how far a kind word will get you tho. But that's anywhere

The employees are really friendly. However there aren't near enough of them. It was extremely busy. There was at least a dozen people in the checkout line

Empty disheveled shelves and boxes in the aisles. As a matter of fact, there's more product in thr aisles waiting to be stocked than there is on the actual shelves

Employees cared. We drive a semi and was broke down and in a hotel. We had a buggy full. They went out of their way to make sure everything we had was double bagged. We found a ride back to the hotel
