Love the Halloween decorations. They have 3 aisles dedicated to it. Nice clean store and very organized.

Best wi fi parking lot in town. I get all of my junk food here. They have a lot of stuff that is not found at the grocery store like retro candy. Nice furniture also.

I drove to NLR big lots from west Little Rock to get some things I saw a girl post on TikTok! After searching the store with no luck, I asked Brandon, an employee about said items I wanted. He did not have them out yet because they are from a new line. He went out of his way to go and grab these items for me from the pallet in the back. I have never received better service. He and Tay (another employee) came out with the exact items I was wanting!! These guys along with Paul who checked us out made it worth it! They all have a new customer due to this. They deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond for customers!!

I was verbally assaulted by another shopper(?) repeatedly and then she started in on my 1 year old grandson. She sat on the bench by the last register & exit door. The store did nothing to remove this woman as I'm trying to check out!! I'm sure I'm not the first nor the last if this woman is a everyday shopper, visitor. Just be aware of the location of this store! I will not return there! I wished I'd left my items & walked out!

Susan the sales representative that helped me was AMAZING!! She showed me things about my reward account I didn't know anything about!! She saved me $25 on my purchases (so I got more stuff)!! Susan deserves a raise!! Especially when customer service is a dying art!! And I was out of town in Little Rock. I'm from Texas!!

Winter Update: Its that magical time of the year, the holidays! The candy and candle selection was top notch today! Gift ideas galore! Plush beautiful blankets and throws, toys, pet gifts, coffees and sweet treats, it was a good day to shop! One thing that remains consistent is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful. Thank you Big Lots for making the rush and stress of the season nonexistent!Summer: This store was fully stocked and clean and I'm headed back this weekend with my measurements for an outdoor deck rug! Spring has sprung at this location!

Completed a store pickup. Box was was damaged at pickup. Manager reassured me that it just happened. Got home and my item was damaged too. My husband was able to fix , so I didn't return it. Managers attitude needs some fine tuning.

My daughter and great grandson were at the big lots at McCain checking out. A lady sitting on a bench next to check out area started assaulting them. She also called them monkeys. There was a manager working one of the register, and we think was a manager that didn’t do anything. Very disappointed that any business would allow someone to sit around on a bench and assault someone and a baby. Poor business practices. You are putting Your customers at risk and the woman sitting at the bench could get herself hurt by letting this kind of behavior happen.

Huge selection of name brand items for a fraction of original retail price. The sales lady that checked us out was very friendly while she worked smooth and efficiently. She was also very informative explaining the BIG rewards benefits.

Place always seems well organized and people are always friendly and helpful. Recently moved stuff around in the store and looks a bit better than it did before. Very well stocked and very little issue with product not meeting my needs and wants. Prices pretty reasonable for the most part, and seasonal stuff is usually stocked fairly.

I brought in an item that I'd received as a secret Santa gift to attempt to exchange it for a different size. After expressing to an employee in the check out line that I'd came in for an exchange, I proceeded to shop in the store. As I shopped, I noticed the Big Lots employee that I'd spoken with was walking near the area I was shopping in. She proceeded to speak into a device informing another employee that "...a girl with a red ponytail (me) was being suspicious and didn't come in with the item." I heard everything she implied about me. She said i was, "trying to pull a fast one." It was mortifying and extremely out of line. They could have simply checked their security cameras if they questioned the validity if my exchange instead of accusing me of something illegal. I'll never return to this store. I'm beyond insulted. Train your people better, this was an awful experience. I'm still so upset about her accusation.

I'm here quite often since I work nearby. They have a great selection of unique groceries. I usually run in for a quick snack. All the sweet ladies know me well & I enjoy seeing their smiling faces! I also think their home products are amazing! I have purchased sheets & towels here & find that the products are high quality for prices that are better than the other mass market stores (even Amazon)!

Friendly staff, clean and organized store. I love when I go into a store and I am greeted with a smile. I also love when the products are displayed neatly and that the floor models match what is in the box. Assembly is required on most items but I have not been disappointed by the products. Reasonably priced as well.

I placed a order for a dresser that was listed available online. I called to set up the curbside pickup 2 times before I left home and confiming that I was going to be on my way there. I must say the young lady I spoke with both times was so nice , too bad I have to give 1 star. I went there and was informed that my order was cancelled and they DIDN'T have the dresser in the store. It's frustrating because I wasted my time and gas for no reason. I went to the LR Location and Had a much better experience. I didn't get the exact one I wanted but at least they had a selection. The associate even gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Make sure you guys triple check orders and inform the customer before they waste gas coming to get items you don't have. SMH

Generally, I am pleased with BL. But their Bad Business Practices have left me questioning if I should shop there again.1st let me say that the staff working there are A Plus. They do their best with the conditions given to them.BBP #1. They might not have the furniture that you see on the store floor (in the back), and they won't sell the item on the floor. Huh? So you literally SEE a chair that is not for sale!!!!! I will go back in a few months and see if that same chair is there for NO SALE.BBP #2. It was 3 weeks before I received a reply from my contact with BL Corporation. I contacted them with a kind email, not a rant. They said they would pass the issue on to the district manager. I have not heard from them at all.Questional BP #3. The first time I saw this chair, I thought it was reasonably priced. When it went on SALE, I think the price was actually increased by $9. I didn't write down the price when I first saw it, so I could be wrong. My mother also thought the price was higher too.

They added lots of furniture cut down on other stuff. Watch your tags!! Manager did nothing when brought to her attention acted non-plussed! Same items, exactly, some marked $5.50--others $7.00!! Ripping folks off. She left it as was!! Did not pull items or correct tags! Rude too.

Not sure what happened but Big Lots never has any close out deals anymore. That was my main reason for shopping at the store. Anymore it's just like going in a regular little store and it has the same stuff over and over and over unless it's seasonal products. People loved the closeout deals because of the bargain this that come along with it.

I used to love Big Lots. Now I have no use for the place. We found a big bag of dog food for a great price. The shelf was stocked with several of the same item, and there was a shelf tag directly below them. We get to the register and it rings up higher. An employee checks, and tells us, “Oh, that’s for a different kind of that brand.” We question how we’re supposed to know that, as there are several of the variety we had stocked in the spot and none of them were marked with price tags indicating any differently. The employee just shrugs and says, “It just is.” Adding to our frustration, they’ve also completely removed the baby section and the bathrooms look (and smell) like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. There’s seriously years of dust accumulated on lights and nasty, hanging fake plants. Gross. I’m done
