We loved our stay at Daisy State Park. The walk in tent camp sites are some of the best we've ever experienced. This park is also incredibly peaceful. I feel like this is a highly underrated state park in Arkansas. It is in a beautiful location in the Ouachita Mountains. The restrooms/bath houses are very clean. And it seems as if it is rarely busy. We will most definitely be camping here again!

Booked Tent Site 73, but it didn't have enough room for 2 tents. There was plenty of space, but the sites are built on the side of a hill. The pads and tables were all in great condition. The bathrooms are at the top of the hill, but they were closed when I went (First week of February). We moved to Site 89 (RV/Tent). The park was empty and we had our pick, and it was still hard to decide which one to get. Theses sites all have great views and a good distance between each other. The bathrooms were very clean, the park was well taken care of and the staff was very helpful.

Site 61, walk-in tent camping, was very nice. It was close by a very clean bathhouse. The weather was nice and cool this time of year. Not too many campers. Very peaceful, quiet and pleasant. Beautiful colors on the trees and skies. Will definitely visit again.

A lovely park on a lake in Arkansas. There are hiking trails, lots of camping with areas for tents, rental yurts and RV areas.Playground: There is a playgroundRestrooms: Restrooms are clean and there are a few throughout the parkDog-friendliness: A great place to walk your dog. If traveling, stop here for a nice break.Picnic area: Numerous picnic areas dot the park. Mostly tree covered and many with views of the lake

Wonderful campsite. We rented two yurts for a week and managed to do something fun and new each day. The yurts have heat and air and are very spacious. The beds are a little hard but very manageable. We hiked the trails, rented kayaks, spent a day at the diamond mine (only 20 min away)4 grandkids from 1 to 6 had a blast almost every second. The day with the kayaks was their favorite.

We loved this spot! Right on the lake! Beautiful and spacious. The bathroom/shower was immaculate. We will be back*CAUTION* camp sights 1-35 road is VERY difficult to turn around! Be sure you know exactly where you are going if you're pulling a big RV!!!

This was one of our first visits to Arkansas, we loved the nature and the unique stay we had in our yurt.

Hadn’t camped in 20 plus years. Be prepared for anything We had some rain on the second night. The pad wasn’t level so I had to dig trench’s away from the tent and screen room. We didn’t lose anything🌊💦💧. The next two days should be perfect. Few people came by to check on us. That was so nice of them to do that. I’d be lying if I said I’m not jealous of the RV folks.

Many sites are very steep, and there isn't a no wake zone between the two campsite peninsulas. I had people with jetski's coming through a lot, so I didn't feel safe to swim at my own camp. Also, bank fishing was out of the question. Overall, it's still a pretty park and a good place to get away!Dog-friendliness: Bring your own bags to pick up. I didn't see a courtesy dog bag like other state parks have.

I love Daisy State Park. It is a very beautiful place. The staff are super-friendly and helpful, and it is one of the cleanest, well manicured parks I have ever seen. The bathroom and shower facilities are exceptionally clean. Virtually every RV spot has easy access to the water. It is awesome to take a walk around the park and see all the deer. If you are into water sports, they have that. Oh, and yes, you can rent kayaks to paddle around the water if you wish. Fishing - yep! Superior access to great fishing from the bank and a nice fishing dock. Just want to ride a motorcycle around (like I enjoy)? Well, you are in for a treat because virtually all of the roads within 4 hours are awesome day trips from this park. Just camp here and ride. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed in a yurt around Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful park. It’s small and woodsy and quiet. Lake Greeson is beautiful.

It’s a nice park and lake.Problems I had were1 when I got to my site there were people on it. Apparently they were trying to stay extra nights for free and hope nobody noticed. The park ranger made them pack up and leave.2. I stayed on site 85 and it definitely needs more gravel on the fire pit and tent pad. It rained and my site was mostly mushy mud after so that wasn’t pleasant. Everyone around me had ample gravel and dry sites3. Having a water view site means everyone and their mother will be walking through/around your site to get to the water. It wasn’t a very relaxing time because of this. I feel like the park could maybe put on a boat slip for campers to keep this from happening? God forbid people just respect boundaries. The restrooms are close by and clean. Hot showers. The staff was very nice and the lake is beautiful

Our family visited Daisy many years ago and for some reason we waited until just this past week to visit once again and for the life of me I can't see why we waited so long to go back. We had an RV site right next to the restroom and showers and it was so convenient. The restrooms were were heated and the showers had hot showers which were amazing. Geocaching was fun and the kids had a great time, some awesome memories were had. Visiting this park has really set a high bar on park standards.

This is probably one of the most beautiful place for a getaway. You can camp here, you can bring your RV's or you can just rent one of the three Yurts they have that faces the lake. They have electrical outlets, heater/AC, fireplace, cooking stove, water and yet it is so isolated. My phone had no reception here. Absolutely quiet and peaceful. The public restrooms were cleaner than most of the hotel restrooms, there is ATV trail, bike trail and hiking trails. The nights sky was beautiful, even stargazers will love this place. Please book in advance for the Yurt.

Since moving to Louisiana last year we have started venturing out to try new parks. What was amazing about camping at Daisy was camping on a hill overlooking the water. It seems at most places, the camping sites are just in the woods without a view. It was nice to camp somewhere where you had a view from the campsite. There wasn't much in the way of hiking but we did enjoy some kayaking which was nice.

Stopped here thinking it was just a park and wanted to let my dog stretch his legs. Wow! What a nice surprise... beautiful view of the lake from the campsites. We ended up staying for the night. Peaceful and it wasn't crowded. Bathrooms and showers were very clean!!

The staff at the office was super kind and informative. Everything was perfect. We were the only people in our loop as we decided to tent camp. The roads are a little narrow in that section and forewarning, the tent sights are on a pretty good incline but the pad is flat. The only thing I wished they had was better lighting at the bathhouse. I feel like that was a lil unsafe

This place is BEAUTIFUL! The restrooms are super clean, the park rangers circle through regularly, and the breeze down by the water makes it bearable to camp in a tent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the ANTS are EVERYWHERE. They own the place. The trek to the bathroom is up a mountain, but we enjoyed the physical activity. Other than that, this place is awesome.

The natural beauty of this area is shown in the attached photographs. The park itself is well maintained, clean, and the staff helpful and flexible in regards to finding or moving to the best spot. We like that the park is not close to major cities and a little bit isolated. The only negatives are some spots on one loop have steep grades from the pad to the fire pit and picnic table. And in that same loop, the noise from truck traffic across the lake was a bit distracting.

Just left from another incredible memorial family trip! Our kids make the 4th generation to visit continuously. This place is our heavenly ideal camping spot getaway! Bathrooms are always pristine, as is the park. We love their activities offered, the staff is always incredible, as is the scenery. This was our first experience staying in a yurt and these are amazing! Heating and cooling!! Wow!We’ve already booked our next vacation- we will be back for Spring break!

❤Daisy St. Park. It's our go to place to get away from our hectic schedules. It's not the most breathtaking place but there's something special and comfortable about Daisy's St. Park. There's a playground, which our kids enjoy so much. The lake is great to fish if you know where the fish are. There is one day picnic areas by the water and fire pits with wood around to use to start your fire. Unfortunately, not many people take advantage of these great public recreational opportunities, while at the same time getting away from the crowds is a blessing to help you clear your mind and spend time with God,family, friends and nature!

This was an awesome trip. I went with a friend who had rented a yurt, and it was on waterfront property, set up with both gas and charcoal grills, a fireplace, and lots of space. I will go back. The office personell were the bomb, especially Deena, Dena, etc. Not sure how she spells it, but very informative

Was a really nice state park to stay at and wasn't busy at all during the winter. Staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The heated bathrooms were very clean and the showers seemed to have an unlimited supply of hot water which was nice during the cold weather. Site 53 is probably one of the best sites to camp at and it is pretty level. Very strong/fast AT&T 5G and Verizon 4GLTE Coverage here. TMobile was barely a bar and unusable. Would stay here again.
