The service was spectacular and the atmosphere was very homey, but the actual desserts were underwhelming. I drove all the way from Conway to try their fruit tart, and I was very disappointed to say the least. When I made it home and went to eat my fruit tart, I was disgusted the sight in front of me. The fruit on my tart were all molded and the crust was raw. I’m scared to eat the key lime pie, if that’s what they’re serving. I feel like I just wasted gas, time and money.

Was only in town for one night and decided to grab some breakfast at Communist Bakery. We got coffee and the quiche of the day. The Quiche Lorraine was delicious and had really fresh ingredients! This place has all your sweets favorites. Get cookies, pies, cakes, and other confections! Enjoy!

this was one of my favorite places i went to while i was in little rock, and i wish i had gone earlier in my trip so that i could have been a repeat customer!i ordered the broccoli cheese soup and a chocolate chip cookie. the man who helped me was so incredibly kind and friendly, and i realized later that he actually gave me two cookies since one of them was crumbling.the soup was good! the broccoli pieces were a bit firm for my liking, but it was still tasty. the best part though was the little roll they included to go with the soup—it was SO soft and delicious. the cookies were also yummy.there is quite a good bit of seating available inside, along with power outlets if you're looking for a place to get some work done. the service is friendly and warm, the food is good, and the prices are super affordable.it was clear just from my one visit that it's a business that's doing a lot of good for the community! can't wait to go back next time i'm in little rock!

I like this atmosphere. Employees were very friendly and helpful. This was my first visited. They have a lot of type of cookies! But I wanted to buy some breads. We got the French baguette. It was good taste and I made a sandwich. I would like to get the sour dough bread but they had a only biggest sour dough bread. I will try next time I visit. In the showcase, you can see a few pastries. Looks tasty. This bakery do Variety-rich product development. Looks like we can eat in and to-go both.

Always love to skip the chain restaurants and find a local place. My salad didn’t come out in a hurry, but the staff is fun and helpful. Atmosphere is quaint restaurant meets bakery.

Seriously one of my favorite places in Little Rock. I've been coming here since I was a kid. They have some of the best desserts and breakfast dishes. The servers are super helpful and friendly. Even on a busy morning, customer service is fast and friendly.

Sandwiches are really good, but not very filling. However, they offer small-cut carrots as a side or chips if you prefer. The salads are really good, though. Breakfast and lunch options are pretty good.A pretty good variety of bakery goods -- breads, cakes, muffins, pastries, cookies, donuts, other specialty items. You can order ahead for large orders and they ask you call ahead for bread orders to make sure you get what you want, but they have a small selection on the shelves.The prices are decent, and the cafe dining area is nice. It is kind of cramped if you are in a group larger than two. There are a few outside tables as well, when weather permits. Lunch and breakfast peak times are pretty busy, and you can expect a bit of a wait when ordering food.

I wish we'd been in town more than one night so we could have visited the C.B. more than once.Nice atmosphere, natural light through big windows, friendly staff and delicious everything. We had espresso based hot drinks, breakfast sandwiches and took some sweets for the road.If you have the chance, stop in here with time to shop.Plenty of space to socially distance and staff wears masks (as of 12/17/20), if that matters to you.

We used community bakery for our wedding cakes (brides and grooms). They were able to copy a design we showed them very well for the cake. They allowed us to sample different cake flavors ahead of time so we could decide what our guests would like best. They were very collaborative and helped us to get the cakes we wanted for our wedding within our budget.

We stopped at this place on our way home and regretted it very much.I ordered a Lavender Latte and got a regular one.Tuna's sandwich was old.It was very dirty inside.The staff is rude.Never again.

Community Bakery did my wedding cake and it was phenomenal! It was Halloween-inspired, and they were able to make my bloody wedding cake idea come to life. Tasted great, too!

I saw good reviews about this store and went there to grab some coffee and snacks. However, the staff was extremely rude and we did not feel welcomed. We ordered two cheese cakes and could not even finish. I will never ever visit this balery again. One star for the cute appearance of the store.

First place we go with out of town guest. It is a great view of Little Rock and good food.Vegetarian options: Build your own sandwich fills the bill, plus soups and sweets.Parking: If you find a spot with block, grab it.

I really wanted to love this place. It was just okay. After doing some research we decided to give this place a try. As I am learning more and more in Little Rock if Im new to the place, or have questions, and not ready to order then I feel like I need to get out of the way. Besides the service being insincere and rushed, which seems to be common for new hot spots downtown, the food was just okay. They made the soma toast sound great. Their fresh bread topped with avocado, egg, and tomato. Both my husband and I were not happy because it was guacamole not avocado and for some reason the tomato smelled of fish. I'm guessing they are stored close together, but it was unpleasant. The best part of it was their bread. We decided to give their pastries a try. They did not seem homemade and were dry. I wanted hot tea because I don't drink coffee, but they seemed frustrated that I asked because they didn't even know what was in stock and had to run and check. It was cheap bagged tea that is sold at Wal Mart. They were crowded. Alot of coffee drinkers were in there. Unless I just want a loaf of bread we probably won't be back.

Perfect little SOMA coffee spot. Definitely a more traditional feel, in all the best ways. They have all the traditional faves and always have rotating specials. This is the kind of place you pick up a mixed box of pastries for your family on a Saturday morning, but is just as easily a "meet your friend for coffee and catch up" place. The atmosphere is great and you can easily spend a couple of hours enjoying the window view. I cannot say enough good things.

After reading all of the other reviews, I feel bad about having to leave a negative review; however, I must because I feel cheated. I made a special trip to Community Bakery after work to purchase a strawberry cake due to my serious craving. I remembered loving Community Bakery's strawberry cake when I have the opportunity to eat a slice at someone's party. I was able to come in and immediately grab a cake from the refrigerator near the front of the store. The worker had an excellent attitude; however, I didn't appreciate having my cake in hand ready to checkout while they continued their conversation with a friend in the drive-thru for some minutes.Once I returned home and cut into the cake, I was very disappointed to discover that the cake didn't have the appearance that I remember it having years ago. It did not have the taste of fresh strawberries. Instead, I was reminded of boxed strawberry cake mix. It was extremely dry...not moist at all. It was definitely not worth the $27 that I paid. I have tasted other desserts at Community Bakery before and have been extremely satisfied; however, I have no desire to purchase another strawberry cake from Community Bakery again because I could have purchased a box of cake mix and baked a better cake.
