My stay at Azalea Falls was nothing less than an amazing experience. The antiques and the other furnishings were phenomenal. Kathy was an amazing hostess and was there if we needed anything but stayed completely out of our way. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom that had a pool table. There were coffee makers in each room and Kathy had an abundance of food in case we forgot something. We will be back and stay longer. I hope to rent all three cabins the next time. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH AZALEA FALLS.

Not only is the home big and beautiful, but the property has amazing hikes and views. Also, the service was amazing. We had an amazing homemade breakfast every morning. You don't find service like this very often.Nearby activities: Be prepared to travel for food or groceries. It is a bit of a drive.Food & drinks: The homemade breakfast was amazing.

The entire lodge was incredibly clean and decked out with very exquisite art. Pool table lounge in the basement was fun as well. Kathy was truly hospitable and personally served us a wonderful breakfast. The king sized bed was great, the room was great, perfect temp. The bathroom and bedroom were big, nice looking and clean. You could tell they were very thoughtful in everything that included. Fridge was full though we did not partake. We stayed just one night in order to wake up and go four-wheeling the next day, but I would recommend this for anyone interested in a romantic weekend, family stay, or for whatever. If the weather is nice, they have a ton of outdoor seating. We stayed in the Beauty Lodge, which was cool since it overlooked the valley. Great stay.

Kathy went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 2 nights at the Beauty B&B and wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the whirlpool bathtub and comfortable bedding! We spent a good part of one morning hiking down to the waterfall and explored all around the bluffs. Lots of birds and wildlife in the area and it was so peaceful and quiet! We very much look forward to returning again soon! Great memories were made here!

The property is absolutely gorgeous! Vegetarian is lush and the grounds are well maintained. An impromptu trip to Boxley to photograph the Elk allowed me to come across this gem.I am fortunate to have the entire lodge to myself for the night! The lodge is exquisitely appointed with many hidden gems - enticing books; chess game; library, pool table - and a hiking trail that takes you to the Azalea falls and through the woods.Trails are well marked and trails show a lot of use - making them easy to follow.Kathy is a lovely host and I am looking forward to returning

We stayed at the Azalea Falls Beauty B&B over the holiday weekend, the hostess was very kind and helpful during check in. The location is secluded and close to many trails and activities around the buffalo river. We liked the ability to access the deck from our room. We didn’t get the chance to experience the trail on property, and had no issues with noise as we were the only guest staying over the weekend.

The hostess was very kind and helpful during check in giving us a map and information about nearby trails and where we could possibly see elk. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtful. The room was great with the 2 person whirl pool tub and comfortable queen bed. Lost of good amenities such as full stocked kitchen, in room mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Would definitely recommend staying!

We had a wonderful time at Azalea fallsB&B! Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The common rooms were beautifully decorated. The downstairs has a large TV and billiard table. Outside there were multiple decks, tables/chairs to relax on and just enjoy nature. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to disconnect from the fast pace of the city.

My husband and I recently came here on an anniversary trip. We stayed at the Beauty Bed & Breakfast. It is a multi-level lodge/ log cabin with a nice walk around porch. I would describe the interior style as Victorian eclectic. The Good: There is a nice little trail on the property that we enjoyed that leads to a waterfall. The breakfast was good, about the quality you would receive at a nice continental hotel breakfast, but with good service. The wait staff was very nice. Our bedroom was quite lovely looking. There was also candy all over the place set out in bowls, which was a nice welcome. The Bad: One of the reasons we chose the room we did was that we wanted to enjoy the 2-person jacuzzi tub. We were the only people staying at the time, so there should have been plenty hot water, but it didn’t even fill up a few inches before it was completely cold water running out the faucet. We called the main office and received little help (and even a bit of snark, as I was corrected that “it isn’t a hot tub, it’s a jacuzzi tub”), and ended up doing what we could to try to fix the issue, to no avail. If you take the time it took to contact the main office, attempting to figure out what was wrong and try to fix it, testing the water, and, this is almost embarrassing, resorting to boiling water in pots to pour into it because after all this, we were going to have our jacuzzi bath, we spent probably over 2 hours of our vacation time dealing with the issue. After all that work, it was pretty anticlimactic and not relaxing. The staff said that they have received complaints about the hot water before, but when they test it, it works, and that it might be a breaker issue. I think if they would test trying to fill up a tub to the level they would bathe in, they would see the problem, and I think it’s a hot water heater issue. We were given a discount for the inconvenience, so I am thankful for that.Other than that, the only other thing I would say is that it could have been cleaner. Particularly the tub, floorboards, ceiling beams, etc. The bed looked clean though so I felt comfortable.

The cottage was cozy, the road to the place is not that bad but has a narrow access.. the best thing I liked about was the the place was stocked with all the basic essentials from sugar, salt, oil, creamer, coffee, welcoming cookies with cleaning materials. There was butter, ketchup and other sauces were inside the fridge as well. We have done Airbnb before but this one was the best with amenities that a family would need in a remote mountain area. Kathy was very sweet to get us some eggs in need because we had 4 kids with us. If given a chance we would go back again. Highly recommended the place. Last to mention to get a surprise Champaign bottle for you was lovely!!

I wasn’t going to write a review for this place but after reading the owner’s response on airbnb, I felt the need to explain our experience. The location is excellent. It’s secluded and in a beautiful location in Arkansas. It’s close to Whitaker Point and many other hiking trails and when we were looking on airbnb for places to stay near Whitaker Point, this place was it. We messaged the lady on airbnb and got prompt response about our questions. She also asked us if we’d like breakfast and if we’re allergic to anything. Super thoughtful and we were very excited to have a weekend stay!Once we got there and met with her, she gave us a quick tour of the place. Immediately when we entered the lodge, there was a musky smell. I looked up and apparently it’s due to mold that wooden cabins often get when left unmaintained. In the airbnb response, she disregarded this by saying that the smell is from “the clogged toilet we left behind” but ill get to that later. The furniture was dusty and when she showed us our room, she pointed out that there’s a wasp that somehow made it into the room. She went and grabbed a fly swatter and asked us to go downstairs while she kills it. She came down and told us she couldn’t get the wasp and left us with the fly swatter to kill a giant wasp. We legit spent 20 minutes of our time after she left finding and eventually killing the wasp. We’re young professionals in our mid 20s so maybe our expectations were too high, but i dont think any place should leave their guests to deal with giant stabbing insects. She had informed us that there was gonna be a couple who would be staying at one of the other rooms in the lodge so we weren’t surprised when they showed up. We had plans to go see Whitaker Point the next morning at 4 am so we went to sleep around 9 pm. We got woken up at midnight with the other guests being obnoxiously loud and having s*x. We could hear everything and couldn't fall back asleep. Our phones didn't have network so we panicked a little about sharing a place with drunk people we’ve never met before being noisy at 1 in the morning now.Due to the slight anxiety, we used the restroom and to add to the already frustrating situation, the toilet was clogged. 1 am for a clogged toilet probably isn’t a good reason to call the owner, don’t you think? THAT’S why we didn't call. The noise from the couple wouldn't stop so we quickly packed and left the place at 2 am, drove an hour to Fayetteville and got a hotel room for that night (Friday night going into Saturday morning) till Sunday morning (when we’d travel back home). We went back to the lodge around noon on Saturday, picked up everything we had left in a hurry the night before, and never came back to the lodge. Despite having the stay paid for from Friday till Sunday. (Oh btw, when we came back to pick up rest of our stuff, there was another wasp just chilling in the room.)I realize the noisy guests wasnt the owner’s fault but the fact that she was so rude in her airbnb response, i needed others to see this too.I took pictures of how dusty the place was, the number of dead wasps under the bed and the bathroom, and even voice recorded the noise from the other guests in case we need proof when we want to put a request for 1 night refund (because, again, we didn’t even stay at the lodge for longer than a few hours). We were so frustrated that we didn’t wanna deal with the refund process which, i feel, was very well justified. So please, take reviews from your guests as constructive criticism and dont try to defend yourself when you can actually work on making the stay better for your guests.I will not be coming back and do not recommend anyone to deal with the smell, dust, and dead/live wasps when it was meant to be a relaxing getaway. UNLESS this is taken in a positive way and they fix these issues.

Was beautiful and comfortable. So much was furnished already, just had to bring what we wanted to cook. We absolutely loved it here and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery... plus it snowed! We plan on many trips to come back here and stay. Price was very reasonable, in fact, cheaper than some hotels we have stayed in. This place is just amazing!!!

Jenna and I were married here on Sept. 19,1999. What a beautiful place...and huge with a huge deck overlook. You can trek down into the valley for some fantastic hiking and bluff rocks. It only has falls if it has had some rain though.

I'm almost hesitant about reviewing Azalea Falls Lodge. I love it there so much I'm a bit protective of it and don't want to turn others on to how amazing it is. If it weren't for the fact that the owners are so nice and deserve the review, I may refrain. This place is magical. It's tucked away down a quiet county road in the forested hills of the Arkansas Ozarks. The house is a beautiful thing. The owner Alf and his friends constructed the place themselves. It's reminiscent of a Frank Lloyd Wright design. It blends so well with the surroundings that it looks like it's a part of the landscape. Tastefully decorated, you'll feel right at home. A beautiful kitchen and dining area for preparing and enjoying your meals. So many windows that bring in the natural lighting and make you feel as though you're outdoors even when you're not. Fireplace in the living room and master bedroom with native stone construction. The decks are one of the most amazing highlights of the home. They wrap around the house and off the back deck is your own private waterfall that spills down into your own private hollow. You can explore the entire area via the hiking trail that leads right from your back door. If seclusion is your thing but you still yet enjoy all the comforts of home and more then this place is for you. A wonderful setting for anyone interested in canoeing the Buffalo River or simply exploring the hillsides and hollows of this spectacular area.

Beautiful cab in the woods with everything you would want right there. The cabin has everything and expensive home would have, the deck is beautiful and looks out on forest, a box canyon, and a waterfall. In the area is plenty of hiking, floating on the buffalo and king rivers, and lots of other outdoor things to do.

Fantastic! Much better priced then any other cabin I've ever been to. When they say fully stocked kitchen, they meant it! Beautiful location, lovely solid cabin, comfortable beds, impressive furniture, great decks, everything you need for a family get together. Highly recommended!

Booked this lodge by the good reviews. Bad choice!!! Everything in the house was old: appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, furniture.. PLUS, all bedsheets were dark without being replaced likely. Wife got dozens of bites by bedbugs. Entire house had horrible smell of mildew... Save your money for somewhere else if you don't want your vacation ruined.

Unbelievable. This place is incredible, every detail has been combed over. The cabin is absolutely beautiful!!! They even left us wine with 4 glasses for our party. I'm in shock, i never expected an experience like this off in the Ozark valleys.

I've been here twice, both in the lodge and beauty lodge and I absolutely adore it. Feels like I'm right at home while tucked away in the mountains. I am sure to come back here any time I'm venturing to the trails near the Buffalo River.

Beautiful place! Excellent customer service. Not at all what you would expect from "cabin" rental. Very nice place, beautifully decorated. My only regret is that we weren't prepared with groceries and supplies. Not any convenient grocery stores.

We stayed in the B&B and it was a very comfortable stay. Short hiking trail is right outside the B&B that wraps around a waterfall. Would consider staying here again. Lovely place.
